Overall, the quality of the new ZA products are amazing. The color payoffs from all of these shadows are very good and does not cake up as you wear them throughout the day. The glosses have glitter flakes and are so gorgeous. They are not sticky or goopy. As far as the mascara goes, it's AMAZING! If you watched my video you'll see how much more of a difference it has made to my lashes. They almost look like falsies - no joke!

I've always been a fan of ZA Cosmetics ever since I started doing blogs and youtube videos on beauty. They are a very good quality drugstore brand in Asia. They have a variety of products that are very affordable. I haven't been disappointed by them yet :)

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Pro's Picks Lip Tar Set

I bought this set at Sephora for $49 because it was such a good deal. Usually these sell for $16 each on the site so by getting this you're paying around 10 bucks a piece and you get a free brush. How could I say no?

OCC lip tars are infamous for their superior quality and pigmentation. I've never tried anything like it and love it so much. It's best if you use a brush because it will get in through all of the cracks and help prevent the colors from flaking or bleed onto your teeth.

I highly recommend anyone that loves pigmented lip colors to try this set out. There's a variety from hot pink, nudes, corals and reds. These colors are blendable and lasts all day.

Italian Ice Eyeshadow

Italian Ice Eyeshadow Duo in Amalfi #65

When I first saw these eye shadows I was very impressed. I knew about it when I first heard of their company back in January of this year, but never gave it much thought. I in terms of vibrancy these go on just like what's in the palette. It's a icy sheer color, yet build-able to the intensity that you desire. If you watch the video, I did a swatch on my fingers and just barely rubbing it, so much pigment picked up.

I have worn this twice already and every time I did I notice no fall outs whatsoever. The colors packed on the brush and transferred directly onto my lids without fuss. I did use a primer, so of course that always helps. The brush that comes with this palette is very nice and good quality. It's not a sponge applicator, but rather an actual brush. You can easily spot clean this and reuse over and over.

Overall, this is a very high quality product. It fits very conveniently in your purse and is so pretty when applied. Not shimmery or glittery, but has a nice sheen to velvety finish.

Blingtone Eyeshadow

I have several of these Blingtone eye shadows from my Beauty Army subscription service from when they first started back in January of this year. I was so happy to get these and after trying it out I was hooked. If you're looking for a glittery-foil, metallic eye shadow, look no further. These are pearl crushed eye shadows and have the radiance of a disco ball!

In terms of pigmentation, it looks just like what's in the pan. You they pick up really well and are so beautiful for night time wear. For day time wear, you may want to use very little just to add a hint of playfulness to the eyes.

These chrome nail polishes were designed to match the beautiful glittery Blingtone eye shadows. Each color has a perfect pair that is exactly in the same shade, and you can rock it on your eyes and nails. They go on your nails just like the title, Chrome.

This particular color is so pretty and shiny that you don't even need a top coat. The overall quality is even better. When I wore this it lasted well over a week without chipping, and it dried pretty fast. Not even trying to brag about it, but it's the truth :)

SL"INK"Y Liquid Liner

SL"INK"Y Liquid Liner (Matte) in In Paint It Black

This is a liquid liner that has a fine thin brush applicator so that you can easily layer for a thick wing or sharp cat eye. I used this in my latest make up tutorial video (see above), and it applies so even and smooth. The brush is so fine that it was very easy for me to handle without any fuss.

What I really love about it is that it dries quickly, and dries matte. Some liners I have used before would take a while to dry and it would have a flaky or even glossy finish, which I think is very annoying. I really love for my liners to be matte unless it's a glitter liner. It just looks better and professional.

Overall, I have been using this liner everyday! I honestly love it and it lasts all day. No need to retouch and it does not flake off. The only time it comes off is at the end of the day with makeup remover :) Great product!! Highly RECOMMEND!!

My Mix Foundation

My Mix Foundation in Fair 02

Looking for the perfect foundation could be a challenge especially the one that fits to your needs. For me, I look for something that gives my face a brighter complexion, velvet to matte finish, and long lasting.

I actually used this foundation many times already and a little goes a long way. I'm really impressed because of the quality of the product. The color that I received was in Fair 02, and on the site, you can choose your skin tone and get the product accordingly. If you're unsure, they even have an expert help you. Customer service is exceptional and will cater to your needs.

