Hi my lovelies,
I recently purchased the Coastal Scents 36 Smokey Palette, it contains 36 different shadows that are mostly matte and frost finishes.. I noticed that the frost eyeshadows in this palette apply more smoothly and are more pigmented than the matte shadows You can get it from Coastal Scents for $22.95.

This is such a fun palette, but it is so hard to open, have to really put in some serious strength just to get it to open.

Each eyeshadow pan is the size of a nickel.

This is the look I came up with using the palette :)

Review: Hello Kitty for Sephora Brush Set

The Hello Kitty Brush Set arrived in the cutest packaging I’ve ever seen. Everything was metallic silver and pink, adorned with Hello Kitty’s signature and face.

Comes with five brushes:
- Face Brush
- Eyeshadow Brush
- Shader/Blending Brush
- Angled Eyeliner Brush
- Lip Brush

Im a huge hello kitty fanatic and have been for years, As soon as I saw it, I knew it was going to be love at first sight. I also think that this set is cute enough for non-Hello Kitty lovers…such as those of us who are suckers for cute things.

First Impressions

Packaging(5/5) - I love it!!! it is super cute, any Hello Kitty fan would appreciate it. Anyways, It is made out of metallic silver plastic all over, kind of hard to keep clean since it is easily get dirty with fingerprints. Nonetheless, this container is really adorable and would look pretty sitting on anyone's vanity, It's not huge and it's not small, it's a great size. The head doesn't lock so you have to handle the container carefully or else it can falls off if you pick it up, but this could be because of easy quick access reason, I wouldn't want to unlock it every time i want to use it right?.

Brushes(4/5) - The brushes themselves are really cute. They all say Hello Kitty on the handles, and have the name of each brush on the other side. The bristles are white synthetic with pink tips, and surprisingly soft to the touch.
Price(3/5) - Even for myself i think it is quite expensive. But I do believe you are truly paying for the packaging, no doubt about that. I know die hard Hello Kitty Fans/Collectors will love this. But for someone who is just looking for a great quality travel brush set, this would not be worth $50.

If you looking for great quality brushes to use everyday then skip this one. But If you're a Hello Kitty Collector/lover then I would definitely recommend buying this, it's a nice collector item to have. The brushes quality are good, they are not the best and not the worst either, It's great for traveling. All of the eye brushes work well with packing on color and blending. The face brush I feel is a little small to be a face brush, so I used it as a blush brush and it works perfectly.

Wow,a whole month? I can't believe it's been that long since I posted here! I certainly hadn't intended to neglect my blog for so long, I feel so guilty, you have absolutely no idea, but I've finally come around to do what I love again, Double points to that haha, however, I have some catching up to do, as you can see this entry was supposed to be
posted a month ago, and now it is time to relieve my quit I've been having over not properly blogging.
Even since I came back from Japan, I was overly obsessed with anything furry ( faux fur by the way) I blamed Japan for making me that way because I seriously saw every store selling furry things, as a result when I found out about Spirit hoods, I knew I have to get one. This is where the boyfriend came in and said " hey I'd get it for you for Christmas", mouth dropped open. I'm so thankful, Thank you love :).

I got a lot of bras that will last me at least for the whole year. So I'm not allow to buy any more bras. Lol Also I got some sweaters, 1 sweat pant, and a couple of Pj's.

So far so good, for getting organized, I totally rearranged and uncluttered my closet.

Early Christmas presents +NOTD

I finally did my nails yesterday. It's been forever since i last painted my nails, I just didn't have the time to go get the Seche Vite top coat, I can say now that it is my favorite top coat ever, without it I literally can't do my nails. I find that with other top coats, i have to wait so so long for it to dry and I dislike waiting for anything ha-ha. I don't think i did a great job on painting those snowflakes, I think they kind of looked demented, while trying to do snow on the tip of the nails, i think i failed too. Anyhow, I think they looked pretty good from far far away lol.

My little cousin Veronica gave me an early present too, because she is going to California for Christmas this year. She is s so sweet, she got/made me all these things for Christmas. I loved it all, hand made things are the best.

My early Christmas present from my best friend Tearry, she got me these mineral eye shadows from Bella Terra in Sand, Baby Doll, and seashell. These eye shadows are so cool, it can transform into 8 different products: creamy Shadow, matte Shadow, eye liner, lip color, nail polish, body shimmer, mascara, and hair streaks.

How are you all doing? ^_^
Anyways, I was at T.J. Maxx a couple days ago and while browsing through the beauty shelves, I found OPI nail polishes. Sadly, they only have a couple of colors, not much of a selection, but the price is quite reasonable, 2 nail polishes for $7.99, so it is like $4 a bottle.

