As a little girl, I often wondered why there were no dolls that looked like me. When I went shopping with my mother, I would see white and black dolls, but I never saw dolls that represented my Latina culture - and that always made me feel unimportant.DREAMTEAM studioshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08416139242241145976noreply@blogger.comBlogger3125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7961274310641753590.post-23603740990000215352011-08-27T18:47:00.000-07:002011-10-03T17:31:36.538-07:00<div style="text-align: center;"> <b><a href="http://content.yudu.com/Library/A1tsuy/OMTimesSeptemberamp1/resources/index.htm?referrerUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.yudu.com%2Fitem%2Fdetails%2F399336%2FOM-Times-September---1-2-Edition">OM Times Magazine September 1/2 2011</a></b><br /> pg. 58 : Movers &amp; Shakers<br /> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: center;"> <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #073763; font-size: large;">A Story of Giving</span></div> <div style="text-align: center;"> <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/dezengo/6086709781/" title="OM Times Sept 2011 - A Story of Giving by deZengo, on Flickr"><img alt="OM Times Sept 2011 - A Story of Giving" height="500" src="http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6206/6086709781_abdf61a654.jpg" width="386" /></a></div> <div style="text-align: center;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: center;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: center;"> <object style="height: 390px; width: 640px;"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/yB-CFT3cIWs?version=3"> <param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"> <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"> <embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/yB-CFT3cIWs?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="360"></object></div> <br /> A Story of Giving<br /> <br /> Ms. Pearson had a dream to bring a reasonably priced Latino Doll to the little girls who otherwise might not have one. After she retired from the military, she decided it was time to do something about it. Throughout her personal and professional history, Ms. Pearson has been known for her humanitarian acts of kindness. This story is no different. Once she heard about Humanity Healing International projects in Uganda, she once again offered to help. Donating a huge shipment of dolls to be donated to children in need. Thank you Mary for always being a tool for the creator and for sharing your light with us!<br /> <br /> My name is Gabriella, but you can call me Gabby!<br /> <br /> I am so exited that we are going to be friends and that you will become a part of my family.<br /> <br /> My grandma is the best cook and she has promised to teach me how to make her Christmas Tamales because I am a big girl now!<br /> <br /> I know that we will be able to learn many things from each other. Every year when it is really hot outside, my Dad makes ice cones for all the kids in the neighborhood, maybe he'll show us how to make them.<br /> <br /> You and I are going to have so much fun together!<br /> <br /> <a href="http://www.laninasworld.com/">http://www.laNinasWorld.com</a><br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> tags:<br /> laninasworld, marypearson, latino, dolls, love, giving, sharing, creatingchange, deZengodesigns, sacredspacestudio, omtimesmagazine, humanityhealingUnknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7961274310641753590.post-26925679225166437162011-08-27T17:55:00.000-07:002011-10-03T13:28:07.252-07:00<div style="text-align: center;"> <a href="http://www.isupportjesuschrist.com/" target="_blank">I Support Jesus Christ</a></div> <div style="text-align: center;"> <a href="http://www.isupportjesuschrist.com/" target="_blank"><img class="align-center" src="http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6150/6013054891_953250e16c_t.jpg?width=100" style="padding: 2px;" width="100" /></a></div> <div style="text-align: center;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: center;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: center;"> <a href="http://www.humanityhealing.org/" target="_blank">Humanity Healing</a>&nbsp;</div> <div style="text-align: center;"> <a href="http://api.ning.com/files/4IFRv6mjJvYc8CnnoRWPNuX*jmfCl994N7W3iXFlVUttMl5t*M*tndmOLAehADJnZ951nVBZocpkbRTrNeQcXCOw5sSa-J8P/HHI.jpg" target="_self"><img class="align-center" src="http://api.ning.com:80/files/4IFRv6mjJvYc8CnnoRWPNuX*jmfCl994N7W3iXFlVUttMl5t*M*tndmOLAehADJnZ951nVBZocpkbRTrNeQcXCOw5sSa-J8P/HHI.jpg?width=120" style="padding: 2px;" width="120" /></a></div> <div style="text-align: center;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: center;"> <a href="http://www.omtimes.com/" target="_blank">OM Times Magazine</a></div> <div style="text-align: center;"> <a href="http://www.omtimes.com/" target="_blank"><img class="align-center" src="http://api.ning.com:80/files/ajBGgs1f4r-EI75me1Izsj46ZvZRsGiovpYF7I8xX5pLAOOF2*yga50GuPhjzbjIrSLwrmv86LKihrSJwwD1nYbwqdv8njVY/OMTimes02.jpg?width=100" width="100" /></a></div> <div style="text-align: center;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: center;"> <a href="http://www.dezengodesigned.com/" target="_blank">deZengoDESIGNS</a></div> <div style="text-align: center;"> <a href="http://www.dezengodesigned.com/" target="_blank"><img class="align-center" src="http://api.ning.com:80/files/fM3pq5XJkAghMml2GfHkjr-iW2t1dGimCnkvJgcwixoFd1ymnSCOjN1y0BT*ShcqRlM86gfCV8eT9CDwtaBbv5VQfUCO6Yn2/266227_10150304557817474_164104302473_9253669_1814640_o.jpg?width=150" width="150" /></a></div> <div style="text-align: center;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: center;"> <br /></div> <div style="text-align: center;"> <a href="http://www.yarntherapist.com/" target="_blank">The Yarn Therapist</a></div> <div style="text-align: center;"> <a href="http://www.yarntherapist.com/" target="_blank"><img class="align-center" src="http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6005/5913083037_cbe072d185_m.jpg?width=125" width="125" /></a><br /> <br /> <br /> <a href="http://www.thebabyflamingoco.com/">The Baby Flamingo Co., LLC</a><br /> <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCs4htoZaOK0Pfkcqi6NvGxOKDhRZX2ca-PHPabqp6TwNNj4m2NbXaiaZ2qFrt7LLMALJCppUx-m86j8HFiDdSFrITRbshfry34viFxVFh0UFhJGSWQ9LerVIZw1tZrVNuxnUcdb50IVM/s1600/bizcard_front.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="121" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCs4htoZaOK0Pfkcqi6NvGxOKDhRZX2ca-PHPabqp6TwNNj4m2NbXaiaZ2qFrt7LLMALJCppUx-m86j8HFiDdSFrITRbshfry34viFxVFh0UFhJGSWQ9LerVIZw1tZrVNuxnUcdb50IVM/s200/bizcard_front.jpg" width="200" /></a></div> <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> <br /></div> <br /></div> Unknownnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7961274310641753590.post-2905659432584355002011-08-27T15:12:00.001-07:002011-08-27T15:27:55.356-07:00<object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/yB-CFT3cIWs?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/yB-CFT3cIWs?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></object>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0
