Karl Lagerfeld presented the Chanel Cruise 2010 Collection in Venice on May 14th with the catwalk being set up on a boardwalk on Lido beach. “Venice has a genuine dark and mysterious side to it that fascinated me. I really like the Italian spirit and the Venetian lifestyle, and let’s not forget that Coco Chanel came back to Venice for 10 years,” said the designer.

The invitations for the show featured an image of Coco Chanel sitting on the Lido beach which perfectly complemented the romantic spirit of this extraordinary city and the charming Cruise collection. The guests sat on wooden chairs and enjoyed the gondola stripes and silky silhouettes, Thirties bobs and the many Venetian references on the runway. Black sunglasses resembled the Venetian masks, gold brocade and lamé lace reminisced Byzantine elegance, and the classic Chanel bouclé suits and tweed jackets brought the brand’s desired high fashion signature appeal.

Contemporary Japanese artist Takashi Murakami is set to launch another collaborative collection with fashion brand Louis Vuitton. The new Multicolor Spring Color Pallet features wallets and small leather goods, including the hot pink interior makeover of my favorite “Eugenie wallet” as well as the plush toys shown in the special animated video for the collection “Superflat First Love.” The colors are vibrant, hot and exciting, so go on and fall in love this coming Summer!

Hot actor Robert Pattinson, known for his charming vampire character in the film “Twilight” graced the April 2009 cover of GQ magazine. The young star is not just insanely attractive with his gorgeous eyes, dangerous look and messy rock style, but he is also very open and honest. For the GQ interview Pattinson confesses that he does not watch his movies. “I went out and sat in the car,” he says, “having a full-blown panic attack,” after watching the first ten minutes of the “Twilight” premier. And for all the ladies out there, Robert is still single despite the numerous love rumours, “There’s literally not a single [true] story that could be written about me. There’s this thing about my supposed girlfriend. There’s this one girl who’s consistently mentioned. It’s like, ‘He’s dating this Brazilian model.’ … What’s her name — Annelyse. I’ve never met her.”

Model Daria Werbowy presents the second half of the H&M Summer 2009 collection by famous designer Matthew Williamson for these ad shots taken by photographer Solve Sundsbo. The ad campaign is very colorful and has the perfect summer background of the tropical beach and azure sky. Werbowy and Williamson together attended the launch of the collection at The Majesty on April 28, 2009 in New York City.
