Epilogue

The Zillo Beast (Malastare)

How many RTS levels have you done now? You should know the basics of these levels by now, but if you don’t:

Please refer to the “RTS – Real-Time Strategy Levels” section near the end of this walkthrough for everything you need to know about this kind of level.

Objective

To build a target for a super-bomb on the gold pad of the central enemy base.

Strategy

Again, by now you should just dive into this and have fun. But, if you want a little advice, here goes.

The variety of enemy structures runs the gamut from silver to gold to Ray Shields and everything in-between. The most effective and fun attack, in my estimation, is to build a Torpedo Generator and then use a Speeder Bike to quickly take out bases. Of course, in order to get the Torpedo Generator build option, you’ll need to take over at least four bases.

NW Base

To help you in that quest, you should start with an easy base. Try the NW one as it only has a barracks and cannon (neither one gold nor silver). Use a Speeder and/or a Jedi to take this base, or, take over its cannon and use it to destroy the barracks and then take out the cannon.

Now that you have this base, use the Build Menu to build: Air Support >> RX-200 Tank. This tank can take out gold structures and generally annihilate anything else with ease. Go ahead and build a cannon here for good measure.

Note, if you are in need of studs, be sure that you collect all of the studs when you destroy a structure. You can also hop in a Speeder and fly around shooting rocks. If you have any stud multipliers or the stud magnet (and you should!) be sure to have those activted in the Extras Menu.

NE Base

Hop in your RX-200 (doesn’t Lexus make that tank?) and head to the NE base. It is another easy one to take. Do so and build whatever you like. I recommend a Blaster Clone Barracks and a Small Air Support >> AT-RT, both pretty cheap.

SE Base

Another easy base to take, it only has a barracks on it. Build a Shield Generator and a Cannon on it.

SW Base

Yet another easy one. It only has a cannon on it. Yay! You can now build a Torpedo Generator! Do so and also build a shield to protect it.

See “Torpedo Generators” in the “Build Menu” section of the “RTS – Real-Time Strategy Levels” explanation for why torpedoes are so cool.

Deactivate the two Dome Shields

Two of the bases have a pink dome shield on them. Run in and shut them off.

Torpedoes Away!

Hop on a Speeder and fly through the torpedo generator. You’ll grab one torpedo. Fly to nearest enemy base and fire it at the power core. You’ll see one of the structures instantly destroyed! Be sure to zoom by and pick up all of those studs! Repeat until all the structures on a base are toast. Then, build whatever you want.

Keep up this strategy and feel free to build another torpedo generator in a more convenient place so that you don’t have to keep flying back to the same one.

Build the Super-Bomb Target

When all of the bases are yours, go to the central base and build on the gold pad. You’ll get a cutscene.

Defeat the Zillo Beast

Holy sand beast! The super-bomb has awoken an ancient creature, the Zillo. He has a gold neck. You need to shoot it with an RX-200. First, though, you need to build cannons on three of the four bases (all of the bases are in a horizontal line…there is no map, so just letting you know) in order to unlock the Air Support feature on the fourth base.

When you get the option, build the Air Support >> RX-200 and hop in. Note, if you need studs, the Zillo will throw debris at you which you can scoop up. It’s best to do this on a speeder as it’s faster.

Keep building tanks! Build at least four and then hop in one of them. Target the beast’s gold neck and you’ll see your fellow tanks join in. When debris is thrown at you, aim at it to ward it off before it hits you. Keep this up until the beast is defeated.

If the game is telling you that you need more tanks, listen. It means you haven’t build enough or one or more has been destroyed.

Note, maybe I wasn’t paying attention the first time I beat it, but I swear he just went down and the level ended. The second time I beat him in Story Mode, I got a funny baby pacifier, mobile, bottle routine. Just thought I’d share.

CONGRATS! That’s it for the main story missions. There is still so much to do, though. You better go explore the Hubs, gather mini-kits and red bricks, and check out the separatist missions.

Hubs

Battleship Resolute

Command Consoles

You start in the Bridge of the Resolute. Here you’ll find a Command Console (the circular holograph structure) where you can select missions, systems, characters, and later, arcade mode and the two Real Time Strategy Assault modes (Republic and Separatist).

Learning the Layout

I’ll be referring to a variety of rooms for the Red Brick section, so you may as well get to know the Resolute pretty well. Know that certain areas are only available after you’ve earned a certain number of Gold Bricks. The game will show you how many you need for each area. Just keep playing Story Missions and collecting Minikits to earn those Gold Bricks!

Bridge

This is the first area you’re in and effectively functions as a dead end. There is a Command Console here.

Reactor Chamber

Earn three gold bricks and then take the elevator down from the bridge and you’ll end up here. It’s the large open room with the two circular platforms (north and south) and pathways off of each side. Think of this area as the central place on the ship, the hub of the hub, so to speak.

Brig – (SE Reactor Chamber >> Brig)

Take the SE path from the Reactor Chamber here. You’ll find jail cells.

Superkit Hangar – (SE Reactor Chamber >> Brig >> Superkit Hangar)

Take the elevator on the right of the Brig to get here. What is a superkit, you may ask? Well, earn all 130 Gold Bricks and build the super secret ship (aka, superkit) to find out.

Turret Laser Room – (SE Reactor Chamber >> Brig >> Superkit Hangar >> Turret Laser Room)

Head to the left side of the Superkit Hangar and take the elevator up to get here. You can hop into either turret laser gun to shoot enemy ships and earn some studs, or not.

Medical Bay, aka, Sick Bay – (SW Reactor Chamber >> Medical Bay)

You’ll need six Gold Bricks to access the SW path off of the Reactor Chamber. Once you have them, you can access the Medical Bay where you can create two custom characters. The more characters you unlock during gameplay, the more options you have here.

Minikit Character Room – (SW Reactor Chamber >> Medical Bay >> Minikit Character Room)

Here you’ll find hibernation tanks where you can select and buy characters that you’ve earned by collecting minikits. In order to make a complete character to unlock and purchase here, you must collect all 10 minikits from any level (prologue, all 18 story levels, epilogue, 2 separatist levels).

Hangar Overlook (NW Reactor Chamber >> Hangar Overlook)

Once you earn 10 Gold Bricks you can access the NE path off of the Reactor Chamber. This is essentially a “T” shaped pathway. You can access the left path now and the right paht will take 15 Gold Bricks.

Hangar (NW Reactor Chamber >> West Hangar Overlook >> Hangar)

Welcome to the Hangar where you can purchase ships, leave the Resolute and generally begin to feel overwhelmed with the amount and variety of things to do. Eek!

Republic Assault (NW Reactor Chamber >> East Hangar Overlook >> Republic Assault)

Once you have 15 Gold Bricks you can access the right elevator off of the Hangar Overlook (the “T” shaped balcony/path). This gives you access to a Challenge area: Republic Assault. To unlock it, go to the orange pad and select a vehicle with explosive capabilities. Hop in and blast the silver force field gate. You now have access to a Command Console where you get the Republic Assault option! w00t!

Note also, that you can now select Republic Assault from any Command Console.

Red Power Bricks

Unlike previous LEGO games where you’d find Red Bricks in the main story and then purchase them at your Hub or Home Base, in this game, there are 12 Red Power Bricks in the Battleship Resolute itself. When you find each of them, you can purchase them right then and there.

If you are looking to use a particular character (for example, you need a Protocol Droid) remember that you can use any Selection Console >> Characters to choose whoever you want to be.

Remember, after you buy a Red Brick you must “enable” it from Extras in the Pause menu.

Red Power Brick 3 – Fast Build (500,000) – Makes you build super fast.
In the turret laser room. To get there from the reactor chamber, take the SE path to the brig, then tothe superkit hangar, and then to this room. Once inside, you’ll find a punching bag. Use a Jedi and attack it until you see the count on the wall next to it get up to “5″. The brick will pop out.

The Invisible Hand

This hub is another ship. To get to it, head to the hangar of The Resolute and fly any ship out of it. Once you’re airborne, head right until you see a large cruiser. A side hangar bay door will open when you’re near it. Press the Switch Character button when prompted to land.

Buying your First Bounty Hunter – Cad Bane

One of the main reasons you’ll want to visit The Invisible Hand is to purchase your very first Bounty Hunter, without whom you can’t get all of the Minikits in the various story chapters.

Upon landing in The Invisible Hand for the first time, hop out (you’re in the hangar) and attack any nearby characters until you have the button prompt to buy them. One of them will be Cad Bane and he’ll cost you 250,000. Congrats! You can now operate Bounty Hunter Panels.

Buying your First Sith – Count Dooku

One of the main reasons you’ll want to visit The Invisible Hand is to purchase your very first Sith, without whom you can’t get all of the Minikits in the various story chapters.

Upon landing in The Invisible Hand for the first time, hop out (you’re in the hangar) and attack any nearby characters until you have the button prompt to buy them. One of them will be Count Dooku and he’ll cost you 250,000. Congrats! You now have a character with the Dark Force power of the Sith. You can use red sparkly, aka, Sith Force, objects in the story levels (you also have force lightning which is a pretty darn useful attack).

Red Power Bricks

Unlike previous LEGO games where you’d find Red Bricks in the main story and then purchase them at your Hub or Home Base, in this game, there are 6 Red Power Bricks in The Invisible Hand itself. When you find each of them, you can purchase them right then and there.

Red Power Brick 1 – Perfect Deflect (100,000) – Jedi and Sith automatically deflect blaster fire.
Found in the Hangar. Go to the left vehicle selection pad and choose an Ice Cream Van. Head right in it and drive over to the right side (raise either bridge on the right if you haven’t already). Drive onto the orange pad and the door will open. Blast the silver urn (remember, Cad Bane has explosive bombs) and grab buy the red brick.

Red Power Brick 2 – Dark Side (150,000) – Jedis can now use Dark Force on red sparkly objects.
On the bridge. Use a sith (Count Dooku). To get there, from the hangar, head to the left side and use the elevator to go up. You’ll exit in the bridge. Go up to the mission select console and look up. Use Dark Force on the right side hanging monitor. It’ll spin around and drop the brick for you.

Separatist Missions

About These Missions

And you thought you were done! Well, you’re not. Doing the Separatist Missions is important because, well, they’re missions just like any other and earn you gold bricks and they contain minikits. In addition, playing the first Separatist Mission will unlock Robonino, a Bounty Hunter with the “charge” ability that you’ll need to access Charge Panels in order to find minikits in other chapters. What’s more, you’ll unlock Aurra Sing, another bounty hunter, who has a sniper rifle. Got all that?

Getting to the First Separatist Mission

Separatist Missions are found on The Invisible Hand (a Hub ship). For full details, please see “Hubs >> The Invisible Hand”. But, if you just want to know how to get to The Invisible Hand…

…head to the hangar of The Resolute and fly any ship out of it. Once you’re airborne, head right until you see a large cruiser. A side hangar bay door will open when you’re near it. Press the Switch Character button when prompted to land.

If it’s your first time in The Invisible Hand’s hangar then you’re going to need to lift a bridge and buy Cad Bane, the Bounty Hunter. First, switch to a Jedi or Sith (you can buy Count Dooku in the hangar if you need a Sith) and head to the left side of the hangar, on the edge of the electrically charged gap. Place yourself so that you can see the red brick floating and the yellow canisters on the other side. Now, slowly and carefully work your way along the ledge until you see a Force Glow on an object in the gap. This is the bridge you need to lift. Use Force to do it and you can now cross over!

If you haven’t yet, attack and defeat Cad Bane, who is in the hangar, and buy him. You’ll need him to access the panel on the left wall (which you can now get to thanks to the bridge you raised). It’s south of the elevator on the left.

Use it and go through to finally be able to access these missions! Just use the console to load up the missions like you do for any other mission.

