I spent a few weeks in Florida earlier this year and while I was there, a handful of friends came down to visit me in Panama City Beach. Two of those adventurers were my dear friends Abigail Wate & Morgan McCollum. I couldn’t have asked for more of a fun or more of a sweet-hearted little duo to explore Florida with me.

We got ice cream at Pier Park, took photos on Panama City Beach, ventured over to Seaside, FL for awhile, dined on some amazing food, spent a morning on the pier looking into the Gulf of Mexico, took in a few sunsets, and even watched Abigail dig giant holes in the sand. It was all pretty perfect, especially considering that it was much colder back home in Nashville! There’s a great chance I may make this a yearly trip, which for once in my life, makes me excited about Winter.

One of those mornings, we had a beach day shoot and ended up with a bunch of photos. The only photo we didn’t end up with was one of all of us together. We hope you love these!

Kyle Weber & Bailey Jehl at Belmont University

I first met Bailey Jehl a couple years back at a last-minute group dinner with some friends at BurgerUP in Nashville.

I can’t remember how many minutes after being introduced to Bailey that I decided in my head, “Well, I should probably tell her that I love her voice and I own one of her EPs! That won’t be weird, right?” It wasn’t at all; I could tell that she genuinely appreciates her supporters.

Her voice possesses some sort of magical quality that you just need to hear for yourself. I remember the first time I heard one of Bailey’s songs; @HeyThereSam broke out her phone, connected my AUX cord to it and said, “Kyle, you’ve got to hear my friend Bailey sing!” Within 25 seconds of her song “Kerosene,” I pulled out my phone to Shazam that bad boy. Later that day, I bought her entire EP.

Since then, Bailey & I have become great friends! Some of my favorite memories, parties, or even lunches over the last couple of years include her. I can’t imagine Nashville without her!

What is something you miss from TX that Nashville needs?
Definitely Tex Mex. Specifically Torchy’s Tacos. The Mexican food here is good but NOTHING compared to the Texmex in Dallas.

When was the first time you sang in front of a group of people?
I think the first time I REALLY sang in front of a big group was when I led worship for the first time my junior year of high school.

Definitely “Wildest Dreams”

From your original songs, which one reminds you that you are meant for a lifetime of music?
I’m proud of the music I’ve released this far. However, I feel like my unreleased stuff is my best. I’ll be releasing new music in the spring. I have 3 singles radio ready, and I’m super happy with how they came out. Excited to see what the reaction is

What happened the last time you cried because you were so happy?
I think it was when I made it through the executive audition for The Voice a little over a year ago.

What male singing voice can just make you melt? (Fingers Crossed for Meatloaf)
That’s hard! Whenever I hear Chris Martin’s of Coldplay, I automatically get chills. For some reason, I’ve always loved his voice so much. But I have to say the best male singer I’ve ever heard is Jordan Smith, winner of The Voice a couple seasons ago. SO talented.

What is your favorite thing to do outside on a beautiful day in Nashville?
Get Las Paletas & walk 12 South with friends.

What kind of dinosaur would you want to have as a pet?
Lol. TREX DUH

What advice do you have for current Belmont University Students?
Stay focused on your dream. It’s so easy to get caught up with finding the absolute perfect major, so it’s easy to keep switching. Pray about what your ultimate goal is and then choose your major accordingly. I changed my major 3 times and wasted a lot of time doing so.

Where do I even begin when it comes to Samantha Coyle of HeyThereSam.com?

Sam holds the title of being my first official Nashville friend! She’s like a sister to me! Since many of us are living here in Music City without our intermediate fams around, it means that much more to have someone in my life who cares about me like a sister would… and that she does!

Sam creates social content so beautifully, she makes jokes that actually make me laugh, she writes, she sings, she schedules more coffee meetings than you’d believe, she loves people, and she’s a talented model on The Block Agency. I feel very blessed to have such a talented friend!

If you could only wear one style of outfit for the rest of the year, what would it be?
Boyfriend casual all day every day. I love jeans and a good tee or a flannel paired with some leather booties.

What inspired you to get into Fashion/Lifestyle Blogging?
The fashion industry from the outside looking in can be extremely intimidating and “out there”. I wanted to show women that fashion is approachable and whatever you want it to be. There are no rules and that’s what makes it so much fun!

What is the main motivating factor driving you to make things happen in your professional life?
I just love inspiring others to become whatever they want to be and to see themselves how The Lord sees them. At the end of the day it’s not about me, it’s about everyone watching me and how I can help them.

What is the best concert you’ve seen in Nashville?
Hands down the 1975. They are/were incredible to see live.

What is the most attractive outfit/style for a guy to wear?
I love when a guy looks put together, but that doesn’t necessarily mean a suit. Clean cut and chic is the way to go. A watch, rolled jeans and nice boots go a long way.

What is your favorite brand for accessories?
If we’re talking Jewelry, I’m all about minimal and dainty. My go to right now is Consider the Wldflwrs (shout out to Nashville).
If we’re talking about Hats, easily Lack of Color.
If we’re talking Bags, gotta give a shout out to my friends at Fashionable.

What is one thing people may not know about you?
I have never belched before. I physically can’t do it. Random, good probably, but true.

Favorite spot to get food & drinks with friends in Nashville?
You can catch me at bartaco at least three times a week, the managers know me by name, it’s a problem. My absolute favorite restaurant right now though: Butchertown Hall.

If you had to choose between living on a farm of baby foxes or baby goats, which would you choose & why?
Neither. I grew up in a farm town my whole life. Send me back to the city!

What is something you’re committed to improving in your life this year?
Making others feel more loved and valuable.

Who in your life continually encourages you?
A lot of people, but the first that comes to mind is my boss. She is the kindest, most encouraging, fun-loving, and light hearted person I have ever met.

What’s better – M&M’s or Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups?
Easy. Reese’s!

We all know you’re a coffeeshop pro, which is your favorite in Nashville?
More like addict… That’s hard to choose but right now I’m loving Killebrew, the new coffee shop connected to the Thompson hotel. Try the turmeric chai latte, I promise it does not disappoint!

What is the perfect date night for a first date?
I love surprises. Not so predictable, thoughtful and well planned. Dinner is a must because, well, food is first love. I don’t think there’s any “perfect date” or even a “perfect formula” for dating in general.

If the people closest to you could only use one word to describe you, what word would you hope they’d say?
Steadfast.

What’s your spirit animal?
Can it be pizza?

My favorite verse in the bible is Galatians 5:22-23: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