After using this foundation under my makeup, it was flawless and blended so seamlessly into my skin. My uneven distribution of color spots throughout my face was taken care of without the help of a concealer from just a small amount of this product. It gives medium to full coverage without the bulk or heaviness. In addition, it did not feel cakey at all. It was a matte finish and very very long lasting. Even after the end of the day my face makeup still looked nice.

My thoughts......

I got the September 2012 Pambox today actually and got really busy with filming and editing the unboxing video. I'm actually very excited to try out all of the skin care items included for the fact that there's a product I've been wanting to try but hesitant to buy. It's the Shiseido restoring cream by the way :)

My overall reaction to this month's box is huge 2 thumbs up! Though there are no cosmetic items, there are plenty of skin care items to last me for a good 6 weeks. I have heard great things about the Shiseido cream and that alone is enough to satisfy me until the October box. I can't wait to try everything!

I have to send my appreciation to the Pambox team and say THANK YOU! They are truly a great subscription brand to work with and dedicate each box with quality products. I am a huge fan :)

CleanWell Natural Hand Sanitizer Wipes

Being a clean freak I love alcohol wipes, hand sanitizers, and anti bacterial soap in particular. Recently I was sent a Naturals VoxBox from Influenster and included was the CleanWell Natural Hand Sanitizer Wipes.

All of the items were sent to me free of charge and for reviewing purposes only. I am not being compensated for anything I say, and therefore my opinions are not based on any factors other than my own.

With that being said, I usually have little alcohol swabs everywhere from my makeup bag to my computer desk. Basically I clean everything and prefer these little packets over household bottle spray cleaners. They are not only convenient, but easy to use. The problem that I came across with the usual alcohol swabs were that they strip away all the essential moisture from my hands. I didn't like that, but there wasn't much options for me. I use to use lotion, but I didn't like that it packed on so much moisture back to my hands.

After I tried out the packet of CleanWell wipes, I really liked that it kept moisture in while thoroughly cleaning my hands. They are definitely better than the usual alcohol wipes. I looked online and the prices are not crazy either. I have yet to purchase my full size box, but I will be after I run out of my normal alcohol swabs. They are so convenient!!

Parissa Face & Bikini Wax Strips

Hi!!

I'm so sorry I've been MIA for the past few months. I recently went on a big trip and hopefully I'll be motivated to get back into my blog. I've said this before, but I was bummed out about the photos being limited here on blogspot. That was the main reason I was so hesitant to blog after I did my YouTube videos. Nevertheless, I have to edit my photos now to rescale and also choose carefully only the photos I really want to compliment each post.

Anyway, today I decided it was time to dedicate a blog post on the Parissa Wax Strips that was sent to me to review by Influenster. It was from the Naturals VoxBox about a month ago. I didn't get around to testing out the products contained until this week actually. It does take some time to blog and take photos of every step, so that's another reason why I haven't wrote about it so quickly.

Parissa Quick & Easy Wax Strips: Face & Bikini (For All Hair Types)
16 (8 x 2 sided) strips

Each box has 16 strips of wax and also a bottle of Azulene Oil, which is for removal of any remaining wax on your skin, and also to retain smoothness and ingrown hair, plus enhances skin cell regeneration. You can use the oil daily for maximum results.

Here are photos of the step by step process on how to use your wax strips:

1. You want to warm each double strip on the palms of your hands.

2. After warming the product, you can peel back slowly and use the sticky side to adhere to your skin.

3. Make sure you don't clean your skin before you use the strips. Press the strip on smoothly in a downward motion of where your hair grows.

4. Before you peel off, make sure you press one hand to keep skin firm, and then quickly peel off the strip as if you're swatting a fly. Lol I know, weird analogy...but I didn't know how else to explain it! Peel off in the opposite direction of your hair growth so you get every little hair off. Never peel off slowly! The faster you peel the better the results. And please don't use it on the same area during the same treatment.

5. After you're done, you can reuse the same strips a few more times until there's not much stickiness left on the strip. Here's my strip from my let:

6. The Azulene Oil (blue bottle) is used for removing any wax residue from your skin. You can use this daily.

*If your skin turns pink or spotty after you remove your wax strips, applying some pressure or a cube of ice to cool down (this is good for your upper-lip)

Overall, I love this product. I'm so glad it was included in my Naturals VoxBox! There's plenty of strips left so this will last me a few months, as I don't wax that often. I believe a box of this retails for around $9, so it's not that bad. It's like 50 cents per strips. I surely can afford this :)

Hi! Sorry I've been MIA and haven't updated my blog that much. I recently found out that there's actually a limit in how many photos you can have here on your account and after you go over that limit you have to pay. It made me so scared that I just didn't know how to react. So I left my blog alone. I have just been uploading photos onto my Facebook page because there's no limit there.