Chapter 1 – Hostage Crisis (Coruscant)

Hey look, it’s Jabba’s brother, Ziro the Hutt. Well, I’m not sure of the lineage but why not? Yes, you and a ragtag bunch of bounty hunters have been hired to free Ziro.

Snipe 11 Soldiers

When you start, you’ll be in control of Aurra Sing who has a sniper rifle. Press and hold the Attack button to zoom in and then locate a soldier (blue lock on). Release to fire. Not all of the soldiers are in one area, though. You’ll need to switch characters to HELIOS-3D who is driving the ship. You can then move the ship left and right to get better angles on all of the soldiers. When all are toast, you’ll land.

Get Inside

Attack the soldiers as you move forward. When you get to the door, look to both sides to find a silver object on the wall. Throw a bomb (Force/Grapple button for characters with bombs) at each of the objects to destroy them. Note, that you don’t have to wait for your bomb to explode, you can detonate it when you want by pressing the bomb button again.

Build each pile of LEGOs into a Charge Panel on the left and a Soldier Panel on the right. Switch to Robonino and use the Charge Panel (press and hold the button shown to you). This will charge up the panel on the right. You need a solider’s helmet to activate it. Take out any soldiers in the area and wait for the next round to emerge. Take them out and one will drop a helmet. Put it on and use the panel. The door will open.

Red Pipes and Bunk Beds

Go through the door, attack soldiers, and grab another helmet. Use it on the Soldier Panel in front of you to open the next door (feel free to explore for studs). Enter, take out the soldiers, and then destroy everything in the room. Use bombs to make it easier. Repair the red pipes from the pieces on the ground.

What’s that? You are missing some red pipe pieces? Have you hopped on the two bunk beds? On the side of each bunk bed is bounce pad. Jump on it and HOLD the jump button to bounce. Land on the top bunk of a bed and HOLD the jump button to bounce on it, thus revealing more red pipes. Repeat for the other bed and you’ll be all set.

When the pipes are repaired, you’ll see the blue energy flow. Follow the blue energy out and into the hallway to another Soldier Panel. Use it. Note, if you are in need of a helmet, go back to the previous room and bomb the left barred door to make several pop out.

Four Block Puzzle

In this room, use bombs to destroy everything and then build the four blocks from the pieces. You now have to push each block into the wall. Do this quickly or the blocks will reset. The energy will flow. Follow it to another Soldier Panel.

Power Control Room

Use this Soldier Panel and enter the power control room. Eliminate the soldiers and then use Robonino on the Charge Panel on the right to repair the checkered floor. Push the battery pack along the path and it’ll lock in to place. The central platform will lift up, give you a bit of a disco show, and then line up with the colored panels to open the door for you. Head through to end the level.

Getting to “Castle of Doom”

If you’ve gotten this far, then you already know about The Invisible Hand. To unlock this level, start in the hangar of The Invisible Hand. Head right and use a Jedi or Sith to raise the purple bridge to get over the gap (just like you did for the left bridge to get to the “Hostage Crisis” mission). Or, use an Astromech Droid (R3-S6) on the Astromech Panel on the right to raise a green bridge.

Either way, cross over to the right side of the hangar and build the gold bricks (you’ll need 30 Gold Bricks to access this area). If you don’t have 30 gold bricks, start Free Playing missions to earn True Jedi Status and to get all of the Minikits.

Once you can access the Observation Deck (as I call it), go up to the mission select console on the right and choose, “Castle of Doom.”

Chapter 2 – Castle of Doom (Tatooine)

Get to the Mess Hall

You begin play with Count Dooku and a MagnaGuard in Jabba the Hutt’s lair. Head right, take out any Gamorreans (Pig Guards) you find and then destroy the LEGO cones on either side of the right door. Build them into a Charge Panel and have MagnaGuard use it to open the door. Go through.

Build a Hamburger

Defeat each round of Gamorreans (Pig Guards) and move the bun, filling, and top bun of the hamburger in to place on the purple table. Try to build it on the left side of the purple table. Switch to MagnaGuard and hop onto the hamburger. Use the Charge Panel that is now accessible to open the door. Go through.

Repair and Set Sail in the Sail Barge

Head forward and pull the lever on the right to activate the Charge Panel on the right. Use the Charge Panel as the MagnaGaurd to create a Desert Skiff that crashes. Build the pieces to repair the side of the Sail Barge.

Destroy the pieces on the saw horses next to the Sail Barge and build them to repair another section of its side.

Finally, use Dooku’s saber toss to cut down the cage. Move it along the checkered floor. At the end it’ll break open. Build the pieces to repair the final section of the Sail Barge.

Hop in to the Sail Barge and pilot it out of the hangar, crashing through any obstacle.

Build Two Vehicles

When you start back up, you’ll be outside on foot. As Dooku, head up the ramp of the LEGO pieces and use the blue Jedi Symbol to cut a hole in the wall. Build the resulting pieces into a speeder.

Before you hop in and get all speeder-happy, head right and then look north to find the rock outcropping with all of the LEGO pieces on top of it. Do several saber slams (ground pounds) to knock the pieces loose and then build a Desert Skiff from them.

Nice! You now have two vehicles!

Open the Gate

Head right to the gate/wall and attack the rocks near the purple pad to make them fall. Stack two of the three rocks so that MagnaGuard can jump up to the top of the wall.

Once atop the wall, head right and activate the Charge Panel to reveal two orange pads.

Because you are awesome and have followed this walkthrough, you have two vehicles. Hop into each one and park it on the orange pads. The gate will open.

Defeat Ahsoka and Anakin

Cruise the dunes until you find the crashed starship. Attack the side of it to reveal a Charge Panel. Use MagnaGuard to activate it. The left of the ship will now glow red. Use Dooku to open the back of the ship with Dark Force. Out pops Ahsoka and Anakin.

Attack Ahsoka until she drops her lightsaber. Use Force to pull it to you and then attack Anakin until Ahsoka reclaims her saber. Repeat this process until they are defeated.

Chapter 1 – The Hidden Enemy (Christophsis)

Getting to the Roof

You begin play with Anakin and a Clone Trooper. As Anakin, go up to the blue Jedi Symbol and step on it. Push the prompted button and then press and hold the Force button to shatter the window. Don’t go through. Instead, switch to the Clone Trooper, go up to the window, and you’ll see a Grapple Point and target. Grapple it and you’ll zip across the gap.

On the other side a gondola will go up to Anakin. Switch to Anakin, hop on and ride it across. In this second area, feel free to take on some enemies who are coming out the door. If you’d like to seal the door, use Force on the top of the door and push down on your control stick to move the door down. When you’re ready to move on, use the Force on the green-glowing power plug by pressing and HOLDING the Force button. While holding it, move it to the left and plug it into the red glowing part of the door. This gives power to the door and it’ll open. Go through to the next room.

Note: At this point you’ve gained the ability to use Obi-Wan, as well.

In this room you’ll find another door you can seal, the one on the left. Do so and then hop onto the missile turret in the middle of the room. Fire it as you move around in a circle…this is nothing more than pure fun. When you’re satisfied, hop off and unplug the power cord going to the missile turret. Use Force on the turret and aim so that you throw it into the right side door. With both doors sealed, a central elevator will open. Hop in and wait for the others to join you. The elevator will go up.

You are now on the roof and there are a ton of droids. Do your best to ignore them as you work your way to the center of the area. Be on the lookout for two crates (they sort of look like mail drop-off boxes). One is NW of the central platform. The other is SE. Both are only a few steps away from the central platform. When you see one, attack it to destroy it. Build the resulting pieces into a missile turret. Hop on the turret and have at it…repeatedly fire missiles at any and everything you see. The goal, of course, is to hit the two large anti-air turrets on either side (destroy the generators near them, too). When they are destroyed, the Republic Gunship will land and its door will open.

Go up to it and attempt to use the panel that is revealed. You’ll be told that you need a droid’s head. Conveniently, there should be one lying around. It will be on the ground and there will be a red arrow over it. When you see it, tap the Force button (you’ll be shown the correct button) to put the droid head on. Now wearing it, go up to the panel and hit the prompted button. You’ll automatically fly away in the ship.

Fighting Asajj

You begin in a new area. In this room you need to use the Force to move each of the five blue wall panels into their matching purple places surrounding the door. To get you started, locate the blue wall panel that is on the floor. Press and hold the Force button. With the panel floating, move your control stick so that the blue piece locks into place on its corresponding purple piece above the door. Repeat this procedure for each of the other four blue wall panels…all found on the walls to the left and right of the door. When all five pieces are placed, the door will open.

Go through the door and you’ll have to do battle with Asajj. The game tells you that you can knock out one of her lightsabers by doing a jump attack (Jump and hit the Attack button while in the air). If you pound down next to her, she’ll lose a lightsaber. You can then pick it up (use Force) and dual-wield! Attack her while you have two lightsabers and you can do one-heart of damage to her. Repeat this process to take out all four of her hearts.

Rats! After four hearts are gone, she gets another three. She then picks up some vases and starts throwing them at you. While they are in the air, press and HOLD the Force button to stop their momentum and throw them back at her. Do this three times and she’ll hop up the left stairs, gain three more hearts, and throw some pipes at you. Repeat the process of using Force to stop them and throw them back at her. Finally, she’ll hop up the right stairs. Repeat.

After all of that, she runs away and you’ll see a blue Jedi Symbol on the floor. Step on it and use the button shown. You will then need to move your control stick in a circular motion so as to carve out a circle in the door. Go through.

You are now in the library and have to fight Asajj a little more. Use the same technique as the first part of the fight, that is, do a Jump Attack (ground pound), knock out her lightsaber, use Force to grab it, attack her for one-heart of damage and repeat.

Once again, she escapes. Follow her down the hallway. Egad, it collapses! She begins throwing platforms at you. Note the bottom of them is purple. Also note that there are three purple sockets in the wall under her where you can attach each of the platforms. Brilliant! Use Force to direct each platform into one of the three slots so that you have a way to jump up to her. Follow her.

Defeat the Tri-Droid

Holy droid! This large blue droid is pretty tough. His main attack is a red laser beam. You need to target a lightsaber throw at it (and then repeat). You’ve done this before, but just in case you lost your memory, press and HOLD the Attack/Lightsaber button. You’ll see a blue spinning crosshair. Move it over the red light where the laser beam originates. You don’t really get a firm lock-on, but just make sure you are aiming it and let go. The saber will fly and hit it. Repeat this for each of its three beams.

Now that its main attack is toast, it’ll become stomping its legs, which causes a shockwave. Jump over the shockwaves and attack a leg repeatedly with your lightsaber until a blue Jedi Symbol appears. When it does, do your thing to watch a sequence of you destroying the leg. Repeat this for the other leg. If you happen to miss a Jedi Symbol opportunity, the laser beam will come back online…you know how to defeat it.

Okay, okay…finally on to the last part of this battle. Run toward the droid and jump at it (or just wait around until this happens) and you’ll be on the falling droid. Asajj is there and don’t worry, there is no time limit. To defeat her, use Force to throw back the objects at her. When you hit her, note that her heart meter turns from silver to red. When it’s red, jump/float toward her and land next to her. Take a few lightsaber swipes at her to do one heart of damage. Her hearts will turn silver again and you can repeat this until she’s defeated.

Chapter 2 – Ambush! (Rugosa)

Fight through the canyon

You begin play with Yoda, Jek, Lt. Thire, and Rys. Note that Jek has a rocket launcher, Thire has a gattling gun, and Rys has bombs…nice! Head down the path and you’ll encounter your first gold LEGO object.

Gold and Silver LEGO Objects
In order to overheat gold lego objects, you need to fire a rapid-fire gun at them. In this case, use Lt. Thire’s gun until the object explodes.

Silver lego objects have to be destroyed with an explosive weapon. You’ve run into this already in the game and have used the missile turrets to accomplish it. However, now that you have a rocket launcher and bombs at your disposal, well, you don’t need to rely on outside help.

