Positive posts. We need more of these right?

Today I want to talk about theFinanceSeed.com project. It aims at helping the common folk with their finances and maybe introduce all of us to tips and tricks that will help us be more finance literate.

They posted a 50 week plan to kickstart your savings with a very interesting technique. You've probably seen the 54 week challenge around facebook, but these guys brought it up a notch. They encourage the use of Acorns to invest those amounts and teach you how to invest while you're saving.

Two birds with one stone, and a lot of dinero for your pocket.

The project just launched to a very successful start, it's website launched yesterday and it's looking very promising.

Man dead after hugging giant firework during New Year's Eve celebration

A Filipino man died after hugging a firework. He was drunk of course, but no one really stopped him either.

As per the report by ABC australia;

"His jaw was shattered. He was so intoxicated he hugged the Goodbye Philippines," Ms Garin said, adding the man was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The "firecracker named Goodbye Philippines". It's sad that his family is now grieving, and this shouldn't had happened. I mean, I get that people go a bit crazy during the new year's celebrations but ignoring a drunk carries the same risk as ignoring a blind gunman.

Sure he's responsible for his own actions, but no one really cared for him enough to you know... push him away?

It's an egoistic society we live in.

FBI offering $5000 reward after bacon is found at Mosque

The associated press reports that the FBI is currently offering a $5000 USD reward for information that might net them the person who left some raw bacon around the door handles of a Las Vegas mosque.

There's surveillance video of the act, and the authorities are calling it a desecration of the Islamic worship center.

The crime is being investigated as a hate crime of course, but that doesn't live out the fact that we're at the point in history where a possible bacon prank receives full media coverage and it's labeled a hate crime. I'm not condoning the person that did it, but a $5000 dollar reward seems excessive. Why don't we put as much effort when someone paints graffiti all over the schools and public places?

I guess living in a remote island in the pacific doesn't seem that bad...

Parasailing is the thing that you Must try. This type of adventure is also a major thrill and people of all ages can actually do it. It would take about ten minutes to go up 600 feet above the water and you do not really have to know how to water ski. All that you need to do is clip into the harness and then step on top of the extra wide deck attached to a specialized towboat where you will take off upon reaching a certain speed. As the boat speeds up, your parachute catches wind that will take you high up in the air. Once you are high above the air, you will be able to get an amazing view of the island water and the mountains.

Bora Bora Island is a very wonderful place to visit and it is a must that you try out at least one of the several adventures mentioned above.

New Project! #Amazing #Share Site for sharing Images, Audio and Videos for free.

After weeks of working, we've finally finished our side project. Picidio. A Site to upload and share pictures, audio and video content. Essentially you become part of the blog by joining the community and uploading and posting content to the site.

It's easier to find idiocratic posts around the world if the content is shared between those that see the idiocy.

It's in beta so join in and help out if you want. These past few weeks have been full on productivity working with the new websites and trying to finish some other projects.

If you haven't checked it the web hosting provider that runs all of our sites, feel free to give it a go. It's currently running 5 of our sites and hasn't lagged yet so we want to hear your experience as well.
This summer will probably be full of productivity and less beach for some reason. I guess the site launched in good timing... Don't forget to take pictures of summer idiocracy and post them to Picidio! Our goal is to crash the site to stress test it and what better way than with fun content.

Woman Adopts Dead Babies

A woman from Chile dedicates part of her time to adopt dead babies. That's right.

Bernarda Gallardo saw a headline on a local newspaper about a dead baby that was going to be sent to the trash and the news report changed her life.

She was raped herself and loved and cared the baby daughter without much anger.

"After I was raped, I was lucky enough to be able to move on because of the support I got from my friends. But if I had been left on my own, perhaps I would have felt as helpless as they do."

She just felt like she could do something about the babies that aren't wanted even after death. She tried to adopt the body of the baby that was in the headlines. She had a whole lot of issues to make that baby her adopted daughter just to give her a proper burial but she made it through and became the adoptive mother of a baby that couldn't even get to see the sun.

This touches the heart on so many levels.

After the whole ordeal the women speaks out to the teens that think they don't have a choice and tells them to send their kids for adoptions instead of killing them and sending them to the dumps.

Eventually she decided to stick posters on all of Puerto Montt's rubbish dumps telling people. "Don't throw your babies in the rubbish," and reminding them that two babies had been dumped in recent months - Aurora and then Manuel.

Since then it's been 12 years since she adopted her first baby and she has adopted and burried three more during this time and in the process of doing the same for another girl.

The world is turning gray, but people like this lady give it some color. I'm happy this Monday wasn't such a blue day.