I really missed writing in my blog because here, I can organize and put everything in a layout. On Facebook all I could do was just upload photos and that's it. It wasn't fun.

I did go in and deleted some multiple uploads of old photos and I'll try to size my pictures down so it's within the free limit. I hate to have that be an issue again because I don't want to stop writing my blog. I love it so much!!

ANYWAY....

I did this look yesterday because I really wanted to use my new Glory Palette by Sleek MakeUP. It's a limited edition in honor of the London Olympics 2012. The palette actually has very little fall outs. The colors stick well on the brush as well as my eyelids...that is with a good primer. I don't generally use any eye shadows that are vibrant in color without a thick cream base primer anymore. I want the same color as the palette so only a cream base primer will work.

I'll be having some fun video tutorials up within this month so please check my YouTube :)) I will usually update that first before my blog or Facebook.

Hi! I came up with this look today because I wanted to use the Dior palette. I ended up pairing it off with the Peach Blossoms paper lashes because I kept thinking about the colors of a garden or like a tea party. Since the colors were pastel and delicate, it turned out very Victorian, or baroque if you will.

The colors in the Dior palette are a iridescent sheen, therefore if you were to do an everyday look, you'd have to be very conservative about it. I went all out and got artsy with this look, so I don't recommend going crazy if you were to walk around outside for a quick run to the grocery store :)

I hope this look wasn't too hard to follow. I know that cut-crease make up can be challenging sometimes but I guarantee you that with practice, you can easily replicate any cut-crease look. It took me several attempts over my whole 'make up career' to try to perfect and clean up cut-crease looks. So I didn't start off 100% flawless :)

My thoughts:

I die every time Sleek comes out with a new product. Especially the palettes. They are sooooooooo pretty! The best part is the price. It is super affordable and worth it more than they are asking for.

The colors are bold, intense, pigmented, true-to-palette color, and fashion forward. They always have new colors that are creative and well put together in a palette as a whole. Not to mention that there is just enough to last you for your entire makeup career!

These are actually not available on the Sleek MakeUP site for shipment to the US. I was very sad about this, but of course, I overpaid for this product on an eBay listing. I guess I didn't overpay, because if I were to buy this on Sleek's website, it would total around $20, and I paid I think $18 on eBay (including shipping). But I would have gotten the whole set and not just the palette and just pay the $10 shipping price on Sleek's site. On eBay, I would have had to get things separately and pay shipping for each.

Sleek never lets me down, so I know this will be another favorite of mine. I can't wait to get it!

It's pretty similar to most sampling subscription service where you pay a flat price and get about 4 to 5 beauty items that they pick out for you. They also release video tutorials, and update beauty tips on their Facebook fan page regularly. Here's the overall breakdown:

My Thoughts...

I first came across Beauty Hunter when someone posted their link onto my Facebook fan page. They were, of course, another sampling subscription company that caters to beauty lovers. These boxes are nothing new and it seems like new companies are born every few months. The only thing that really pulls customers in are price, since there's so many companies you can choose from nowadays.

As far as price goes, I think that Beauty Hunter certainly has a low price. For the items that were in my box this month, I think it was worth it. There's a variety of items from lipstick to foundation, primers, skin care, and body care. There's even perfume and tea! The brands that they are in partnership with are high end brand names that a lot of people are familiar with. Though the point of the boxes should really be about discovering new brands and even new products never before tested.

I guess I'll get into the items individually and jot down my thoughts....

The Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer is a very good product. Think of it as a middle man between a BB Cream and a foundation primer. It moisturizes, and you can use it alone without foundation because it's got color. I have never tested out this product, but I do own the Laura Mercier Primer, which I love very much.

The Ralph Lauren Spray is probably a product that most Thai women would love, since it is a deluxe sample perfume vial. For me, whom I guess you could call a 'Spoil Brat American', it's something that I would not prefer to see in my sampling box because I can get these for free at any beauty counter or 3 of them online at Sephora.com with every order. I can understand that this is a nice sample because these do cost money in Thailand and are not free at any counter in the malls there. Plus these are good for your makeup bag in your purse.