So, as mentioned, use Thire’s gattling gun to destroy the gold plant. Build its pieces and they’ll attach to the pink tree limbs. Destroy them again to block the path. Head to the right to find a silver lego object, another plant. Use the rocket launcher to destroy it and then build the pieces. Destroy the rebuilt pieces to block the cave. The main path will now bust open.

Attack the Heavy Super Battle Droids and make your way down the path to the next gold lego object blocking a cave entrance. Use Lt. Thire to blast it. After the cutscene, the cave will still be locked and Thire will be useless.

Rats! You still need to heat up that gold lego plant blocking the cave. To do so, switch to Yoda and Force lift a droid. Continue to HOLD the Force button and make sure that you’ve picked up a droid who has a rapid-fire blaster (you can tell this pretty easily by simply seeing if the droid is shooting quickly). It’s a bit clunky, but you can aim the droid so that he locks on to the gold plant blocking the door, thus accomplishing the rapid fire necessary to heat it up and destroy it. Go through.

Destroy Three AAT Tanks

Upon exiting the cave you’ll see three AAT (tank) icons at the top of your screen. You’ll also see a tank below. Drop down to the nearby lower ledge and switch to Jek (rocket launcher). Press and hold the Attack button so that you get the blue crosshair. Aim your crosshair to shoot the left cannon and right cannon of the tank (don’t worry about the top hatch, but feel free to destroy it). When both side cannons are eliminated you’ll see a blue Jedi Symbol appear. As Yoda, hop down and use the symbol to destroy the tank.

Granted, you are now on the ground-level, but the process for destroying the other two tanks is pretty much the same. The only differnce is that for the second tank, you’ll need to Force lift a droid and have it use its rapid-fire gun to destroy the gold side cannons. The third tank will require you to use Rys’s Grapple on each of the two side cannons.

Destroy Five Droidekas

There are two different types of Droidekas: blue shield and red shield. Of the five, I only encountered one blue shield. They are easy to defeat, just attack with Yoda. The red shielded ones are invincible to attacks so you’ll have to use the Force on them. If you see any on the right side of the screen you can Force push them into a pit that is there on the right. Otherwise, for the others either near the back or on the left, you’ll need to Force push them under the boulders that you see perched above. When a droideka is under the boulders, the boulders will pulsate blue. Use Jek’s rocket launcher to target them (HOLD the attack button and put the crosshair on them…you won’t get a lock, so just aim carefully). The boulders will come down and smash the droideka. The boulders respawn so you’ll have more than one chance.

Chapter 3 – Blue Shadow Virus (Naboo)

The Swamp

Oh, great. Jar Jar Binks. Anyway, you start the level with the ability to control Ahsoka and Captain Rex. Head right battling your way through all of the droids and droidekas. When you get to the end of the path you’ll discover a Bomb Panel. Switch to Capt. Rex, a clone trooper, and step into the white symbol on the ground. Hit the button shown to you to place a bomb. It’ll go off and reveal a hatch. Drop down and through.

The Underground Tunnel

Fight your way along the tunnel. Note that along the way you’ll see gates on either side of the hall. You can shut the first two gates using Force and pulling them down. The second two gates can be shut using Rex’s Grapple. This simply stops the flow of enemies and makes life a little easier.

Head down a bit farther and two droidekas will emerge. There is nothing you can do now, so the game tells you to switch to Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan? you say! Yes, you can currently see his whereabouts in the circle in the upper right of your screen. The game will show you what button to press and HOLD to switch to the other screen.

Hanging with Mr. Kenobi

After switching to the other screen you’ll be in control of Obi-Wan. Hop into the ships missile turret and fire away at the the four shield generators you see below. Once all four are destroyed, continue to fire on the hatch itself until it blows. When it does, your ship will hover above it. Jump or drop in.

Fight your way to the right destroying everything in your path until you get to the end. Look up to see what looks like a jet engine. Use Force on either side of it to tear it down. It’ll smash through the floor and take out Ahsoka’s droideka’s below. Nice! Drop down and you’ll have joined up with her.

Build the pieces on the ground into a Clone Trooper Panel and have Capt. Rex use it to get the door open. In the next room you’ll see two panels that only enemy droids can use. On the left is a Grapple Point. Use Rex’s Grapple to attach to it and then use the control stick to pull it. A platform will emerge from the wall.

It’s now time for a little Jedi teamwork. Hop onto the platform as either Ahsoka or Obi-Wan (it doesn’t matter). Switch to the other Jedi and use Force to lift your partner up. He/she will automatically jump off to the upper area. Switch to that character (you may need to get under him/her to switch) and then activate the blue Jedi Symbol to plunge your lightsaber into the wall. Move it in a circular path to cut open a control panel. Attack the wire until it’s destroyed and you’ll get a cutscene.

A Joyful Reunion

When play resumes you’ll be in control of Anakin and a Clone Trooper. Fight your way down the hall destroying everything in your path. You can shut the gates on either side using Force, like before. When you get to the red sheild droideka, use Force to toss one of the nearby exploding canisters at it. This will temporarily lower its shield and you can attack it. Repeat if necessary (the canisters respawn).

Continue on, feel free to Grapple the two gates, and then destroy the two droidekas using the same tossing-canister technique as before. After the droidekas, veer right and use the blue Jedi Symbol to cut a hole in the door.

Fight Dr. Nuvo Vindi

This is a pretty easy fight. Simply use Force to toss canisters at the Dr. until he’s defeated. He’ll bounce back and forth between the left and right upper platforms, but it really doesn’t get any more complicated than that.

Note, you have rescued Padme and Jar Jar and can now use them. Jar Jar can jump higher than most characters.

Switch to Jar Jar and double jump up to the upper platform on the right. Pull the lever to open the door below. Go through.

Make your way toward Dr. Vindi and the LEP Servent Droid. You’ll get a quick cutscene. After, take a look at the green and red door. You need to get it open. Switch to Padme and head left. Use the Grapple Symbol and get to the upper ledge. Jar Jar will automatically join you. Here you’ll find a head-scratching (I jest) let’s-step-on-two-buttons puzzle. Step on one while your partner steps on the other. The door near your Jedi comrades opens, as does one near you, however, you’re trapped.

Defeat teh LEP Servent Droid

Let the Jedi’s fend for themselves for a bit as you take on the LEP Droid. To find him, enter the greenhouse and take a close look at each of the groups of plants. When you see one shake, quickly shoot it. It’ll blow up and the LEP will run. Chase it down, wait for it to stop, and hit it (don’t shoot it, just get near it and thwap it) to do one heart of damage. Repeat until all five hearts are gone and it runs away.

Chase it down the hall, taking out the enemy droids, and in the final room, simply chase it down and hit it until it’s defeated (five more hearts). When it’s toast, you’ll see some pieces on the ground. Build them to activate a lever. Pull the lever and you’ll automatically be switch to your Jedi friends.

Defeat Dr. Vindi

Head to the end of the path if you aren’t there already and use the blue Jedi Symbol to cut a hole in the door. You are now in a hangar lift riding up. Dr. Vindi is on his ship and he’s throwing bombs at you. Use Force to stop them and throw them back at him. Destroy the droids as best as you can between each toss and simply repeat until he’s defeated.

Chapter 4 – Storm Over Ryloth (Ryloth)

Holy flying mission, Luke Skywalker! Well, I would have said “Batman” but that wouldn’t have made much sense. So, here you are, in Anakin’s Jedi Starfighter on your first flying mission (if you are following this guide…you may have done the levels in a different order). Assuming it is your first time at the flight controls, here is everything you need to know.

Flying Basics
Hold the Boost/Jump button to speed up. Hold the Attack button to fire your blasters. When you see a large red cross (plus sign) on a battle ship, that means you can land on it. Simply fly over the red cross and hit the prompted button (Switch Character button). When you want to get back in your ship, simply approach your ship and hit the button shown to you.

Now that you know how to fly, it’s time to orient yourself for this walkthrough. Fly down (toward the bottom of the screen) until you get to the back of the battleship (you’ll know you’re there when you see its blue propulsion jets glowing). This is the middle ship and it is flanked on either side by two ships: Separatist Cruisers.

Destroy the Separatist Cruiser – Landing Pad 1

Fly forward along the right side of the battleship and just after you pass over its rear engines, you’ll see a landing pad. Land and you’ll spy a nearby blue Jedi Symbol. Use it to cut a hole in the wall to reveal a socket. Use Force to move the plug into the socket. This will open the door. Go in.

Now inside, head up the stairs and hop into either gunner’s seat. Look across to the large Separatist Cruiser and locate each of the three turrets on its side. When you move your crosshair over one, you’ll see it get targeted. You’ll also see three turret icons at the top of your screen. Shoot each one until it blows up and when all three are toast, the ship will go down.

Nice work. Make your way back to you ship and take off.

Destroy the Second Separatist Cruiser – Landing Pad 2

After you take off, fly directly to the left (west) to the other side of the ship. There is another landing pad here. Land and use the blue Jedi Symbol to destroy the spider droid. Build the resulting pieces into a lever. Pull the lever to gain access to the formerly-caged socket. Use Force to move the plug into the socket. The door will open. Go in.

The setup here is the same as for the other side, that is, hop into either turret gun seat and take aim at the three turrets on the Separatist Cruiser. Destroy all three to destroy the ship.

Exit back out to your ship. Before you hop in, you can use the blue Jedi Symbol to take control of the spider droid and have some fun walking around firing missiles. Worthless? Yes. Fun? Yes.

When you’re ready, get in your ship and fly forward (north), still along the RIGHT side of the ship.

NOTE: After destroying the second Separatist Cruiser a Sublight Booster (Booster Ring) becomes active. See “Flying Advanced” below.

Activating Torpedoes – Landing Pad 3

Land at the landing pad on the right, near the front of the ship, and pull the lever. You’ll see a pink orb appear above. Get back in your ship and fly through the orb. You now have Torpedoes!.

Flying Advanced
There are now two things that you need to know about: Torpedoes and Sublight Boosters.

As mentioned, once you activate a Torpedo Depot (the pink orb) you can fly through it. When you do, you’ll see three torpedoes being towed behind you. Certain targets will now have a pink crosshair on them. This means you can fire your torpedoes at them (use the Force button).

Sublight Boosters are the floating warp device rings that you’ll see now and again (there is one near the back of the battleship). They allow you to get to places that you couldn’t otherwise reach. To activate one, fly into it and hit the prompted button (Switch Character). Wait for the ring to charge up and you’ll be prompted to hit the Jump button. Do so to be taken to a different area.

Pulling a Lever – Landing Pad 4

Okay, you have torpedoes but don’t worry about that for now. Instead, fly to the back of the battleship and enter the Sublight Booster (see “Flying Advanced” above). Launch yourself and you’ll be at the top of the battleship, in an area that opened up after you destroyed the two Separatist Cruisers. You’ll see a landing pad on the left. Land and go down the ramp.

Look familiar? Yes, this is the same battleship layout as your Hub. Head forward (north) to the windows where you’ll find a lever you can pull. Do so and your ship will speed up. Unfortunately, two more enemy Separatist Cruisers have pulled alongside of you.

Destroy the Final Two Separatist Cruisers

If you haven’t activated the Torpedo Depot now is the time (see above). You’ll need them to target the laser turrets on the two Cruisers.

From the bridge of the battleship, return to your ship, locate the Sublight Booster Ring in front of you and use it to return back down. Fly through the pink orb of the Torpedo Depot and then fly in the direction of the pink arrow until you are alongside one of the Cruisers. As you fly past you’ll see the turrets that you can fire at: they become auto-locked and you are shown the button to push to fire your torpedoes. There are two targets (turrets) on each Cruiser.

