Salad Fingers: entre lo gracioso, lo bizarro y terrorífico.

I'm not an artist by profession or trade. I just think experience in painting, drawing, photography, writing, are part of a more general reflection I call Path of Unity . This way of understanding the world and live accordingly, involves recognizing the unity of all things and serve that result.

In a world full of selfishness, is only possible transformation of social reality if humans understand that true happiness occurs when we find our will in harmony with the whole.Getting people to think in that sense, is my main intention.

Seeking help promote empathetic attitude in recognizing the value of others. Overcoming selfishness that immobilize us in rigid interests and unfounded fears, allows us to resolve conflicts in better shape and live a happier from an open and enriched understanding, altruism and affects life perspective.

In this way I try to convey through various forms of expression that development, the importance of diversity, the beauty of simplicity and the connection between all things. That gives me a deep joy. The art in this way is a symbolic vehicle for me to convey the value of the unit.

Without generalizing, many artists have given people the means, in hypnotic and uncritical inertia occur, nullifying his imagination and wonder. Am I an artist or rather not?

In it were my good friend and I when we went to required collation question: why make art? I know almost all you creative being has a kind of mutant germ perpetuation.

It is a common human inclination. Finally, it is much of the momentum that allows us to survive as a species: reprodúcete. Having children is a clear example of the execution of that impulse. In doing this can become creative activities to give life to a work. Be it creative activity. Whether or not defined it as art. But here's the dilemma: What is art Who decides what is or is not? How's the matter?

Basically I do not think anybody has any authority to define such questions. It has been a consensus among intellectuals, artists, philosophers, etc. over time and almost never agree one hundred percent. Valentina Avilés Among stories and pictures

When re-draw it reality, or even transmute the world of stories and vivid scribbles, Valentina Avilés is able to capture on paper the images stored in your eyes.

Exaggerated characters, dressed as animals, colors that are hidden within the pages of books and even textures that play with imagination forms are some characteristics of jobs that Valentina has proposed in his drawings for children's stories. Meticulous and perfectionist, takes 6 years recreating your own reality artwork.

From that moment the snowball grew and grew exponentially and inevitably. Just one semester after completing their first project, members of the Association for Research and Popular Education Autogestiva, AC (IEPAAC) invite her to participate in the illustration of teaching materials for children. In 2011 she found work in the Editorial Dante, where he developed projects like the illustrations from the collection of classic tales of Hans Christian Andersen and the Brothers Grimm , among many others, gradually, he would slide featuring on his pencil on paper.

Ink, watercolor, digital and recently metal engraving, are some of the techniques that Valentina has experienced and which makes clear his continuing hunger for new learning and polishing their quest for a personal style followed in consolidating his career.

Illustrator currently is developing a personal project with her sister, together plan to create a storybook in which Valentina illustrated stories to write Gaby (his sister) to wrap their creativity and imagination of children.

Valentina talks us that in future plans arises focus all your energy on putting a publishing workshop where she can work on their design projects and children's illustrations, and at the same time work as a school where we can share the knowledge of all those who get drunk with the world of graphic arts.

Throughout this road traveled Valentina Avilés , are of course different sources of inspiration that always guide, teach and define the personal style of an artist who continues to grow. The Social Media is a tool that more and more companies are using the strategy of advertising and communication. Today, creative competition through social networks by various consumer brands entertains and shows us a laugh from time to time. What many do not know is who is behind the computer every day devising phrases, contests, taking complaints, and other features to keep us happy and satisfied as customers.

We had the opportunity to interview Leslie Meyenberg , currently being Community Manager at Sports Marketing Circus , an independent advertising agency with offices in Mexico City, Buenos Aires and Madrid. This is what he shared with us:

Manufacturing : How many companies will now handle your Social Media?

Leslie Meyenberg : Two.

Manufacturing : Can you briefly describe the activities you do to manage a social media account?

Meyenberg Leslie : From the most "basic" it is to create content for the page according to the communication that is managing the brand at that time for any specific campaign or promotion, to the more complex it is to create reports growth (not not all data throws you Facebook). Well, that goes in the middle of creating dynamic (because you see that it is fashionable to give away tickets to a thousand things and through the networks) and control awards, covering events, attend and follow up complaints from users etc. It's hard work, and users are always online and therefore, me too. After all, never know when someone is going to leave "something unforgivable" in your food or product, so as a community manager, you should always be alert.

Manufacturing : How do you think it is you perceived your work?

Meyenberg Leslie : I think from last year and is being given the seriousness that corresponds to this position, I think some before I had a concept of something very "easy" or that anyone could make. Leslie Meyenberg : Do not take staff grotesque or negative comments, especially when by "curiosity" or whatnot users favoring competition visit any of the accounts that I'm in charge and only comment for commenting (we call it). Stumble upon strange people on the internet ... And it is not always cool. But hey, learn to deal with all types of users is part of the chamba. And of course, try to be as 24/7 possible pending bills.

Manufacturing : In your opinion, how much do you think it depends on the success of a company today your Social Media?

Leslie Meyenberg : Social networks are key tools for users to get in touch with brands ... Because I mean, how many times a customer comes mark the number on the back of the packaging to clarify any doubts or complain? Now communication is very accessible, and whether the company can make you feel that closeness to their customers, and on the other side.