The Clear-C Effector by Laneige is a booster which I just tried out on the back of my hand and I believe it's a toner. Laneige is a familiar brand to me, but this particular product is my first. It dried pretty quickly, and has a soft floral scent. I think I will like this a lot.

The Tea Tree Oil Blemish Fade Night Lotion from The Body Shop is new to me. Though I hate foil packets, they are very handy when you travel. The Body Shop is one of my favorite stores to shop for body butters so I can't complain to try out their skin care product.

Ahhhh Burberry! I never said it, but I LOVE BURBERRY! I was very happy to see this sample in the first Beauty Hunter box and can't wait to try it! Their lipsticks are rich and creamy and so good quality. Burberry anything is good quality lol :)) I can't wait to try this though.....OMG! 4 colors and a brush, plus 2 packets of their sheer foundation!! I'm SO HAPPY!

Finally, I got 2 items from The Vanilla Shop. I've never heard of this brand and I'm really happy that it was in the box. I like items that are completely new to me so that I can fall in love with them, because that's the whole point of a sampling service. To get people to know about new products and be the first to try them out. I tried out the hand cream and it smells SO NICE. It reminds me of actual peach tea over ice drink. The texture of the lotion is not sticky, nor does it leave a oily residue. It blends in nicely and hydrates my hands. This was a good sample and I love it!

The other item I got was supposedly a gift for the first launched Beauty Hunter box and it's The Vanilla Shop Vanilla Cherry Blossom Ceylon Tea. The cutest part of it all was that this triangular bagged tea came in a small circular tin! SO CUTE!! You can tell that this company took time to think up the architecture of the design and made it into a positive marketing strategy. Maybe a lot of people wouldn't care of the packaging, but for someone like me who prefers packaging sometimes over the product, they've sold me. However, I did some researching online and read about their company. It seems like they are wholesome and provides luxury alternatives to everyday goods such as the simplicity of tea and hand creams.

My overall conclusion with the first month of Beauty Hunter is a raving positive. I do believe that they made a statement with having so many beauty items in this box to attract beauties across Thailand. I know that the Beauty Hunter team will be a success if they continue to grow and offer quality products and guarantee that customers do come first.

In addition, I would also like to thank all of the Beauty Hunter team, and Khun Ticha, for sending me this first month's box for reviewing purposes and I thoroughly enjoyed it personally and as an active beauty blogger.

Korean Makeup Haul from Seoul!

I got these in the mail today and I'm so happy with everything. I specifically gave my husband a shopping list for when he was in Seoul of the make up brands and items I wanted. He did a great job finding everything :)

It only took 8 days for the kit to get to me! My selection date is the 3rd of every month and I always choose on the same day. They shipped this out fast because today is the 11th! So happy!

All of the samples were new except the Mineral Primer from Youngblood, which I had received a few months ago from my Sindulge kit. I got it this time because there was nothing else I had wanted on the selection page.

I am very happy with this month. Everything is very interesting to try. Plus, there are 2 full sized samples! The hair oil and the vita-k. I also love the Beseme. I love cheek and lip tints!

MINI HAUL!

Today I went out and bought a Japanese fashion magazine from Marukai Market. I use to buy these every month but lately I feel like it's a waste of money because these are not cheap. I could buy so much makeup with all the magazines I've been collecting. They are really fun to have and look at, because of all the photos and makeup and prettiness lol.

I chose Ageha this time because I flipped through it and there were a lot of makeup how-tos and makeup items. I am into makeup than fashion, so I tend to choose the magazines with the most makeup features. This magazine retails for 580 Yen, but I paid $10.20 plus tax for it.

I also bought a sweet bath sponge to use to clean my face from Daiso Japan. It was right next door, so I went in to browse.

Oh, the samples you see were free from the market place where I bought the magazine. They're just convenient to have sometimes for travel and you can't carry much :)

OMG I love this look. My eyes are HUGE!

You get away with this look even if you don't use any eyeshadow. It's really simple because all the work is in the lashes. Minus all the layering and lower lashes, you would look bald lol. Mascara can never make magic like this.

I couldn't find the perfect hair style that I liked lol....