Once you have destroyed the turrets on each of the Cruisers, you’ll need to visit both Landing Pad 1 and Landing Pad 2 again to fire the laser turrets at each Cruiser to finish them off.

Let’s Get Out of Here!

Hop back in your ship, use the Sublight Booster to get back up to the bridge of the battleship. Land, enter, and pull the active lever in the bridge to end the level.

Chapter 5 – Innocents of Ryloth (Ryloth)

Get Past the Wall

At the start of this level you have control of Obi-Wan, Waxer, Boil, and Commander Cody. In front of you is a seemingly impenetratable wall. Not for this gang!

Switch to Waxer (rocket launcher) and destroy the silver column on the left…this will take four shots…feel free to hold the Attack button to lock on to each part. This will reveal a path in the wall (looks like a Metroid path). Note that your comrades are throwing bombs to the base of it. As Obi-Wan, use Force to lift a bomb up the path to the turret where it’ll blow up the turret.

Nice, one turret down, one to go. The column on the right is gold, meaning it requires rapid fire. Hmm? You don’t have any rapid fire at your disposal, or do you?

Commanding Clone Troopers
It’s time to learn how to command clone troopers! This option is available when you are in control of a character with a radio in his helmet (in this case, Cmd. Cody) and see one or more clones with red radio signals emitting from their heads.

To start out, as Cmd. Cody, walk up to a red radio clone and you’ll be prompted to hit a button (Force/Grapple button). This will make it so that all available clones are connected (you’ll see the red radio signals connect with one another). You are now in full control of them to either follow you or shoot at a target.

Now, you have to point them to a target (which is the same as any other targetting). To do so, press and HOLD the Attack button. You’ll get a crosshair. Move the crosshair over that which you want to attack and release. The clones will open fire on the target.

Everytime the clones destroy a target, they become autonomous again, so if you want to get their attention and control them, you’ll have to hit the Force/Grapple button again. Repeat as necessary.

If it’s not working, re-read this section carefully as you’re probably not instigating the command using the Force/Grapple button.

Now that you know how to command clones, set them loose on the gold column. Their combined fire is enough to heat it up and destroy it. Repeat the targetting for each of the four sections of the column.

Once it’s destroyed, you’ll reveal another bomb path. Use Force to guide a bomb up to the turret to destroy it.

Finally, pay attention to the LEGO pieces in the middle of the area. Destroy them if they aren’t already and build them into a missile turret. Hop on and fire at the wall to destroy it.

Repair the Satellite Dish

Stay on the turret and wreak havoc on the incoming droikekas and droids. When you’re satisfied, hop off and make your way down the road taking out enemies as you go. When you get to the blue platform, build the pieces on it into the base of the satellite. The dish itself is lying on the ground next to it.

The repaired dish will send out a signal and an AT-AP Walker will drop in. You can take control of it. Do so and head along the road, walking over anything that moves. When you get to the silver gate, repeatedly fire the AT-AP’s laser cannon at it until it blows up.

The Town

You enter the town. There are five barricades in the cliff wall, each blocking access to an orange pad. Either use the Walker to walk over them or the rocket launcher to destroy them.

When all of the orange pads are exposed you’ll need to locate two doors, each with a red square on it. One is to the right of the central gate. The other is to the left of the gate, among the houses. Blow up each of these doors and an Imperial Probe Droid will emerge. Destroy the droid and build the pieces into a Grapple Point for the gate. Repeat for the other droid.

Go ahead and Grapple each of these two points and pull them to open the gate (your partner will automatically join in if you’re playing alone).

Holy dinosaurs! Yes, five brown dinosaurs (Nunas?) attack. Hmm? Five creatures and five orange pads? Use Obi-Wan to attack and then use Force on them to subdue them. Hop on one and ride it onto an orange pad. It’ll stay there and drink water. Repeat for the remaining four.

When all five creatures are in place, the gate will open. Go through.

The Jail

You are now in the jail. Ignore the first lever and head to the second one. Pull it to open the cell next to it. Enter and pull the two Grapple Points on the wall to bust through the wall. You’ll see a blue Jedi Symbol. Before you use it, blow up the silver boulders that are blocking the checkered floor path.

Go ahead and use the blue Jedi Symbol to cut a hole in the wall. Use Force to pull a block out and then continue to use Force to move it along the checkered path.

Oh no! The path is broken and the block won’t move. Head back into the main hall and look on the right wall for the two missing pieces of checkered floor. Attack them to knock them down and then use the Force to move them into place. Note, if any of your guys are in the way, attack them to make them move. With the floor repaired, move the block along the path to the end of it. It’ll lock into place.

Switch to a Clone Trooper and hop up onto the block. Use the Clone Trooper panel to open the gate.

Destroy the Three Large Cannons

Upon entering the final battle area you’ll find two large cannons firing at you. These are not the ones you need to destroy. Rather, these are the ones that you’ll want to take control of. Use whomever you want (I found the rocket launcher to work well) to attack these cannons until they deactivate. At that point, you can hop into either one.

Now in control of a cannon, press and HOLD the Attack button and target each of the three large cannons on the surrounding wall. Controlling the left cannon will allow you to destroy one of the large cannons. Controlling the right cannon will allow you to take out the final two large cannons.

Destroy the AAT

When all three are toast, an AAT (tank) will come through the wall and a force field will be active. You can’t attack it. So, hop out of your cannon and run past the tank. Behind it, on the right, you’ll find the shield generator. Pull the lever to deactivate the force field (or just attack the generator for a ton of studs). Either way, you can now hop back into a cannon and attack the tank until the silver shield blows off.

At this point you’ll see a blue Jedi Symbol appear. You know what to do. This will end the level.

Chapter 6 – Liberty Ryloth (Ryloth)

Please note: If the following Real Time Strategy gameplay is overwhelming to you, then I recommend that you play through the Count Dooku chapters as they are pretty much a tutorial for the RTS elements. If you feel like jumping head first into the deep end, then continue on my young Padawan!

Welcome to your first RTS (Real-Time Strategy) level (if you’re following this waklthrough). These levels play out on a huge open battlefield and there is much to know. The game will guide you along, but if you have any questions…

…please refer to the “RTS – Real-Time Strategy Levels” section near the end of this walkthrough for everything you need to know about this kind of level.

The objective in this mission is to free the city. To do this, you’ll need to restore the bridge by activating two Gold Pads at two of the enemy bases.

Note, there are many different strategies to complete this level. The strategy below is both tried-and-true and generally quick.

Destroy the Silver Pod Emitting Red Electricity

From the start, head north to your current northernmost base. Take control of the cannon there and aim it (press and HOLD the Attack button) to the right, over the silver pod generating the red electricity. This pod is keeping you from getting into enemy territory.

Collect Studs

Hop on a speeder bike and drive to the SW of your controlled area to grab some blue studs. Then, head north to the cliff wall and then east (past the pod you destroyed). Stay along the north wall for many blue and several purple studs. You should have about 70,000 studs at this point. Plenty to get you through this mission.

Take Control of Base 1 (north middle base)

The first base you’ll want to attack is the north middle one. Look at your map and locate the three red bases in the north. You’ll want to go to the middle one (and you are near it after collecting those studs). Attack the cannon there until the Droid controlling it hops out and then take control of it. Use it to destroy the Small Air Support radar to its left. If, during this time, the cannon gets blown up, that’s fine. Just use Mace Windu to attack the radar. Once both structures are destroyed, build a Gold Cannon on it.

Lower Shield on Base 2 (NE base)

To the east of Base 1 is a shielded base. Use Mace to double jump across the gap (rock pillars) to get to it. Deactivate the Shield Generator by pulling the lever on it.

Destroy Base 2 (NE base)

Head back to Base 1 and hop into your shiny Gold Cannon. Haha! Your cannon cannot be destroyed by the silver cannon of Base 2. Fire at the silver cannon until it blows. Then, focus your fire on the shield generator to destroy it. You now have the base!

Activate the Gold Pad

Hop back over to Base 2 and build on the Gold Pad to make a beam of green electricity go toward the city. This is half of what is necessary to restore the bridge. If you want, feel free to build a shield generator to protect it.

Back to Base 1 – AT-TE Time!

Head back to Base 1 (where your gold cannon is) and build an Air Support >> AT-TE. This is a 50,000 stud vehicle, but worth it. When it lands, get in.

This walker can do a bunch of damage. Wreak havoc on the enemy bases as you head south, taking them over.

Destroy the Ray Shield in Base 3

Base 3 is the south middle base. Granted, it’s not really in the middle, but there is no base to its west, so just go with me here. Anyway, there is a Ray Shield at this base that is protecting a structure in the SE base. You need to destroy the Ray Shield and take over this base.

Destroy Base 4 and Activate the Second Gold Pad

Base 4 is the SE base. It has the Gold Pad in it. Now that the Ray Shield of Base 3 is toast, you can attack this base. Your AT-TE won’t have any problem taking out the silver pod emitting the red electricity. Take control of the base and then activate the Gold Pad here.

Destroy the City Gate

Great, both Gold Pads are activated and the bridge to the city is back! Use your AT-TE and set up midway across the bridge. Take aim at the city gate and fire at it until it blows. When it does, hop out and go through the gate to end the level.

General Grievous

Chapter 1 – Duel of the Droids (Ruusan Moon)

Welcome to the General Grievous chapter! Upon starting play you’ll notice that you finally have control of an Astromech Droid in the form of R3-S6.

Astromech Droids
Droids can access Astromech Panels (as opposed to Protocol Droid Panels) and can hover by pressing and holding the Jump button. Both of these things will come in handy.

Place Explosive Charges 1 and 2 (Circular Room 1)

Charge 1

Head forward to the circular room, taking out droids as you go. Switch to R3-S6 and use the Astromech Panel to the right of the force field door. A door to the right of the panel will open. Defeat the Super Battle Droids and then use Captain Rex at the Clone Trooper Panel to place the charge.

Charge 2

Locate the central pit with the blue electricity going down the middle of it. On the right side there is a crate that you can destroy. Build the pieces into a Grapple Point. Use the Grapple to lift up a platform with a Clone Trooper Panel on it. Place the second charge.

Place Explosive Charges 3, 4, and 5 (Circular Room 2)

Charge 3

The force field door is now open. Head down the hall to the next circular room. Use R3-S6 on the Astromech Panel and a door to the right will open (just like before). Defeat the Droideka inside and then use Force to move the power plug into the socket. This will activate the Clone Trooper Panel. Use it to set the charge.

Charge 4

Head to the right side of the pit and use the blue Jedi Symbol to cut a hole in the power box. You’ll reveal a Grapple Point. Grapple it to raise a platform with a Clone Trooper Panel. Place the charge.

Charge 5

Head down the hall and locate the Astromech Panel on the door on the left. Use it. Oh no! A red-shieled turret gun. Look above it to find a Grapple Point. Grapple it and pull to drop some LEGO pieces on the turret, destroying it. Go into the room and place this fifth charge.

Place Explosive Charges 6, 7, 8, and 9 (Circular Room 3)

Charge 6

Are you sick and tired of this yet? The force field will lower. Head down the hall to the next circular room. You know the routine, use the Astromech Panel to open the door to its right. This time, use Force (press and HOLD) on the blue pipes on the back wall of the little room to defeat the mechanical arms. Set the charge.

Charge 7

Use Force to raise the Grapple Point on the right side of the pit. Grapple it to raise the platform in the middle. Defeat the droidekas and then set the charge.

Charge 8 (Circular Room 4)

Head down the hall into the next circular room. Use the Astromech Panel and the force field door will seal shut. Two other doors (one on the left, one on the right) will open and droids will flood in. Deal with them and then go down either hall…I went down the right one first. Deal with more droids and then activte the Clone Trooper Panel to set the charge.

Charge 9

Since I went down the right hall first, head back and go down the left hall. Set the charge at the end of the hall.

