Best-selling ghost-written celebrity author Sarah Palin is making a stop in that hot bed of alien activity, Roswell, New Mexico on December 1. So far none of the Republican candidates for governor have made plans to drop by and welcome her, but maybe the famous kingmaking Alien will!

During the 2008 presidential election, the Alien, in a stunning reversal, shifted his endorsement  at the last moment from Obama to McCain. In past elections, the Alien’s endorsement was a valid indicator of who would win–in 2008, not so much. However, as the Weekly World News reports, the Alien still continues to be a player in the political realm, so it’s likely he might want to anoint Sarah Palin, though he may just invite Todd to share a hot tub like he did with GOP spouses Laura Bush and Cindy McCain. Gods know Palin needs the help, since her Fox loyalists seem to be turning their back on her–except Bil O’Reilly who asked last night why the left are afraid of Palin and railed against those who dared to compare her to Eva Peron.

The Santa Fe New Mexican reports:

A spokesman for GOP gubernatorial candidate Doug Turner — a self-described moderate Republican — when asked Tuesday about whether Turner would attend the Roswell book signing said, “We’ve not been invited to participate in the Sarah Palin book tour, so Doug won’t be on hand. I haven’t looked at his schedule for early December, but he will probably be out shaking hands across the state on a tour of his own.” Asked if he’d be seeking Palin’s support in the primary, spokesman Zack Ireland said, “Probably not — with no disrespect to Sarah or her fans.”

A campaign spokesman for Susana Martinez also said his candidate won’t be in Roswell on Dec. 1. “Susana is going to be working in Cruces that entire week.” As far as seeking Palin’s support in the governor’s race, Jamie Estrada said Tuesday, “Susana is focused on earning the support of New Mexicans as demonstrated by the endorsements she has recently received from people like (Bernalillo Country Sheriff) Darren White and other elected officials.”

A spokesman for the Janice Arnold-Jones campaign said Tuesday that Arnold-Jones was campaigning in Grant County, and he hadn’t been able to reach her.

A spokesman for candidate Allen Weh did not respond by press time to a request for comment.

Wow, and di she ever! Wallace went on The Rachel Maddow Show last night, and Palin came out looking pretty bad. Of course Palin;s stock response has been heard in the Barbara Walters interviewm basically that these are professional campaigners and if their candidate looses, then they have ot make themselves look good to get the next gig.

So who would you trust? Wallace who helped orchestrate the John Kerry flip-flop smear or Sarah Palin who says she’d rather write books than have a talk show?

Well then, Judge, for what reasons do you think McCain chose her? Judge Napolitano said that while he agrees with her foreign policy, Palin

does not posses the mental capacity to be President of the United States.

Then, co-host Brian Kilmeade and Judge Napolitano go on to discuss Palin’s “rehabiliation” appearances on Oprah and Barbara Walters, remarking on her explanation of the grand Katie Couric fail, and calling the former governor

for thinking the CBS anchor would do a lighthearted piece about motherhood with a vice presidential candidate.

What is up, Fox? Is the glow off the neo-con Queen Esther? Has the conservative media gotten tired of her snubbing gatherings of Republican lawmakers? (Gosh, has Fox gone elitist?)

Or have they realized she’s nuts as bunny, crazy as two acres of snakes, insanely ambitious? Or just a royal pain in the ass?

Oh and she didn’t know Bristol was sexually active and says Levi had only been in their living room once before he helped Bristol announce the impending blessed event–a direct contradiction to his claims that he stayed at the Palins’ quite a bit.

BTW, Palin says she’s not against birth control!  Wait, wut? And had she known that a photo form her Runners’ World photo shoot would end up on the cover of Newsweek, she would have never agreed to doing an interview with them. Uh, Sarah, there are these things called “releases” you sign…

Heres’ the high-larity: Walters asks her about having a talk show and Palin responds:

I’d probably rather write than talk!

Which is pretty funny because she had a ghost writer on Going Rogue!

She rates Barack Obama as 4 on his performance, citing economic and national security issues, and hopes one day he might do something that warrants a Nobel prize. And she doesn’t discount running for President, but like she said on Oprah–and you’ll hear some of the same exact phrases with Walters that she used on Oprah

Utah Republican Congressman Jason Chaffetz is sure trying to make a name for himself–mainly by being a moran. In September he caused a ruckus at the Salt Lake City airport by refusing to go through the body scanning security device. And yes he asked

Don’t you know who I am?

along with swearing at a TSA worker and grabbing a supervisor’s badge.

And now he thinks Carrie Prejean would make a great politician! He told TMZ

[Carrie] has the ability to draw crowds and if she has a strong message to go with that, who knows what she can do? She has star power which can open doors. We’ve all made mistakes when we were 17. [The sex tape] is going to be an impediment, but people are excited about her convictions and her beliefs.

From this comment it’s pretty clear the Republican congressman hasn’t had a chance to catch up on the news–or maybe he only watches Fox!–since it’s been widely reported (except on Fox) that Carrie Prejean made the tapes when she was 20! And lied to reporters, saying she was underage. But Chaffetz is right–no doubt she could stimulate attention and get a rise out of some constituents as she excites them about her beliefs.

In his analysis  a GOP potential candidates for President–short form, everyone pretty much sucks–Dick Morris called Sarah Palin a “flake” for resigning as  Alaska governor, saying she was playing into the media portrayal of her. He added that she was

the only governor who resigned without going to jail

He’s right about Palin, but wrong about governors who have stepped down from office: Nelson Rockefeller, Spiro Agnew, Janet Napolitano, Kathleen Seibelius, and Morris’ former boss Bill Clinton all  stepped down to run for or accept higher office.

And of course, it wouldn’t be politics without resignation over sex scandals with Eliot Spitzer,  Jim McGreevey and Mark Sanford being the hot dogs in that category. Arizona had two governors leave office: Meecham was impeached, F. Fife Symington was convicted for fraud and thus under the state’s constitution had to step down…

But Morris is right about Palin being a flake.

Time to whip out the magnifying glass and play spot the shlong! The most hyped member in months,  the Wasilla Wang, the Alaskan peninsula of passion, the man-meat hockey stick, the penis that destroyed Palin, Levi’s Johnston, will not be seen in Playgirl.

Playgirl spokesman Daniel Nardicio released a statement blaming Tank Jones, Levi’s manager/factotum.

He did not give ‘full-frontal’ as his manager Tank Jones reported he would. We’re thrilled with the photos we got, and are confident people will love them. Although there may be glimpses, we did not get full on frontal nudity.

A glimpse? Why, Levi is teasing us much his former-mother-in-law-to-be, ex-Gov GILF teases Republican gatherings about appearing! Shame on you Levi, we thought you were better than that.

Maybe Lil Levi is just camera shy and Tank felt the shrinkage wouldn’t be good for his client’s image. But isn’t that why there’s photoshop?
