I just love going to the night market here at Taman Melawati. The food found there are not only good to eat but they are also all reasonably priced… and they are also new food to discover all the time. For example I recently found out about cockles satay and because the it sounds really strange, I only took a two sticks to share with Azwaj. Bad decision, because not only was it delicious, till now I couldn’t get a second helping as the stall does not sell it all the time :(

Much like discovering new things while on the web like structured settlements for instance, last week we found another new food discovery, Fried Mushroom with Cheese. It was selling for RM2 a pack and it was really good. The mushroom was fried in some kind of flour and when we bought it we were asked if we wanted cheese and chilli sauce to go with it. We opted to only have cheese. Anyway, a definitely repeat purchase for sure.

In another life, I could be a baker. I love baking when I was growing up. I took up the subject home economics when I was in secondary school and bake something for tea time on most afternoon.

In another life, I could be a singer.  I was in the school choir for 4years and I really enjoyed my karaoke session with friends.

Of course all that would be in another life.. but one thing is for certain, I would never be a guitarist or own an Ampeg Bass coz I simply don’t have what it takes. Those things need a lot of practicing to master and I don’t have the patience.. lol!

One of the things that I would love to have when we have our own house is some sort of outdoor pavilions that is done so beautifully that we could have our daily breakfast at. It would be surrounded by hanging pots of flowers that would give out such a nice scent that butterflies could not resist but come visiting . It will seem like me and Azwaj were dining in the garden of Eden.. lol!!..

What will be on the menu? Well.. an array of Malay savory delicacy just like the one shown below of course.