Battle Grievous – Place Explosive Charge 10

It’s time to face off with the four-lightsaber wielding Gen. Grievous. You want to avoid him at all costs as he’ll slice and dice you faster than a Ninja(R) Blender. The best strategy is to hop up on either the left or right wall, use Force on any crate you can and then move that crate until you see a green lock-on on Grievous. Let go of the Force button to toss it at him and he’ll be stunned. Quickly hop down and get in one attack for one heart of damage. Repeat this, going back and forth between the left and right walls.

After three hearts of damage, Grievous will run away. Hop down to the purple platform in the middle of the area and build the Super Battle Droid: legs, torso, arms.

The Super Battle Droid will come to life and attack the gold crate. This will reveal a blue Jedi Symbol. Use it to collapse the shelf, thus creating a staircase. Climb up and head north (up).

When you get to Grievous, he’ll run away. Near you is the explosive charge. Use Force to move it into the panel next to you.

Switch to Anakin – Place Explosive Charge 11

It’s time to switch to Anakin. Press and hold the “Switch Character” button. Head forward and some droids will attack. Two of them are Magnadroids. When you fight them you’ll be prompted to rapidly tap the Attack button. Do so to defeat them.

Head to the blue Jedi Symbol at the end of the hall and cut a hole in the door. Continue into the next room, defeat the droids, and then assemble the final charge from the pieces on the left side of the room.

Detonate the Charges (Build R2-D2)

Hey, is that the head of R2-D2 that I see lying there on the ground? Yes, yes it is. There are more pieces of him on the ground. Assemble him on the table: leg, leg, body, head.

You can now control him. Use him on the Astromech Panel and he’ll detonate the charges for you.

Build a Torpedo Generator

A door on the left of the room opens. Head through. After the cutscene you’ll be in the Hangar. Take out the droids and then grab the copious amounts of blue studs on the far right side of the area (NE).

Once the hangar is clear of droids, hop into the blue walker droid and target the many silver crates near the middle purple platform (and any other crates for that matter). Hop out when everything is destroyed and you’ll see some LEGO pieces to the left of the purple platform. Build them into an object and then use Force to move the object onto the purple pad. Booya! You have torpedoes! Don’t worry about them now.

Defeat R3-S6

Locate the Astromech Panel near one of the inner bay doors. This will create a lift for R2-D2. It is here that you learn that Astromech Droids can hover if your press and HOLD the Jump button. Do so as you hover him over to the left to the next Astromech Panel.

Here you’ll encounter R3-S6. Rapidly tap the Attack button to do one heart of damage to him. He’ll call in two walker droids which will appear below.

Use the Astromech Panel to raise up a starfighter (The Twilight). Ignore that for now. Follow that pesky droid and attack him again, doing one more heart of damage. He now extends a wall so you can’t harm him.

Hmm? That wall has a pink torpedo target on it. Switch Characters to a Jedi and take out one of the walker droids (look for the blue Jedi Symbol to tame it and then hop in it). Continue to blast anything and everything that moves. When all is quiet, go to the Torpedo Generator and you’ll see the wall target above will have a crosshair on it. Use Force to grab the torpedo, push in the direction of the wall and release. The wall will blow.

Switch back to R2-D2, attack R3-S6 again and he’ll retreat. Activate the final Astromech Switch to open the hangar bay door.

Switch back to a Jedi and go over to the starship (The Twilight) you raised up earlier…it’s on the right. Note, if it’s not there, you failed to use an Astromech Panel with R2 above…just switch to R2 and find the one you missed.

Use Force on The Twilight’s door and then build the pieces into Anakin’s Starfighter. Hop in and fly through the Torpedo Generator to grab three torpedoes. Fly outside and target each of the pink targets. Let ‘em have it!

If R2 doesn’t automatically fall into your ship, fly over to him to rescue him and the level will end.

Chapter 2 – Shadow of Malevolence (Dead Moon of Antar)

Welcome to another flying mission. If you need a refresher on controls, please see the walkthrough for Asajj Ventress – Chapter 4 – Storm Over Ryloth.

Get to the Landing Pad

Fly around a bit and get to know the outside of the huge battle cruiser, the Malevolence. You’ll notice many pink targets and below, a landing pad.

To get to that landing pad you’ll need to use a Sublight Booster Ring.

Note, if you need help with Sublight Boosters, please see “Flying Advanced” in the walkthrough for Asajj Ventress – Chapter 4 – Storm Over Ryloth.

Locate the Sublight Booster Ring by flying around for a bit. For me, it was more toward the right of the ship and away from it. Use it to get to the lower level and land at the landing pad.

Activate the Torpedo Generator

Upon landing, head over to the lever of the Torpedo Generator and pull it to create the pink orb.

Destroy the Eight Torpedo Targets (2 lower, 6 upper)

Hop back into your ship and fly through the pink orb to grab three torpedoes. Attack each of the two nearby pink targets (the lower targets, if you will). When they are all toast, go back through the Torpedo Generator and pick up more torpedoes. Fly out to a Booster Ring and go back up. There are six pink targets here, so unload on three of them (if you hit either the three front of three back targets, you’ll blow up part of the ship).

Once three targets have been hit, go resupply by flying back down and grabbing more ammo. Fly back up and take out the final three targets.

Once you hit all six targets, you will see two separate sections of the Malevolence destroyed. The forward one (to the left) has a landing pad and a Torpedo Generator protected by one Ray Shield. The rear section (to the right) has a landing pad protected by three Ray Shields.

You can simply ignore the right section and its landing pad, and for that matter, the left landing pad. All you really need is that left Torpedo Generator. To access it, shoot the Ray Shield (the satellite dish with a beam coming out of it) in the left section until its destroyed. You now have a new Torpedo Generator.

Fly through it and hit the two targets in this left area. Resupply and then hit the two targets in the right section. This will reveal a final target on the Malevolence’s engine, down below. Resupply if necessary.

Fly through a Booster Ring and go down there. Target the final pink target and let ‘er rip! The ship will blow up and the level will end.

Chapter 3 – Destroy Malevolence (Dead Moon of Antar)

What the? Apparently a barrage of torpdoes does not bring down a huge battle cruiser. Looks like you’ll have to take care of this from the inside.

Tram Spotting

Head forward taking out droids until you get the new camera view and see platforms heading down. Hop down the platforms to the tram platform. Head north and use R2-D2 to hover across the gap to the Astromech Panel. Use it to stop the tram.

Get on the stopped tram, take out the droids, and then jump from the tram to the left. You’ll end up on the central platform. Take out the enemies and then Force Lift R2-D2 (press and HOLD the Force button and then move him in the direction you want him to go) to the platform with the blocked Astromech Panel and the red button.

Once he’s over there, switch to R2 and drive over the red button to retract the crates. Use the Astromech Panel to stop the next tram. Defeat the enemies on this tram and then use Force to lift the black/purple platform at the north of the tram. Move this platform to the left and place it so that it locks in to the purple base.

Jump to this platform and look to the north to see two droids working on pillar/platform. Target them for a saber toss and make sure to target the pillar itself. Let loose and the pillar will drop.

Jump to the platform to your left and, because you just lowered the pillar/platform, you can now Force Lift R2 over to that lowered pillar/platform. You know the routine: switch to R2, step on switch, use panel.

The tram that stops here is a bit different. Use the Force on it (press and HOLD for a while) to create a crane.

Hop into the crane and move it (use the control stick in a circular motion) north-ish until you get a button prompt to pick up the large back section of the tram. Hit the button shown to you (Force/Grapple button) and lift it up. Swing the crane around south-ish until you see another button prompt to drop the section of tram.

You’ll automatically hop out of the crane. Hop across the section you just moved and up the ramp to the new area. Fight your way down the hall until you get a cutscene of Padme and C-3P0.

Put Out the Fire

When play resumes, Obi-Wan and Anakin are separated. As Obi-Wan, head right and down the hall. Defeat any enemies and you’ll see you path blocked by fire. Nearby is an Astromech Panel and three purple power pipes. The three pipes need to be placed back into their slots. The tricky part is that one of the purple pipes needs to go above you. So, place each of the three pipes: left, up, and right. When they’re all in place, use the panel as R2, of course, to put out the fire.

The Proper Protocol

At this point, the game tells you to switch back to Anakin. You better listen! Press and hold the Switch Character button.

Hey, it’s Anakin, Padme, and C-3P0! Head down the hall and break the crates until you see a Grapple Point lying on the ground. Use Force to move it into place on the red part of the panel on the right. Switch to Padme and Grapple it open. You have revealed a Protocol Droid Panel. Use C-3P0 to access it.

Protocol Droid Panels
When you access a Protocol Droid Panel you’ll be shown a series of four lights. When it stops, you need to replicate it…like Simon (yes, I’m a child of hte ’80s). To do this, simply move your control stick in the direction of the first light and hit the Jump button (sort of an “enter” button). Do this for each successive light until you’ve entered the pattern.

After successfully accessing the panel with C-3P0, the door will open and you’ll have a droideka and some droids to deal with. When they are toast, a cutscene will ensue of a walker droid crashing through the window.

Red and Blue Door Puzzle

When play resumes, you’ll be back to Obi-Wan. Attack the walker droid a few times to make a blue Jedi Symbol appear. Use it to destroy the droid and then assemble the pieces into an Astromech Panel. Use the panel as R2 to raise the ship’s blast shields, and the next door. Head forward.

You now have a red and blue door to deal with. First, use Force to move the socket into its plug, thus supplying power. You now have two panels to use as R2. The left panel rotates the outer blue/red markings. The right panel rotates the inner blue/red markings. You need to get everything to line up. That is, double lines of the same color on the outside and single lines in line with their matching color on the inside.

To do this, use the panels in this order: left, right, right, left. The door will open. Go through.

Force Torpedoes

You’ll end up in a new area. Drop down to a bridge running east-west. Explore it to find a variety of interaction possibilities: There are exploding barrels that you can Force Lift; Two platforms with Astromech Panels in the distance (one on the left, one on the right); A central Astromech Panel that is non-operational; Four pink torpedo targets.

To start, use saber tosses to eliminate the enemies on both the left and right platforms. Once they’re clear, use R2 to hover over to each one and activate the Astromech Panel. This will result in a Torpedo Generator (pink orb) being created on each of the two platforms. You can use Force on these to send torpedoes flying.

Switch back to Obi-Wan and position yourself so that you see the blue Force glow around either of the torpedo orbs. When you see the Force glow on one, use the Force button to send a torpedo flying at one of the pink targets. You may need to continually reposition yourself (try getting a diagonal line between you, the torpedo, and the target) in order to hit a target. Keep maneuvering until you hit all four pink targets.

When all four are hit, the central Astromech Panel will become active. Use it to extend a bridge in front of you.

Defeat General Grievous

Who is that pesky droid who appears? Oh geez!!! It’s Grievous.

As Obi-Wan, toss an exploding barrel at Grievous (no need to saber attack). He’ll run off to the left and you’ll have to deal with two droidekas. Head left and toss another barrel at Grievous. He’ll bust through the gate on the left side and reveal a lever for you. Pull it. This will open half of the main door.

Fight through the droidekas and head right, toward Grievous. When you get to him, Force toss another barrel at him and he’ll break through the right gate. Pull the lever there. The main door will open but you can’t go through yet.

Nonetheless, head there, fight through the droidekas, and toss another barrel at Grievous. He’ll take off (back to the left again) but you need not worry about him…he’s out of the way as far as you’re concerned.

Intead, simply walk up to either of the two red floor switches and wait for R2 to step on the other. The door will open. Head through and go down the lift. You’ll switch to Anakin.

Stoplight Puzzle

You are now back to being Anakin, Padme, and C-3P0. Use Padme’s Grapple on the Grapple Point on the right to spill out three colored pieces (red, yellow, green). Use Force to mimic the placement of the pieces based upon their alignment on the left (top to bottom: red, yellow, green…not terribly difficult). The difficult part is the fine-tuned precision needed to guide them into their places.

