Hey there!

It was my birthday yesterday. So I got this crazy gift: a graphics tablet. It is a Wacom Bamboo Fun! And it is FUN! I've tried it out and it is awesome. Anyways, here is my first try with it. This is a drawing from the book Drawing for Dummies!

As I posted below, the first lesson I did was the drawing of a Gremlin. You can see how simple the shapes and shading are, but that was the point of the lesson I think. Well, anyways, here it is!!!

Crazy!!!
Haha I have completed my first official drawing. Unfortunately, I can't scan it yet. But here is what it is supposed to look like (note picture is taken from www.drawspace.com and all copyrights belong to the site owners!!!)

It is crazy how long it took me to do it (like an hour, but mine is way better even than the one you see here). I sure do hope to advance quickly through the learning process!!!

Not so recently, I began to draw. It slowly transformed into a flaming passion and I am constantly learning. From time to time, I actually draw something, but mostly I am currently studying the basics of the art. In fact, here is when Live journal comes into play. I needed some place to post what I've learned, what kind of new stuff I found out. So this is going to be mainly a point of reference for me, not for anybody else.