Teen missing for 4 days was actually hiding at school eating fruits

A teen in California US went missing. Parents were going crazy. And the school was completely clueless.

A 17 year old teen that was being tracked down by police and family as a missing person suddenly turned out at the door step of his Cupertino home saying he

hid on his high school campus, drank from the water fountain and ate fruit from trees,

Of course we could talk about how the police couldn't give any explanation as to how they didn't think of checking with the school to see if he was seen there. Or about how the school wasn't really aware of who's at the school and who's not (which is pretty frightening).

What surprises me the most is that the kid was eating, drinking and basically sleeping at the school and not even his friends knew he was there. No reason at all was given, but I'm pretty sure he was just depressed.

“We can tell everyone that (their son) has expressed the deepest sorrow and regret for his actions. He sees how his actions have impacted others around him and understands there is no excuse for the concern and worry he has caused.”

At least he knows they care... but man... school, police, friends, family, not even the janitor? We are seriously closing into the age of disconnection. Which is kind of ironic since you're reading about it from our blog.

I know I know, we've been kind of quiet lately. Not because the idiocracy of the world has lowered but because we've been a bit busy working on another project. IGIT Entertainment. Our little game apps group.

We started out with the Agapito Survive game since Puerto Rico seems to have a love-hate relationship with the current governor and what better way to share the ideals than with a game right?

New eye injection give you temporary nightvision.

If the world thinks positive, positive thinks come out of it.

Discovery reports that a group of independent researchers successfully induced night vision in a human test subject by injecting a liquid solution into the eyeball.

That's right. They made a super human (not quite, but still pretty cool). Science for the masses, a biohacker group based in California published the open-source research document detailing the experiment.

The effect started to show up within an hour after the solution was applied and lasted for "many hours" giving the effect of low-light vision or night-vision out to a range of about 50 meters.

To prove the effect the control group performed tests of vision in a dark field.

Pretty neat stuff.

Wendy's employee was refused restroom break, even after urinating herself.

In news that make you facepalm (what a great way to say Hi to a week of stalled news), a Wendy's employee was refused a bathroom break and was forced to work even after she urinated herself.

That's right. Slavery is not over, today it's just called 'work' in some places.

Maria Rivas asked her supervisor multiple times if she could take a break to use the bathroom but was denied. The supervisor cited a new policy that prevented employees from using the bathroom during lunch rush hour (that's mid day, 11AM until 2PM). Rivas, a diabetic and under medication couldn't hold it because the uncontrollable bladder is a side effect of the medicine and urinated herself.

Not only that, but the supervisor forced her to STAY WORKING WHILE SHE WAS SOILED WITH URINE.

What in the holy shoe of the pope is wrong with this world?

Rivas stated: “He didn’t care and none of the other managers cared to tell me, ‘Mari, go to your house and change.”‘

Needless to say, the lady has an attorney and she's going for Wendy's over this. At the moment the supervisor hasn't even made a sound.

When asked why she just didn't leave to go to the bathroom she said that she depended on her job. This scenario happens a lot, and supervisors sometimes take advantage to control people by pulling the psychological weapons.

We're at that point in time where our generation's flaws are starting to show. This not only affect us all, this makes our next generation even worse.

Like this colorado girl on the report. Police arrested a 12 year old girl for trying to kill her mother for taking away her iphone.

That's right. We are breeding hate.

"Mom noticed an odor of bleach in the drink and thought her daughter had cleaned the glass prior to making the beverage and did not rinse all the bleach out," the police statement said.

The mom was about to take her morning smoothie, to her surprise her little girl was planning on killing her.

Is this a generalized behavior? I think so. Kids these days aren't dependent of just their local peers to define their behavior. These are net-kids, their behavior mirrors that of millions of people not just their friends at school. Not only do their behavior seems to be twisted from what her parents thought her, she was seeking her "networking" so badly that it was affecting her mentally.

Sad.

It's not the mother's fault, as she saw the way her girl was acting and took away what in her eyes was causing it. It's the whole social implications that this generation is pushing to our kids.

X-Factor New Zealand Judges fired over insults.

In news that might not shock the world. Natalia Kills and Willy Moon were fired after going into a "fashion" rampage against a performer in X Factor New Zealand.

This is something you have to hear for yourself. See the video below.

Now, I already accepted that our world is going down the drain; but this is pretty amusing.

Natalia apparently thinks that wearing a suit is copying her husband and she as an "artist" doesn't approve it so bullying a contestant for his appearance is more important than the voice.

Goes to show how much she knows about music...

These are supposed to be "professionals" judging "entry level singers" into the industry; they probably forgot that they weren't born famous and that fashion wasn't invented by one person either.