Once you’ve placed them, the Protocol DRoid Panel is active. Use it. The door will open. Ride the lift up.

Destroy the Malevolence

You are now on the bridge of the Malevolence. Take out the droids and then get your bearings. There are two blue Jedi Symbols at the top of the area, a Grapple Point near each of the Jedi Symbols, and a Protocol Droid Panel near the middle.

Use the Jedi Symbols to cut two holes in the wall, revealing two sockets. Use Padme to grapple the two Grapple Points to reveal plugs. Plug them into the sockets using Force. Switch to C-3P0 and activate the Protocol Panel to lower the blast shields.

After taking out the droids who attack, head to the center and you’ll see a blue Force glow over the large button in the middle of the room. Think of this as a control stick. Press and HOLD the Force button to take control of the large button, and thus the ship. Using the crosshair in front of you as a guide, move the ship so that you are aiming at the moon in the crosshair. When you get a lock on the moon you’ll automatically disengage.

At this point, many a droid will attack. Keep attacking the droids until you see an elevator open to the left. When it does, head into it to end the mission.

Chapter 4 – Lair of Grievous (Vassek)

Open the Gate

At the start of this mission note that you now have control of a Heavy Weapons Clone Trooper. He fires rockets.

From the start, look to the right of your starfighter to see a rare purple stud. Jump to it. Once you have it, feel free to collect other studs, and then head forward along the path.

Stay on the left side and you’ll find some crashed clone troopers that you can control. Switch to Commander Fil and take control of the troopers.

Please see “Commanding Clone Troopers” in the Assaj Ventress level: Chapter 5 – Innocents of Ryloth for complete details on commanding troops.

Take your troops to the main gate and you’ll see a gold column on the left and a silver column on the right. Have your troops attack the gold column to destroy it.

This will reveal a Grapple Point and an enemy with a rocket launcher will pop out. Switch to your Heavy Weapons Clone Trooper to take him out.

Ignore the Grapple Point for now and use the Heavy Weapons Clone Trooper to blast the silver column. You’ll need to hit it four times. This reveals another Grapple Point and another rocket launcher enemy. Take him out, then go ahead and use one Grapple Point. While pulling it back, switch to the other Trooper in your power and have him use the other Grapple Point. The door will open. Note, if the first trooper disengages his grapple, just retry.

You now have to match the pieces of the door by using Force Lift to move the orange pieces over their corresponding red pieces. The door will open, go through. Note, move these slowly into place and they’ll lock in. If you miss, don’t worry as the wall panels respawn.

This is the Pits

In this dark hallway, locate the wall panels (one on each side) and Force move them into place on the pillars in the pit so that you can use the wall panels as platforms to jump across the pit.

Repeat the process to get across the second pit and head forward into the circular room. Defeat all of the droids here to get a cutscene.

Droid Werks

When play resumes, head out of the circular room and into the hallway with all of the control panels that you can’t use. Go to the end and use Force to move the two plugs into their sockets to open the door. Go through and you’ll be in a circular Droid repair shop.

Many a MangaDroid will drop down and attack you. You can actually saber toss at them while they are still hanging to make life a bit easier…yes, they’ll still fall but will be easier to defeat. When all the enemies are toast, you need to find six droid pieces to put into the door to open it.

Their locations are: two in the two grapple points on the left; two in the two grapple points on the right; one each in the two silver crates (use Heavy Weapons Trooper). Once all six pieces are revealed, use Force to place them into the door to form a droid. The door will open.

Fight Grievous

Locate the parts crate in the middle of the room that both respawns and can be Force Lifted. Toss it into Grievous to stun him. Quickly switch to either Trooper and you’ll see a Grapple Point on Grievous. Grapple and pull to tear off a leg and do one heart of damage. Repeat for the other leg and another heart of damage.

His heart tank will now fill back up as he begins to climb on the ceiling. Switch to your Heavy Weapons Trooper, target him and blast him. Repeat until he drops back to the ground. He’ll scurry around. Once again, target and fire rockets at him until he scampers away.

In the battle’s wake, Grievous has dropped two lightsabers. Switch to each of your Jedis and have them each pick one up. You now have two dual-wielding Jedis. Nice!

Building a Stair Case

Head into the next hallway and step on one of the four buttons. Your partners should automatically step on the other three for you. When they do, the floor drops open and you are on the side of a conveyor belt in a lava pit. There are a number of pieces that you can Force lift to create a staircase on the purple platform. Please see the screenshot for my solution. If you are not using the screenshot version, try this: big tall piece against the right wall; large horizontal rectangle against that piece, stair case piece on top of large horizontal rectangle; small rectangle on top of big tall piece, small tall piece on top of that. Got it? I hope so. Hop out and go through the next door.

Defeat Gor

Egad! Monster! Not to worry, you can defeat him. Note the two Grapple Points on him, one on each hip. Switch to a Trooper and Grapple one of them. Switch to your other Trooper and Grapple the other. With him held in check, you’ll see a blue Jedi Symbol appear. Use it to chop off an arm. Repeat this process for its tail, spider legs, and head to defeat it.

Escape

Head into the next hall, fight the MagnaDroids, and then exit to the outside. Here you’ll find a checkered path, a power generator that is plugged in on the left, near the beginning of the path, and two base units at the end of the track.

Unplug the power generator and slide it on the path to the end. Move the purple/white/silver dome on the base unit on the left over to and on top of the red/gray unit on the right. Locate the LEGO pieces on the ground nearby and build them into a white/purple object. Move this object so that it locks in on the unit on the left. Finally, move the satellite dish on the right of the area and lock it into the white/purple object you just placed. Great, everything is built now. Time to plug in the power cord from the satellite to the generator on the checkered path. This will send out a distress call and Grievous will show up one last time to ruin your day.

Don’t even try to fight him. Just wait for your starfighter to arrive on the right side of the platform and then hop in.

Chapter 5 – Rookies (Rishi Moon)

You start this level with Cmd. Cody and Cmd. Rex at your disposal. Shoot the first three droids on the pile of rubble and three more will jump in. They’ll destroy your ship. Take them out and then build the LEGO pieces on the ground into a crane. The crane has a Grapple Point on it. Grapple to it and lower yourself down to the ground below.

Defeat the Space Worm

Ahh! Space worm! There’s nothing terrible tricky here. Just wait until you see hearts above its head and then shoot it to do one heart of damage. Repeat, avoiding the crack that the worm makes in the ground bewteen each attack. After three hearts of damage, the worm will emerge, break a panel, and go back in to a tunnel on the left.

Build the pieces on the ground into a bridge and cross over the fire. Head left and wait for three Clone Troopers to arrive. ONe of the them, Echo, has a rocket launcher. Switch to him and again, wait for hearts to appear over the worm’s head. Target him and let him have it. Repeat again and he’ll be toast.

Enter the Compound

Build the pieces on the ground into a staircase up the dead worm and head up. On the top platform you’ll find a floor switch. Step on it and then switch to another character. Destroy the panel that opened when the switch was stepped on. A gold gate will swing out from the wall.

Switch to Hevy, who has a gattling gun. Lay into the gate to destroy it. A Grapple Point will drop down. Grapple across the gap and then use Hevy to destroy the gold boulders blocking the cave entrance. Go in.

You end up on some stairs on the other side of the debris blocking you earlier. Take out the droids (the TX-20 can’t be destroyed) and then shoot the debris barrier with your rocket launcher for a TON of studs. Now, focus your attention on the silver crate. Destroy it with a rocket, build it into a Droid Panel and then knock the head off of the TX-20. Grab his head and use the Droid Panel to open the door.

Go through the door with Echo (your rocket launcher trooper) and lay waste to all of the droids. Head up the stairs and right into a conrol room. Take out all of the enemies to get a cutscene of a ship landing.

Destroy the Three Orange Platforms

When you resume play you’ll be in control of Hevy and his gattling gun. Head down the hall and then fire away as you make your way through the sea of droids coming at you. Near the ship where all of the droids originate, you’ll see a large gold crate. Destroy it to find an explosive cart. Hop in the cart and head back to where you began with Hevy, and set the explosive cart down on the orange platform (note, this isn’t the final destination for the cart). You’ll now be told to switch to your other screen by pressing and holding the Switch Character button.

Your comrades have three orange platforms near them. Head to the left of this control room and build the blue pieces on the ground to repair the power supply to a lever. Pull the lever to open a door. Head into the hall and take out the droids. You’ll reach a metal gate. Use Echo and his rocket to target the power box near the ceiling. Destroy it and then pull the Grapple Point to open the gate. Switch to a blaster trooper and taget the droid in the explosive cart to eliminate him. Hop in the cart and drive it back into the control room.

Head up the stairs and destroy everything on the checkered path except for the battery cylinder, which can’t be destroyed. Move it to the left to power up the lever. Pull it to open another door. Go through, blast the enemies and the gate with your rockets and and then attack the droid in the cart. When he’s out, hop in and drive the cart over to another orange platform.

This will lower the blue laser field that was blocking you from Hevy and his cart. Run there and hop in. Drive the cart to the third orange platform.

Note: You may need to adjust your cart a bit for it to register on the orange platform. Just keep moving it around and retrying if you’re having trouble.

The level will end when all three carts are placed.

Chapter 6 – Grievous Intrigue (Saleucami)

Hostage Crisis

You start this level as Eeth Koth on the bridge of what appears to be your Hub, the Resolute, although it is just another battle cruiser in the same class.

Anyway, head forward and you’ll see Grievous cut through the bulkhead door and many a droid will enter. Take them out and then deal with the MagnaDroids. When they’re all toast, Grievous will attack.

The general gist here is what you’ve been doing: Toss an object at him to stun him and then attack. There are a few fine points here. If you see his heart meter is silver it means his shield is up. When you stun him the hearts will turn red. Also, if he’s in your face too much as you’re trying to Force toss an object at him, you can saber attack him and he’ll retreat a bit giving you a chance to lock on and toss an object.

After you stun him by tossing an object at him, attack him with your lightsaber to do one heart of damage. More MagnaDroids will attack. Repeat this process until you take a total of 3 hearts away. At this point you’ll get a cutscene and you’ll see Eeth taken hostage.

Lower the Two Force Fields

When play resumes you’ll be in control of Anakin and Adi Gallia. Head up the ramp and deal with the never ending assault of five droids at a time.

You’ll get to a circular room with a blue force field blocking your progression. You need to hit all three blue orbs before they regenerate to lower the force field. To do this, use the blue Jedi Symbol on the left to cut a hole in the wall. This will reveal a blue orb. The other two blue orbs are on the right, one on a console and one hanging from the ceiling.

Use a saber toss to target the two on the right and then quickly run over and saber toss or attack the one on the left (the one that you revealed using the blue Jedi Symbol). When all three are deactivated at the same time the force field will lower. Head up the ramp.

You’ll arrive at another circular room with a force field. This one requires you to do the same thing…hit all three orbs. One orb is hanging in the open, one is behind a gold cage on the right, and the other is hidden behind a panel on the left.

To access the gold cage orb, wait for a Super Battle Droid to attack (he’s a bit bigger than the regular droids). Lift him up using the Force and move him so that he targets the gold cage and destroys it.

Head to the left side of the room and Force move the object on the shelf onto its place on the purple pad. This will reveal the third orb.

As before, target the two orbs on the right with a saber toss and then run over and slash or saber toss the third. The force field will lower. Head up the ramp.

Free Eeth Koth

You’ll be on the bridge and will see a Droid Panel. Hmm? Where is that TX-20? He’s toward the back (north) of the area. Go find him and slash him to knock off his helmet. Pick it up and put it on to use the Droid Panel. This will free Eeth Koth. You’ll automatically change scenes to Obi-Wan.