Makeup Tutorial

This tutorial is long overdue. Goodness knows how long the NAKED Palette has been out and I'm the last person to buy it lol. It's always this way. I either never find out about something until everyone in the world has it, or I wait until it's on clearance. I don't know why....it's just how it works with me.....lol

Anyway, I wasn't really excited about this palette like everyone else was. Even when it first came out. It's really just a bunch of neutral colors conveniently arranged together in a palette. That happened to be from Urban Decay, one of the most quality brands everyone trusts.

I love Urban Decay, because they really have pigments that are true to pan color. Even without a shadow primer, the colors tend to stick and are as vibrant as in the pans. However, I wasn't really interest in getting either the NAKED nor the NAKED2. As a matter of fact I only bought these two palettes a few weeks ago when I went to IMATS. They were only $30 each, so it's like buying one and get one free. I got it because of that. And ONLY because of that. I could care less for the hype.

So, I finally decided to do a tutorial in honor of these palettes (NAKED2 coming up!). I was really running out of ideas on how to do this too. I wanted to use as many colors from the NAKED as I could, and as creative. There's really nothing special about this look though. But you know what the secret is?.....HAIR, CONTACT LENS, and LIGHTING. Haha! That's really it.

I went in Daiso today and looked around for potential new makeup items. Unfortunately, there were nothing new, just restocks of old stuff that I already had bought months before. I did however, picked up some lower lashes, a tweezer, and gel lip gloss. I also got some snacks, but that's from Marukai Japanese Grocery Store.

Since there were nothing new, I just took this time to snap some photos so that everyone can get a general idea of what they sell there. The store is pink and so pretty. They really set it up where you just want to buy everything lol. Lets just say it's a happy environment to shop in :))

Pretty Pastel Barbie Doll Makeup

Lately I've been on Pinterest just running around and pinning everything! My favorite photos to pin are food and MAKEUP! Especially eye makeup. There's so many pretty photos on there it's like collecting trading cards lol. I feel like I own them almost :)

Anyway, I had seen a photo of this eye makeup and I thought it was soooooo pretty. I pinned it, of course, and I tried the makeup out to see if it would actually work for me. Well, success! Arab Makeup

Hi!

I decided to get creative and did an inspired Arab makeup look. I actually had seen photos of this look on ...I believe on some beauty gurus, I think it was MissChievous and also on Pinterest. Well, I had seen MissChievous' Arab makeup look about 3 years ago and I fell in love. I didn't have the skills or the guts to do it then, but now that I'm fairly familiar with my face I felt confident enough to do it and filmed it so everyone can see how I did it. I hope I did it easy enough so everyone can follow :)

I think that you do need a little bit of practice because this look was no walk in the park. It did take me awhile to do it because of the liner strokes on the lower lid. I think the hardest part was making everything look even. It's so easy to make one side of your eye perfect and the other slightly off.

Ivory Soap For Cleaning Makeup Brushes

Disclaimer: I got the Ivory Soap Bar from my Influenster Mom VoxBox ..a few days ago and just recently tried it out. I was going to use it as a regular soap, but when I went to see how everyone else was using it, I saw that people were using it to clean their make up brushes.

I didn't really want to open it yet because I haven't finished my soap up in my bathroom. But I didn't want to wait much longer though because you have to fill out a survey to qualify for a summer VoxBox. I went ahead and got some make up brushes and just started brushing it against the bar soap.

AND OMG!

All of the makeup came OFF!!! The first one I tried was my foundation brush, which has all that cream and liquid foundation on it. Usually these are the hardest to clean because the liquid clings onto to the brush bristles and I have to use a little bit of olive oil or makeup remover to get everything off before rinsing it over and over with water. As you can see in the photo, i just went back and forth on the bar and the make up came right off. Unbelievable. Maybe I'm late on this but this is a new discovery for me lol. I'm so impressed at how clean my make up brushes were after just a few strokes. I'll never have to dread cleaning my brushes again if it's this easy!

After I rinsed it with running water, I could feel the cleanliness by hearing a squeak sound when I touch the brush bristles. It was a bit try, but I think I like it like that because I know it's 100% clean. I'm in love. I think I'll do a video on it in the future!

In addition to cleaning makeup brushes, you can also use this to wash and clean stains off of your clothes. You can flake the soap using a butter knife and use it as laundry detergent. It's so useful! I haven't tried this out yet, but I will soon!

...and of course, you can use this as your regular soap for your body :)
