This month the Coach Jeff Podcast reaches a milestone 200 episodes of podcasting with a special 200th episode edition of the Coach Jeff podcast on September 28th, which marks the day Coach Jeff started podcasting 3 years ago.

Coach Jeff who is a professional athlete, triathlete and coach started podcasting in 2008 as a way of connecting the athletes he was coaching with personalised fitness programs. Since that time Coach Jeff expanded his stable of shows to include shows on Running, Multisports, Triathlon and motivation on the Lifestyle PodNetwork.

In addition the Lifestyle PodNetwork (LPN) have upgraded their podcast delivery platforms allowing more listeners to access and listen to LPN shows. The changes are integral to the expansion plans for LPN.

“When we first considered our expansion plans, we knew that we would need to grow our server capacity,” explains co-founder of the Lifestyle PodNetwork James Williams

“The process of bringing new shows onto the Network and the platform, means more downloads and more website visitors. The new platform allows us to scale as the number of shows and the combined audience grows.”

As part of this process, the founding shows will be migrated to the new platform while new shows are added.

“We are really pleased with the quality of the shows we are bringing onto the network, and believe that by the end of the year we will reach our target of 80 shows in production.” James adds.

The Lifestyle PodNetwork has an aggressive goal of adding an additional 30 shows to the network during 2011, as well as developing new marketing opportunities for digital content.

Over the last year the network received recognition as a featured provider in the iTunes store, and launched an iPhone App so that listeners could discover new shows on-the-go.