More Grievous

Seriously. How many times have you fought Grievous now? 16,433? Yes. That sounds about right.

The same old tactics prevail: Take out all enemies, toss object at Grievous to stun him, attack him, repeat. Do this for three hearts as you make your way south, toward the control room at the bottom of the screen. After three hearts, you get a quick cutscene and Grievous regains four hearts.

Note, if you’re having trouble stunning Grievous, then saber attack him until he stops in place and spins his lightsabers. Then, toss an object at him.

Now it’s not enough to stun him and saber attack him. Instead, you must now stun him (same old throw-an-object-at-him) and then Force Lift him. Once you have him in the air, toss him into a wall. Repeat for three hearts of damage and Grievous will run away, sealing you in.

Or so he thinks! Step on the blue Jedi Symbol and use it to cut a hole in the door. Ah, man! Another one? Yes, cut a hole in this door, too. Head along the hall until you get a cutscene and are in front of Grievous.

Attack Grievous

Attempt to attack Grievous and you’ll see Adi Gallia sneak in from behind. Quickly switch to her and attack Grievous. He’ll swing around and attack her. Switch back to Obi-Wan and attack Grievous from behind. Repeat until he runs away.

Aid Obi-Wan

At this point, the game will insist that you switch scenes. Do so by holding the Switch Character button and you’ll be Anakin in control of a Jedi Shuttle. Follow the blue arrow to a landing pad and land. Hop out and jump up the platforms to the blue Jedi Symbol (you can see Obi-Wan and Adi above). Use it to break the glass and then use another to cut a hole, thus revealing some power cables. Slash the cables to lower some platforms for Obi-Wan.

Up the Platforms

Switch scenes again so that you are back to Obi-Wan. If you have yet to build the LEGO pieces into a platform, do so now. Once you have the platform, use Force to lock it into place.

As a Jedi, double jump your way up. You can ignore the first Grapple Point as your Jedi can make it up. When you are directly to the right of the first Grapple Point, use Force on the crate on the next level. It’ll come down to you and provide a stepping stool to get up to the next platform.

This stepping stool is important as you’ll need to switch to your Clone Trooper and use the stepping stool to get up to the next platform. From there you can look up and to the right to see another Grapple Point. Grapple it to pull down the platform above.

Just below it is a yellow rectangle piece/grate. Shoot it to lower the other platform. Switch back to a Jedi and hop up the platforms. When you get to the first bouncy platform, press and HOLD the Jump button to get higher. Continue up in this manner, using the next two bouncy platforms. From the final bouncy platform, push up (north) to jump into the hallway.

Make a Torpedo Generator

You’ll see Grievous run to the right. Chase after him and you’ll see him escape. GRIEVOUS!!!

Go a bit farther to find a blue Jedi Symbol. Use it and cut a hole in the wall. Attack the wires you reveal to open the door to the right. Go through and you’ll be at a landing pad.

The goal here is to create a Torpedo Generator so that you can switch to Anakin’s ship and pick them up. To do this, destroy the crates near the flashing red panel (where the sparks are flying). Build the pieces into a lever. Pull it. Booya! Torpedoes.

Rescue Obi-Wan and Adi

Switch scenes to Anakin. You left him at a wall. Head back to your ship and hop in. Head right and pick up five torpedoes. Attack the four pink targets on the ship to lower the force field on Obi-Wan’s hangar bay. Fly there (blue arrow) and land. The mission will end after the cutscene.

Count Dooku

This series of chapters is pretty much a tutorial for the Real Time Strategy (RTS) element of this game. Please refer to the “RTS – Real-Time Strategy Levels” section near the end of this walkthrough for everything you need to know.

Chapter 1 – Battle of Geonosis (Geonosis)

This chapter in the game starts you right off with a simplified version of a Real Time Strategy (RTS) Mission. If you followed this walkthrough thus far, you just did your first RTS mission (Asajj – Chapter 6).

Please refer to the “RTS – Real-Time Strategy Levels” section near the end of this walkthrough for everything you need to know about this kind of level.

Getting Your Bearings

The objective in this level is to destroy all five power cores. This is actually pretty easy and doesn’t require you to use much strategy nor build anything.

Get an AT-TE

There are five enemy (red) bases which each contain a power core (the football trophy shaped structure with the red electricity). Two of the bases have shields over them, so that means you’ll have to run in there on foot and pull the lever to deactivate the shield…no big deal, really (feel free to destroy the shield generator if you wish).

Get an AT-TE and Destroy the Five Power Cores

The easiest thing to do is to hop into one of the AT-TE’s that is walking around (the huge six legged walker) and fire on each power core. If any enemy cannons are bothering you, take them out first. If any ground troops are in your way, just crush them. In this manner, I was quickly able to destroy all five cores without ever having to hop out of the AT-TE except to lower the two shields on the two bases.

You can feel free to use whatever technique you like, be it running up to and using your lightsaber on each core or locating the Torpedo Generator in the middle of the arena and using your speeder bike + torpedoes to do some damage.

No matter how you do it, when all five cores are destroyed the level will end.

Chapter 2 – Gungan General (Florrum)

Hey, look at that, another RTS level.

Please refer to the “RTS – Real-Time Strategy Levels” section near the end of this walkthrough for everything you need to know about this kind of level.

Getting Your Bearings

The objective here is to destroy the three power towers. However, you’ll need to use Torpedoes to do so. From the start, hop onto a Rhino…err…I mean Skalder and run around getting your bearings. There is one Power Tower in each of the three northernmost bases. Note that the NW and NE Power Towers are being protected by a Ray Shield, so you’ll need to destroy that (details later).

There are two torpedo depots, one in the middle base and one in the south-middle base. You’ll be using the one in the middle base.

Lower the Two Dome Shields

Each of the three Power Towers is at a base with shields. You know how to deactivate the two dome shields…just walk in and pull the lever at the shield generator.

Destroy the two Ray Sheilds

The NW Power Tower is protected by a Ray Shield stationed in the base to its south. Hop onto a Skalder (Rhino) and ram a Pirate Speeder Tank to knock the driver out. Hop into the tank and shoot at the silver Ray Shield until it’s toast.

Note: You only have about a minute in an enemy tank or enemy speeder that you take over. It will be airlifted out no matter what you do. So, just get used to ramming them and using them quickly.

The NE Power Tower is also protected by a Ray Shield stationed in the base to its south. Go there and destroy it in the same manner.

Destroy Cannons

Feel free to ride around and take out any enemy cannons that you see. It’s not necessary but does make life a lot easier.

Destroy the three Power Towers

You have done all of the prep work so now all three Power Towers are exposed. Use a tank (3 torpedo capacity) or speeder (1 torpedo capacity) to pick up torpedos. With them in tow, drive by any of the Power Towers. You’ll see a pink crosshair automatically appear on a Power Tower. Press the Fire Torpedo (Force/Grapple) button to shoot it. It may take a few torpedoes to destroy a Tower. Repeat until all three Towers are destoyed.

Chapter 3 – Jedi Crash (Quell)

Put Out the Fires!

Water Cannon 1

A flying mission! From the start, follow the blue arrow (to the right) to the first landing pad which is on fire. Land and head up and right to the special checkered wall.

Lightsaber Jump Walls
This is your first Lightsaber Wall. If you’ve ever played a “Prince of Persia” game, you know the concept here: You’ll be jumping back and forth between the left and right walls until you get to the top.

To initiate the jump, run at either wall (left or right) and jump at it. Continue to press in the direction of that wall (very important) and you’ll jab your lightsaber into the wall. Now, it’s just a matter of hitting the Jump button so that you go back and forth. At the top, do a double jump and push up to leave the wall and land on the upper platform.

After using the Lightsaber Jump Wall, you’ll be on an upper ledge with a blue/white checkered floor. Head up to the lever and pull it to reveal a large battery that you can push. Push it to the end of the track and it’ll connect to a water cannon, thus putting out the fire below.

Water Cannon 2

Get back in your ship and follow the blue arrow to the right to the next landing pad. Get out and head to the bottom of the screen, dropping off the ledges. Now in the lower area, head left and you’ll see a blue Jedi Symbol. Use it to cut a hole in the wall which will reveal a broken lever (needs power).

Head to the left to find some LEGO pieces on the ground. Build them and a power coupling will be repaired, thus supplying power to the lever. Go back and pull the lever to activate the water cannon.

Water Cannon 3

Get back in your ship, take off and follow the blue arrow to the right to the next landing pad. Land and get out. Head right and enter the hallway. When you get to the gap in the floor, use Force to pull out the blue platform from the wall. Hop across it and you’ll find the final lever. Pull it to activate the water cannon.

Rescue the Republic Cruiser

You need to free the cruiser from the tractor beam. Fly to the landing pad above the tractor beam and land. Head north to the fence and use Force on the huge dark gray and purple pile of pieces. A lever will form on the right. Pull it. Hey, you just made a Torpedo Depot!

Get back in your ship and fly through the pink orb to pick up three torpedoes. Shoot each of the three pink targets (all nearby) to free the cruiser.

Rescue Aayla Secura and Commander Bly

Once that’s complete, a hangar bay door will open on the side of the ship. Fly near it and land there. Hop out and you’ll see that you need to take out 9 Super Heavy Battle Droids. Once they’re defeated Aayla and Bly will join you.

Switch to Cmd. Bly. and locate the red Grapple Point to the left of the main door. Use your Grapple and pull. The door will open. Run down the hall and enter the Cruiser at the end.

You are now flying a Republic Cruiser. It has torpedoes and missiles. Nice! Fly in the direction of the pink arrow toward another tractor beam. You may need to fly under a battle cruiser to get to it. When you get near, you’ll see three pink targets for your torpedoes. Fire away!

The last thing you need to do is look for the blue arrow under the battleship. This is where you can dock (you’ll float up and into the battleship). Do so to end the level.

Chapter 4 – Defenders of Peace (Maridun)

Create a Power Core for a Base

Hello blue studs! Grab them and then head right, using Force to lift the pieces off of Commander Bly and you’ll build a speeder. Switch to Bly and go back to the ship. Locate the two Grapple Points. Use your Grapple on one and pull. Then, if Wag Too (the new character) doesn’t join in on his own, switch to him and Grapple the other point. Pull to open the ship’s door.

You’ll now see three dials and some pieces. Build the pieces into a speeder. Use the Force to turn each dial until studs come out of each one. When all three are turned, an energy ball will float up. Use the Force to move it to the center of the field out yonder. You have created a power core for your base! Yes, just when you think that this isn’t an RTS level, it is.

Build a Cannon

Head over to your base (the blue ring) and you’ll notice that as you walk around, gray pads appear. You can build on these pads. Hit the prompted button to open your Build Menu and select the AV-7 Cannon. Once it’s built, man it and shoot at the silver wall to destroy it.

Build a “Small Air Support” Structure (NW Enemy Base)

Hop on a speeder and cruise to the NW enemy base. All that is there is a barracks. Lay in to it with your speeder’s blasters until it blows up. You now control the base! Quickly hop off your speeder and step onto any gray pad. Open your Build Menu and build a Small Air Support >> AT-RT. Go ahead and build a cannon here too.

Destroy the Ray Shields Protecting the Defoliator

Hop onto a speeder and head to the NE of the area. Here you’ll see the Defoliator (looks like a tank) being protected by three beams of energy, each coming from a Ray Shield (you can actually see the white line on the map representing each Ray Shield’s origin). You need to destroy the three Ray Shields so that you can free the Defoliator.

Ray Shield 1 (North-Middle)

The north-middle Ray Shield’s base has a pink dome shield over it. Dome shields protect bases from vehicle attacks and cannons. However, ground troops can get through. To deactivate the shield, simply pull the lever next to it. With it deactivated you can attack the cannon, the shield generator itself, and the Ray Shield. Use whatever vehicle you like or, better yet, use the cannon you built on the NW base (remember, when manning a cannon you can press and HOLD the Attack button to aim and lock on to a target).

