LCU Seminary Recognizes ETS Award Winners

The Evangelical Theological Society (ETS) Midwest Region meeting was held March 19-20 at Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, Minn. Two Lincoln Christian University Seminarians, Joe Gordon and Ryan Hemmer, were invited to deliver papers in the graduate student paper competition.

LCU Seminary will be leading a study tour throughout Turkey and Greece December 27, 2010 - January 8, 2011. Seminary Deans, Dr. Robert Lowery (Professor of New Testament) and Dr. Paul Boatman (Professor of Pastoral Care and Counseling) will be hosting the tour. Whether you are a student, alum, or friend of the University, this trip may be taken for college credit or for personal enrichment. 4/02/2010: It was recently announced that a new book titled "Dragons, John, and Every Grain of Sand - Essays on the Book of Revelation in Honor of Dr. Robert Lowery" to honor Robert A. Lowery, Ph.D., Dean of Bible and Theology and Professor of New Testament in the Seminary will be published this year.

Be Aware of Scholarship Application Deadlines

02/24/2010: The Seminary has a wide variety of scholarships available for students. They have differing deadlines, amounts, and criteria. Endowed scholarships may be available to new and returning students, but must be applied for before March 1. Use this application form to apply for all endowed scholarships. The Restoration Scholarship, President's Scholarship, and Dean's Scholarship application deadline is April 1. All applicants must have applied to the Seminary and been accepted before they can apply for scholarships.

02/24/2010: Current students should plan now to enroll in LCU summer classes. More than a dozen Seminary courses are being offered in the fields of Bible/Theology and Christian Ministries. Summer classes are offered at various times and in a variety of formats - including one-week intensive sessions and online. The registration period for summer and fall classes is March 22 through April 16 for current students. Not a current student? New student orientation and registration is scheduled for May 20.