These two specimens are the perfect example of what's wrong with the world.

Good for Xfactor kicking them out I say. She started the stupid behavior last year in December.

#crazy FDA proposes letting companies undermine safety warnings on medicine.

The washington post reports that the FDA is proposing a rule to let pharmaceutical companies undermine drug warnings.

It's not that the FDA won't issue warnings, it's just that they plan on giving the pharmaceuticals that create the drugs more freedom into how they advertise their products.

Bad idea?

Many think so. I mean, how can you be sure that the next panadol won't have a dangerous additive if they just advertice and report that "it's an improved recipe, with a stronger additive for xyz reason".

They would have full control of how the drugs will be presented.

“Its main supporters are drug companies and their associations, all of which would benefit from being allowed and encouraged to sell more drugs by making them seem safer than FDA has judged them to be.”

More control to big companies. The investigations must be academically approved, but that hasn't stopped companies from funding and fishing "positive" studies while burring hindering or covering blank results.

While the proposal calls for the new information to come from peer-reviewed academic journals, critics note that such research often suffers from industry bias.

Every time I get a message on my inbox I lose a little of my eye sight. Are we really letting all of this happen?

Man in Montana was Shot by his Dog. With a Rifle.

A man in Montana was shot by his dog while out doing their business. The dog used the man's rifle.

It wasn't intentional, but that doesn't change the fact that the owner got hurt by his dog.

According to reports, the dog was on the man's truck and there was a loaded rifle there. The dog moved and triggered the rifle causing the bullet to hit the owner's arm.

"The rifle was loaded and in the bed of the truck and the dog hopped up there and either stepped on it or caused something to move and set it off," he added.

Now, I could go on and on about the story; but the owner is a perfect example of why gun safety should be enforced and at least refreshed every few months.

Leaving a Loaded rifle in a truck with your dog (or with anything for that matter) is never a good idea.

We all have leaders to which we doubt were chosen by measuring their communication skills. Or we have leaders that simply don't think too well and we question why the hell they are still "chiefs".

We found 5 stories that kind of paint the picture of why Idiocracy is happening early. We didn't even have to analyze world leaders; the following are 5 chiefs that messed up their communication and spoke their mind instead of talking with the "socially accepted answer list".

Our 1st: comes directly from Germany;

The German Health and Safety Chief banned sandcastles at beaches last year. Yeah. They probably should've worded their report a bit before plainly saying they would ban those.

They were concerned with the holes that were being left on the beaches so they decided to instead of ban "holes" to ban "sand castles".

2nd: Australian chief still denies global warming. Sure I could've put this guy on par of Kim from NK, but Kim wasn't elected by the people.

Climate change measures like 'primitive civilizations offering up sacrifices to appease the gods', says Maurice Newman

He says Australians have been to busy worrying about global warming that they won't be prepared for "Global Cooling".

Yeah..

3rd: Hong Kong, Beijin Leader;

Hong Kong's pro-Beijing leader asks residents to be like 'sheep'

For some, that might sound cute. But for the people (which spent months trying to make him quit) it's an insult. They've been calling him a wolf and then he goes on to call them sheep.

Hungry perhaps?

4th: Even Discovery Channel has doubtful leaders.

New Discovery Channel chief promises "No more made-up bullshit".

So.. that means he's willing to put the whole company at a loss by saying everything post-him has been a lie.

Way to win the audience there Rich.

5th: And our last leader that just goes to show anyone can do anything as long as they try.

The FBI Chief says "Everyone's a little bit racist".

Family in Puerto Rico had an underground bunker with secret playground entrence to grow marijuana.

It's almost out of a movie plot. A family in Puerto Rico was found and pending charges for allegedly growing, selling and distributing pot. Something that wouldn't' surprise me normally; but today it was different.

They had 2 trailers underground, covered by dirt and concrete and on top of the two trailers was a little playground for the kids of the family to play. What wasn't noticable is that the playhouse in the playground had a secret door leading to the inside of the burried trailers.

They had a full office running with air conditioning below the ground. It was a pretty elaborate operation and was practically imposible to find until the family started stealing trailers and obstructing deliveries.

On the news report they showed the family had stolen a shipment of seasoning and another of paintings from china.

The police are still pretty surpriced by the find and I don't blame them... I mean... an underground pot growing office which the entrance is a kid's playground?

Freaking. Amazing.

Windermere Cay apartments in Florida will fine you $10,000 if you give a bad review or post your photos. #WTF

When stupidity and ego has power, the ones affected by the power's range will suffer even when they do things correctly.