I picked up 4 nail polishes, Brand New Skates, Just Teasing, Mod Hatter, and Sea Ya later Sailor. These nail polishes are super sheer, one coat isn't enough to get the color to show up on nails at all.

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to do a quick post on Thanksgiving day. I hope everyone had fun and ate tons of food. I had an awesome Thanksgiving this year. Usually my family don't really celebrate Thanksgiving, so we went out to a Chinese restaurant instead. However, My boyfriend's family invited me to their house for Thanksgiving dinner and that was super fun. After we waited until 3am to go shopping, we went to the mall, got some stuffs. Then we went to Bestbuy and it was so insane haha so many people were there. Then we went to Nordstrom Rack, I stayed up until 10am in the morning. Lol never again. haha

The Disney Bear, Duffy and shellie May.

What is Disney Bear???....O_0

Before I went to Japan, I had no idea about Disney bears, I had never even saw or heard of this. However, when I was in Tokyo Disneyland Resort, I saw every single Japanese person has Duffy and Shellie May. I thought It was so strange. Until I found out about the cute story behind it all.

If you don’t know Duffy , here’s a little info. He was hand-sewn by Minnie Mouse as a gift to Mickey. Duffy, dressed like a sailor, was designed to be Mickey’s companion during his travels.

The Story:

"You see, awhile ago, Mickey was about to set sail on an adventure to visit friends around the world. Minnie made a special gift to keep Mickey company and she presented it to Mickey in a duffle bag. Mickey, delighted with his gift, pulled out the gift, a very special bear, and named him Duffy. Mickey and Duffy embarked on many special voyages and Duffy got to meet all of Mickey’s friends. Each time they returned home, Mickey and Duffy would share their stories and photos with Minnie. While on their travels, Duffy and Mickey landed at Tokyo Disney Sea, where they have been meeting and greeting fans for the past few years."

Duffy, the Disney Bear has become something of a fan phenomenon in Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea theme parks. Duffy is not just your typical stuffed bear. He’s Mickey’s bear and he resembles his owner. Duffy’s face is shaped like Mickey’s, he has Mickey heads on his paws, and he has a very unique birthmark on his hip.

Shellie May

Tokyo Disney recently unveiled a new friend for Duffy on January 22nd, 2010, a female teddy bear named "Shellie May." There are "Mickey marks" on her as well, just like Duffy. Her "birthmark" on her backside is on the opposite side from Duffy's, but the paws, and face are very similar to his. She also has beautiful blue eyes, and a bow on her head. They introduced her with a mini-storybook, but her story was very basic.

The story:
Minnie makes a friend for Duffy.
She finishes sewing her.
Minnie presents the new friend to Duffy.
He's embarrassed about taking the gift that this new friend is holding, a box of chocolates.
Standing in front of Duffy is a female bear wearing a charming heart-shaped shell pendant.
Duffy says "Nice to meet you, Shellie May".

That's the story, very short. Anyways, hopefully they will come up with a better story for Shellie May soon. Honestly, I don't think Duffy is that cute in person. On the other hand, Shellie May, I love. (^_^) I think you can only get her in Tokyo Disney Sea. So if you are going to visit Tokyo Disneyland, one of the souvenir you should get, should definitely be Duffy and Shellie May :]

Hello my loves,

So guys, as some of you may already know, I was in Japan from October 26th to November 2nd. But I'm Finally back Yay! My apology for taking so long to make a post about this. It's just you know, when you left to go somewhere for a while and after you came back, your life is a little bit hectic and I was trying to get back on with my normal routine again.

Anyways, Japan is such an amazing place, I had the best time there, even though I only get to spent 5 days there. For the first 3 days, my family there took me to Tokyo Disney resort. The 4th day, we went shopping. The 5th day, we went to Nara park.

Everything in Japan is so high tech, the toilets, the road, etc. Also, people drive on the left side of the road and everyone there is so polite, all you hear is thank you and excuse me all day long haha. When it comes down to shopping, well you better bring a lot of money with you, everything there is so Expensive. Other than that, Japan is a great place to visit.

how are you today?
My day is quite boring since I don't have school because it is fall break, already? i know right, time flies. However, I thought I should do something productive so I did my nails :). I wanted to try this gradient nails technique that I learned from Frmheadtotoe. Here is my take on it. I hope you guys like it?

What I used: China Glaze (white on white), Sally Hansen Xtreme wear (Lime Lights), Wet&wild (Bijou Blue), China Glaze (Sex in the City), and China Glaze ( tempest)

Sally Hansen (hidden Treasure), China Glaze ( shooting Star), and Seche Vite Top Coat.
