Hi everyone! So as the title suggests, I'm just going to cut it short for all of us! LOL I'd just be sharing with you all what I received and what I wore to my dinner date with my boyfriend. And since Joel had work in the morning, we were only able to have dinner out :) But before that, we met at work early in the morning when I had done night shift overtime and received what I might refer to as bongga (extravagant) gifts!

The Michael Kors watch was totally unexpected and I would have never thought that he would actually give me one so soon since there'll be much more special occasions in the near future and Vday wasn't necessarily as special. As for the VS Bombshell set, yeah, Joel's crazy about it on me! :P

And as for my outfit, LOL Obviously I didn't want to live up to Valentine's Day being all red (which as I expected, most of the people I'll come across with is wearing), I went with black and a hint of Royal Fuchsia that is my skirt :)

Hello everyone! So I've been MIA for about 5 months because I've been very busy with work that I was never able to find time to blog about anything. But anyways, I would just like to let you all know that I am so back. I will work harder to keep this lair of mine as updated as possible, even if I just post anything random and just ramble my heart out! Lol so anyways, my very first outfit post for 2014! As simple as it looks, I just felt like wearing this bright red peplum skirt of mine. Whole outfit is in time with the love month, Valentine's Day is just around the corner and love love love and hearts are just everywhere! Hope you like it :)

Wore this last weekend to the mall with both my parents. Papa was here for less than 3 weeks and tonight, he’ll be leaving again for duty offshore for a month, hopefully. Well cause the last time he went, they said only one month but it took him more than 2 months to be back. So for the next month, more mother-daughter bonding with my mom. I just hope Papa will be back in time for my graduation :)

LOOKBOOK: How hard can it be?

So for the past few weeks, I have been on the lookout for the perfect Sneaker Wedge. But of course, I would have my usual dilemmas wherein it's either too pricey for my budget or it just doesn't fit my feet right. But thank goodness I have found them in Forever 21, at Dubai Festival City. And it was so sweet how the sales assistant actually told me that they have just arrived and I was the first one to buy a pair and how I am lucky because it usually gets sold out just in one day! (I was there around 11am, hihi) So yeah, gonna show you guys how I styled it. Though most would think it's hard, here's one way you can ;)

Since my pair is black, it's a bit easier to style and just go for a monochromatic ootd. As I see it, it's better to wear bottoms that are fit or somehow fit to be able to show your pair. That's why I have worn my favourite pencil skirt, which is from Forever 21 too btw! (Oh, and my top! But this is in no way sponsored by Forever 21, mind you, LOL Hope they do though, haha.) So yeah, black, white and gray. And make sure to wear something with print of course, so to put more style ;)

She’s the one with the messy unkempt hair colored by the sun. Her skin is now far from fair like it once was. Not even sun kissed. It’s burnt with multiple tan lines, wounds and bites here and there. But for every flaw on her skin, she has an interesting story to tell.

Don't date a girl who travels. She is hard to please. The usual dinner-movie date at the mall will suck the life out of her. Her soul craves for new experiences and adventures. She will be unimpressed with your new car and your expensive watch. She would rather climb a rock or jump out of an airplane than hear you brag about it.

Don’t date a girl who travels because she will bug you to book a flight every time there’s an airline seat sale. She wont party at Republiq. And she will never pay over $100 for Avicii because she knows that one weekend of clubbing is equivalent to one week somewhere far more exciting.

Chances are, she doesn’t have a job or refuses to work. Or she’s probably daydreaming about quitting. She doesn’t want to keep working her ass off for someone else’s dream. She has her own and is working towards it. She is a freelancer. She makes money from designing, writing, photography or something that requires creativity and imagination. Don't waste her time complaining about your boring job.

Don't date a girl who travels. She might have wasted her college degree and switched careers entirely. She is now a dive instructor or a yoga teacher. She’s not sure when the next paycheck is coming. But she doesn’t work like a robot all day, she goes out and takes what life has to offer and challenges you to do the same.

Don’t date a girl who travels for she has chosen a life of uncertainty. She doesn’t have a plan or a permanent address. She goes with the flow and follows her heart. She dances to the beat of her own drum. She doesn’t wear a watch. Her days are ruled by the sun and the moon. When the waves are calling, life stops and she will be oblivious to everything else for a moment. But she has learned that the most important thing in life isn’t surfing.

