New job!

2012-11-07T23:00:00.000-08:00

Even though I am disappointed how things turned out in the election yesterday, I am very happy and proud to say that I found a stable job. I am a proud employee of Old Navy!

I went to orientation yesterday and today and feel like I can now take on this new challenge fully prepared. Well, I don't have much of a choice considering its do or die because black friday is quickly approaching and I will be thrown in head first! But I am so excited. I can't wait for this new journey to begin. For good measure, here is a video of my darling Abby:

I love my little Abby!

CleanWell Hand Sanitizer Wipe review

2012-10-01T10:13:00.000-07:00

I received a sample of the CleanWell Hand Sanitizing Wipe from Influenster to test out in my Naturals VoxBox. It came with one naturally sanitizing wipe, 5" x 7", that is alcohol free. It was a very unexpected surprise the fact that it didn't smell like a hospital when I opened it. Rather it has a nice, subtle citrus scent. I tested it out after coming back from the park with my dog on my hands and I have to say its a great product.

Most times with hand wipes, you are left with a very noticeable chemical residue on you hands. They never really feel quite clean - unless you use these! My hands felt fresh and clean, not sticky or slimy at all! And the great thing is that they don't dry out right away, which I would imagine is ideal for people with children so they can keep cleaning up those messes without using several wipes.

After looking at the website, I think I would get the Ginger Bergamot Starter Pack since it comes with the pocket pack of individual wipes. These are totally worth buying since they don't use any harsh chemicals!

I love the fact that on the "Who we are" section of their website they proudly commit the fact that they're "not just another company that makes stuff you clean with." They're, "a group of people who set out to find a better way to clean."

EBOOST review

2012-09-18T23:19:00.001-07:00

I tried the sample of EBOOST that I received in my Naturals VoxBox from Influenster

I have to admit that the night before I got no sleep whatsoever and I was exhausted! And on top of that, I ran out of milk for my coffee...so I was running on fumes.

It dissolves well in water and wasn't too orange-y tasting. I'm not sure if thats a word, but it works for me.

I grabbed this from the EBOOST website :

What is EBOOST?

EBOOST is a naturally flavored effervescent vitamin supplement that comes in powder, tablet or shot form. EBOOST’s natural proprietary blend delivers energy that is unyielding, focus that is unclouded, immunity that is derived from vitamins and minerals, and a means of recovery that is not only sugar-free, but delivers essential nutrients. EBOOST gives all those who rely on it a healthy competitive advantage. At work. At play. For life.

It actually is very good for a powder drink. Didn't have that nasty film that powder drinks usually get on the top and tasted like an orange soda.

I really did feel the kick of energy afterwards. I would totally consider buying this, maybe not for everyday use - self proclaimed coffee junkie - but definitely for those hot afternoons when I'm exhausted!

happy birthday america

2012-07-05T16:33:00.004-07:00

That's what I heard being yelled at me pretty much all day long yesterday. Happy Birthday, America!

The day before, my mom and I went all over town, preparing for an independence day we'd celebrate at my sisters house.

Abby admiring the flag of her adopted country:

My sister picking out music for our day

Our drinking, eatery and napkin supply

Mason jar goodness

Decor

"Come on, get on this massive boat on wheels!"

Oh, Southern California. You never cease to amaze

Drunken crying

Good men & women of NBPD doing their job

Random hipster goodness

Very beachy picture

Gold shorts

"I love you, man"

Hiding from the cops

Fruity flag

Patriotic cupcakes...

...with a surprise center!

My sister on the beach

...yup

Drunken Brazilians who then demanded I send them the photo. I will.

Parents

Sister with Sofi

Me and a cold sleepy Abby

Best thing I've ever made

Sucks if you don't speak spanish, cause its hilarious.

Ted

2012-06-29T23:09:00.001-07:00

I went to see Ted tonight.

It was actually really funny. Not really a movie I would go to see with my parents - but I'm sure without the awkwardness of seeing such an inappropriate movie with each other they would really enjoy it. It was chock-full of Boston culture hilarity, something many people in the audience didn't appreciate.

The movie really nailed what the majority of Bostonites are really like and I loved that. It was crude and heartwarming at the same time. You really do forget its actually a teddy bear. Very sweet, twisted movie.

Midnight in Miami

2012-06-28T23:33:00.002-07:00

Abby and I had a layover in Miami so we stayed in South Beach for the night. I forgot how hot Miami can get in mid august. This is just a short video of me shopping at Walgreens.

not a robot

2012-06-28T02:26:00.001-07:00

This blog is about me and my life. My travels and adventures. Finding a lot of things out at ~~19 20 21 22 23 24~~ 25 years old - Christ, I'm old.

I have a little partner on my adventures. Her name is Abigail Wilson. She is a 6lb Maltese. This little lady is my best friend. I don't know if that says something about me - like not being able to sustain a relationship with another human? Who knows.

I am currently going through a lot of emotional crap but I don't want to go into that here. You can go over to the "Words to Live by" board on my Pinterest if you want to read my angsty pins.

Who knows what the future holds. My goal is to be happy - no matter what. Happiness, of course, is relative to each person. Every person has a different idea what "happy" looks like. Happiness to one person might be just that, happiness; but to another its a co-dependent hell hole. This goes both ways.

I considered writing something in the "About Me" section of the blog but... I really don't have much going for me right now. Going into detail will only make me feel sad about myself and my first world problems so again, I won't go into it.

I digress.

Its been a social media type of day.

I signed up on Influenster today, hopefully I will get sent a VoxBox. I uploaded some videos to my YouTube account and became a partner. I promised myself I would add people back on Facebook and try and use Twitter even though its stupid. Probably would be better if I had people to talk to other than the ones(10,000 at a time)I follow for giveaways. Oh, and I made this blog and shamelessly plugged my crap all over it.

I will say what I think here. Many sentences will begin with "I" because I am a narcissist. I will talk about music to art to hipster nonsense, I will do reviews on products and get political and drool over cloth diapers for the children I do not yet have. I will show you how to function completely on a delicious and nutritious vegan, organic, gluten-free diet and then crave In-N-Out.

If you want random, you've come to the right place.