Once you have taken this base, build an AV-7 Cannon (Gold), aka, a Gold Cannon, on it. Gold Cannons are very difficult to destroy and you have a few silver-plated structures to deal with in a moment.

Ray Shield 2 (Center)

The center base (the enemy base directly in the middle) has a silver Ray Shield, a silver Cannon, and a Small Air Support. Hop into the Gold Cannon you built in the North-Middle base and target these three structures, one at a time. You’ll quickly destroy them. Build “Air Support >> AT-AP” on this newly acquired base.

Ray Shield 3 (West-Middle)

The final Ray Shield is nothing special. You simply need to destroy it however you wish. The Air Support >> AT-AP that you just built is handy, but not necessary. You could attack it with a Jedi or a nearby cannon.

Destroy the Defoliator

The defoliator is now left unprotected. Attack it with whatever you wish to destroy it.

Chapter 5 – Weapons Factory (Geonosis)

Hey, how about that, it’s another RTS level.

Please refer to the “RTS – Real-Time Strategy Levels” section near the end of this walkthrough for everything you need to know about this kind of level.

Destroy the First Base

At the start of this chapter there is only one enemy base. Seems like a good idea to go attack it! Hop on a speeder and head there via the bridge. You’ll see there are three barracks on the enemy base. Use whatever vehicle or character you like to destroy them and the base is yours!

Taking Bases (Part 1)

SE Base

Hey! What the? There are now four enemy bases and the one you just took over is back in their control. Find a speeder and hop on. Drive to the SE of the map. Here you will find a “hidden” base, that is, a base that is neutral and doesn’t have anything built on it. Build a cannon on it.

NE Base

Man the cannon of the SE base and attack the base to your north until it’s destroyed. Head there and build a cannon on it (if you need studs, hop on speeder and run over the breakable rocks and droid troopers).

SW and West-Middle Base

Head to the SW enemy base which should only have a barracks and attack it however you wish to take control of it. Build a cannon on it and attack the enemy silver cannon to the north (you’re attacking the West-Middle base). Clear out this West-Middle base and build a cannon on it.

NW Base

This is the last base. Take out the structures however you wish.

Taking Bases (Part 2>

Holy base stealing, Anakin! Yes, after taking all of the bases above, you essentially start over, this time with six enemy bases in need of your destructive powers. This is basically the gold and silver structure training session.

Prep Work

Hop on to your speeder and drive around destroying any Barracks, Small Air Support, etc. structure that is neither silver nor gold (Yukon Cornelius anybody?). This will help to both lessen the attacks on you and generate some studs. It also gives you an opportunity to recon the silver and gold structures.

Silver and Gold Structures
Just in case you’ve forgotten, silver structures require explosive weapons, either from a tank, cannon, or from Rocket Troopers. Gold structures require rapid fire, either from Blaster Troopers or the ray gun of the RX-200 tank.

NW Base

The only base you can capture without too much trouble is the NW Base. Run there on foot and attack the cannon until its droid hops out. Take control of the cannon and destroy the silver barracks and then the shield generator. Hop out of the cannon and destroy it. The base is now yours.

Build an Air Support >> RX-200 Tank and then, if you have any studs left over, a cannon. The RX-200 is going to help you destroy all of the gold structures.

Destroying Gold Structures

Now that you have an RX-200, hop in and drive around to each base looking for gold structures. When you see one, press and HOLD the Attack button to aim at it. Destroying all of these structures will also net you a lot of studs.

Note, if your RX-200 is destroyed, simply look for another one to hop into or head back to your Air Support structure at the NW base and call in another.

Destroying Silver Structures

Head back to your NW base and build another Air Support structure. This time, choose the AT-TE. Yes, this costs 50,000 studs, but you should have enough by now and it’s worth it! With this powerful walker at your disposal, walk around and attack anything and everything.

If there is anything left at this point (gold or silver or normal) use the appropriate vehicle (either RX-200 or AT-TE) and eliminate structures until all of the bases are yours. You’ll get a cutscene.

Get to the Weapons Factory

The RTS section of this chapter is over. Go up to the blue Jedi Symbol and use it to cut a hole in the rock wall (okay, the whole wall falling is pretty funny). Hop into the tunnel and head to the end where you will find two triangle carvings. Attack the triangle carving on the right to knock out three pieces. Use Force on each one to move it into its place on the left triangle carving. The left door will open.

Go through, attack enemies, and make your way to the next dead end where you’ll see two more triangle carvings and a blue Jedi Symbol. You need to find all three triangle pieces. Use the Jedi Symbol to cut a hole and reveal one piece. Move it into place.

Use a lightsaber toss (press and HOLD the lightsaber button and target the piece) to knock out the piece in the carving on the right.

Use a lightsaber toss to attack the shelf/structure to the left of the left carving (on the left wall). This will knock down the final piece. Move it into place and the door will open.

Head down this hallway to the end, taking out enemies as you go. At the dead end, destroy everything in sight: the bones in the middle and the shelves on the walls surrounding the area (use lightsaber tosses). When you’ve destroyed enough objects, you’ll see pieces that you can build in the middle of the room. Do so and you’ll build a trampoline.

Hop onto the trampoline and HOLD the jump button to jump up. You’ll get a cutscene.

Destroy the Weapons Factory

When play resumes you’ll be at the power generator of the weapons facility. To destroy it, you’re going to have to be sneaky.

To start, ignore the slowly moving sentry ship as best as you can. You want to focus on attacking the droids, and attacking the TX-20 droid in particular. The TX-20 droid is the one that looks different, a little taller and more human. When you attack him, his helmet will pop off and land on the ground. Quickly run to it and hit the button shown to you (Force/Grapple button) to put on his helmet. Run to either of the droid panels (one on the left, one on the right) and activate it. Run across and activate the other. This opens two panels on the power generator.

With both of the droid panels activated, focus your attention on the sentry ship. It can be tamed by attacking each of its two circular side-guns (they glow blue if they are still active) and then by attacking the cockpit at the top-front (it’ll glow blue, too). Use regular saber attacks on the side-guns and a lightsaber toss to attack the cockpit. Once all three points have been hit, you can hop in the ship.

Now in control of the ship, pilot it over to the two panels you exposed using the droid panels and let loose with the ship’s cannons. Once the power generator is toast, this mission will finally end.

Chapter 6 – Legacy of Terror (Geonosis)

Repair the Right Side of the Door Crest

From the start head right to find a Lightsaber Jump Wall that is covered with gold rocks. Gold objects need rapid fire to destroy. Fortunately, you have some clone troopers at your disposal.

Please see “Commanding Clone Troopers” in the Assaj Ventress level: Chapter 5 – Innocents of Ryloth for complete details on commanding troops.

To get them to destroy the gold wall, switch to Commander Cody and walk up to the group of red radio signal troopers. You’ll see a button prompt (Force/Grapple button). Push it to get their attention (they become interconnected). Walk them over to the gold wall and then press and hold the Attack button so that you can aim and LOCK ON to the gold wall. When you have a lock, release the Attack button and the troopers will rapid fire the wall. There are three sections of wall, so you’ll need to repeat this process, including re-commanding them by hitting the Force/Grapple button each time.

Once the wall is destroyed, use the Lightsaber Jump Wall with a Jedi to get up to the higher ledge. Here you’ll find a checkered path, a block to move, some debris blocking the path, and some missing floor tiles. Destroy the debris and then repair the path. Push the block/statue off the ledge.

Hop down and move toward the door with the green crest on it. The statue/block revealed some pieces for you to build. Do so to repair the right half of the crest.

Repair the Left Side of the Door Crest

Head to the left side of the area to find a multi-colored tetris-esque wall. Do a ground pound attack near it (jump in the air and hit your attack button) to knock the pieces out.

Use the Force to put the pieces onto the purple LEGO strip to make a staircase of sorts so that you can jump up to the higher ledge. This doesn’t have to be pretty and the pieces don’t have to form a solid block. Just finangle them so you can jump up however you can manage. (If you’re using the text-only version, I’ll try to explain my layout: yellow – bottom left; blue – bottom right; red – on the yellow and blue, hanging a bit over to the left; green – on top of the red).

Note: When you come back through here in Free Play you can use a Sith to reveal the proper pattern at the red sparklies on the wall.

Switch to Commander Cody and hop up to the upper ledge. Use your Grapple on the Grapple Point to make a bridge from the column you pulled. Walk up it and it’ll collapse. Hop down and build the resulting pieces to fix the left side of the green crest on the door. It’ll open. Go through.

The Dark Tunnel

Head along the dark tunnel, destroy the rock wall, and then use the Grapple Point at the dead end to break the wall and continue. Continue on and use the blue Jedi Symbol to cut through the next wall. Eventually, you’ll get to the real dead end where you’ll see a silver statue and a blue statue’s base. You need to find the pieces to rebuild the blue statue.

Destroy all of the objects near the statue base to find two arms and a head. The rest of the body is hidden up above in the blue sections of the hanging columns. Use a lightsaber toss to target all three blue sections (you can hit all three in one toss) and the pieces will fall. Rebuild the statue using Force in this order: leg, leg, torso, arm, arm, head. The hatch will open drop down.

The Dark Tunnel – Lower Level

After dropping into this lower level you’ll be attacked by zobmie Geonosians. Head right and locate the door from which the enemies are coming. Push the column along the checkered path to block the door. Head left and so the same for this door, except use your Grapple on the Grapple Point to collapse the column. Once you do this, the main wall will collapse and you can go through.

Head along this tunnel, attacking enemies, and a wall will collapse. You’ll see a blue Jedi Symbol. Use it to slash the rocks and then use Force (press and HOLD for a few seconds) to toss the rocks out of the way. Continue on and you’ll see Luminara.

Rescue Luminara – Fight Queen Karina

What the? How do some run-of-the-mill Geonosians steal two lightsabers? Anyway, you are without your weapon but do have your Force powers.

To start, use Force on the pillar to the left of Queen Karina (the Jabba the Hutt lookalike). It’ll collapse and the queen will begin to shoot rocks at you (look like golf balls). Avoid them until you see a purple one come out. It’ll land on the ground. Use Force to move it into its slot on the right wall. Repeat for the other two slots.

You now have a staircase to get up to the two enemies who are holding your lightsabers. Attack one of them to get your lightsaber back and you’ll see a blue Jedi Symbol appear. Use it to strip the rock shell off of another pillar. Use Force to smash the pillar.

The Queen will now start shooting time-delayed bombs at you. See that silver wall on the left? Stand near it and make her lob the bombs at you, and thus the wall. Run away before they explode and they’ll do a bit of damage to the wall. Repeat until the wall is toast. Note, you can saber attack the bombs to move them closer to the wall if you must.

When the wall is destroyed it will reveal a Lightsaber Jump Wall. Jump up it to the blue Jedi Symbol and use the symbol to strip another pillar. Use Force to knock down the pillar.

A blue Jedi Symbol will now appear in front of the Queen. Run up to it and use it. You’ll get a cutscene.

Run!!!

Hordes of zombie Genosians are after you. Run toward the bottom of the screen. If they overtake you, you’ll start back at a checkpoint, so it’s really no big deal. When you successfully outrun them, the level will end.

Your First Red Brick

Please note that it was after completing both the Asajj Ventress and Count Dooku story levels that I had earned enough studs (500,000) to buy the x2 Red Brick. I recommend that this is the first Red Brick that you buy so you can start gaining studs more quickly (which makes having enough studs to buy more Red Bricks a lot easier).

Full details about the locations, cost, and strategies for Red Bricks can be found in the “Red Bricks” section of the “Hub” section at the end of this walkthough. I just thought it was worth mentioning in case you haven’t looked at that section yet.