Don’t date a girl who travels as she tends to speak her mind. She will never try to impress your parents or friends. She knows respect, but isn't afraid to hold a debate about global issues or social responsibility.

She will never need you. She knows how to pitch a tent and screw her own fins without your help. She cooks well and doesn't need you to pay for her meals. She is too independent and wont care whether you travel with her or not. She will forget to check in with you when she arrives at her destination. She’s busy living in the present. She talks to strangers. She will meet many interesting, like-minded people from around the world who share her passion and dreams. She will be bored with you.

So never date a girl who travels unless you can keep up with her.

And if you unintentionally fall in love with one, don’t you dare keep her.

The mechanics is to create a smokey eye look with a pop of colour in it. In here, I got the idea of creating an Arabic inspired make up look. The pop of blue is just perfect, don't you think? :) And because of the already strong and dark eyes, a nude shade of lipstick makes it complete :P

How To

If there's one thing I spend most of my time on fixing, it's actually my hair more than that of my make up. I love it like a baby but I definitely have a love-hate relationship with it. Mainly because the way I take care of it is parallel to the way I damage it. But don't get me wrong, taking care of it is always the goal here, right? But anyway, let's step aside from fashion and let's talk about beauty for a change.

Actually, this past week, I have set aside my usual hair regimen and tried out this Alterna Haircare Bamboo Smooth Line. I have given quite a vivid introduction of the line in my previous blog post and below are my thoughts of it.

I've picked up the whole collection, consisting of shampoo, conditioner, treatment oil, and dry oil mist, which are unanimously free from Sodium chloride and Parabens (chemicals which are terrible yet found in 85% of beauty products).

The Result:
After having to use it this past week, I have noticed changes in the texture of my hair. I love how this product lives to its promise of feeling and seeing the difference in just your first use. My hair being damaged and all, it has been really frustrating for me because of it's unmanageable texture, and also because it's wavy. After using the products (Shampoo, Conditioner and Dry Oil Mist) on the first use, I have felt my hair became softer and smoother. It has become more manageable for me and saved really time in fixing my hair. Especially when I go to work, I don't really spend so much time anymore unlike before. But of course, it's fresh smell gives it plus points.

My thoughts:
This is really good for frizzy and damaged hair, most especially for the unmanageable ones. Although I haven't seen any long term results yet, this product has got to be reliable. I highly recommend this of course to all you guys reading this! Though I have yet to try their UV+ line, which is for dyed hair, I have heard from others that this is a bit pricey for your pocket. But I believe that nothing is too pricey for your needs, especially if it provides you with promising results right?!

Happy Thursday everyone!! :) Now are you ready with my last installment from my styling stint at Benetton, The Dubai Mall? Went a little corporate again with this outfit since I am this frustrated stylish working girl, who doesn't really dress the way she wants to at work, lol.

To describe my outfit, well, I have been eyeing this blazer ever since because of how divinely white it looks. Haha. It's so white that you wouldn't actually want to wear it because of it's clean clean look. But then it got me thinking that I might as well still get it for myself because it fits my body perfectly and it will be perfect for work! And yes, ever since I started working, for every clothes I intend to buy, I think first whether I can wear it at work or even just a day out with the girls.

Just a little fact though, you see the white flats I'm wearing above? That's from the Kids' section by the way! It's no secret how tiny my feet are, so don't be surprised if you'll see me in Kids' shoes designs and styles! Haha.

I'll admit, I am in love with most pieces from Benetton!! And yes yes yes, I am in love with the pieces I'm wearing here! I love it that I actually bought this dress the last time I went there. But of course, I had to get it in my favourite color, a combination of pink and purple.

3 looks for my Style Feature with Benetton and I seek for more!! Their collections are just fab! They may not be your typical street style fashion but they definitely go for the prim and proper. iSTYLE with Benetton: Sexy Prints

In my recent post, I have mentioned that I'll be posting 3 installments of my Style Feature Project with Benetton UAE. And now, let me share Part 2 with you all!

I must say that out of the 3 outfits that I have come up with, this is by far the simplest yet my most favourite. I admit, I am in love with this dress that I plan to buy it when I get back to the store :) - Wasn't able to buy it the last time because I'm waiting to shop with my sister. The fit is just perfect for me and I feel oh so sexy wearing this style of dress and with the print, it's just perfect!

The animal print is definitely familiar and I must say that I love it's monochromatic colours!

P.S. Again I apologize for I don't have perfect skin and the heels were hella big for me :(