An apartment complex in US Florida called Windermere, includes in their lease a disclaimer that says;

it explicitly bans all "negative commentary and reviews on Yelp! [sic], Apartment Ratings, Facebook, or any other website or Internet-based publication or blog." It also says any "breach" of the Social Media Addendum will result in a $10,000 fine, to be paid within ten business days. Finally, it assigns the renters' copyrights to the owner—not just the copyright on the negative review, but "any and all written or photographic works regarding the Owner, the Unit, the property, or the apartments."

That means that even if you have a party in the place, the photos that you take are property of the owner of the complex, if you post it on facebook you can be subjected to a fine and if you give him or the complex a bad review (or even mention them in a negative way on your facebook wall) you will be fined for $10,000 dollars.

Of course... the owner had a "reason" to why he needs that disclaimer there though. He argues that sometimes people write negative reviews before going to the place so they can negotiate a cheaper price.
This, although it reads as a very clear explanation doesn't really say anything... if someone writes a false review you can show your tenant that what they read was false and if the review was correct then he could've fixed the issue before another tenant tried to rent an apartment.

Needless to say these type of news shouldn't exist unless we were living in idiocracy.

Store owner sues lottery winner. The importance of promises.

We all make promises we won't plan on fulfilling when talking about the lottery. You appear humble saying you'll give this and that, or that you'll give money to the people that are close to you but I can assure you the last thing you'll do is think of others once you win the lottery.

Laxmi Bhardwaj, owner of USA Liquors in Milpitas, filed a lawsuit alleging he loaned Eva Reyes, 53, of San Jose, money to purchase lottery tickets, and in exchange she offered to split any winnings evenly.

Reyes, the woman that won the lottery did in fact had an agreement with the woman. A spoken one, but an agreement nonetheless.

If in fact this woman took loan money for lottery, offered a split and won; then she will have to go forward with the decision even when she says things like

"Before I wanted to give the $50,000, but later I say forget it," she said. "Why do I have to give it? I win the money."

The price was 1 million. That probably changed her mind didn't it? Legally she'll have to pay the correct amount. But boy! how much does a person change after getting mula.

Suddenly she's part of the idiocracy world domination; promise and don't go forward with the promises, and people that suddenly remember a promise and force you to act towards it.

Friends stop being friends, stupidity ensues followed by ego and stubbornness.

Censorship is one of those things that can pretty much define the attitude of a government. When you have clear ideals and no fear of showing your country's bad side you know you have a matured government.

India has been tumbling into the "not really clear" area day by day. Today they wanted to block BBC from releasing a documentary that follows the gang-rape of a woman and it's process in the country.

US Woman using fake Handicap card lunged against a 72 year old for a handicap parking spot.

Daily we see stupidity reported. But some of those make me wonder if there's still some humanity in the world. Ego seems to be taking over and the selfish attitude is spreading way to many roots.

Today a woman in the US assaulted a 72 year old handicap lady because the elder woman took "her handicap spot". The aggressor was using a fake handicap id, the elder on the other hand had every right to have the parking because she had the id, parked correctly and even signaled that she was parking in the spot.

According to a police report. 32-year-old Kezia Perkins was attempting to park in a handicapped spot at the Greenfield Walmart store. She couldn’t make the turn, and that’s when the 71-year-old woman pulled in.

After this creature (can't be called human) realized that she didn't have the parking she pressed with her chest the old lady and made her fall causing her to require medical attention. That's right. She actually made the elder woman have to go to the hospital for taking a parking the correct way because this crazy woman doesn't understand that she's not the owner of the world.

What in the heavens makes someone be so selfish and uncaring?

Mount Everest endangered by human poop.

Mount Everest is that place that everyone imagines as the top of the world. Who would've thought that it would be endangered by the lower exit of humans.

Time reported that Nepal Officials are having a hard time with human poop from hikers in the world's highest peak.

That's right, we humans have officially become a threat to locals and the place alike by pooping.

“It is a health hazard and the issue needs to be addressed,”

Interesting enough, the problem was reported and nothing can be done yet.

“Climbers usually dig holes in the snow for their toilet use and leave the human waste there,” Tshering said, adding that the waste has been “piling up” for years around the four camps.

Hundreds of climbers a year go to the Everest and use it as a toilet. The temperature and location make it very hard for that excrement to disperse or be used so instead it's pilling up.

Who knows... maybe in 300 years Everest will be a bit bigger, stinkier and closer to humans.

City in Kazakhstan Where Villagers Fall Asleep Randomly Evacuated

A City in Kazakhstan that gained national attention when it was reported that for some reason their citizens were falling asleep randomly is apparently evacuating everyone.

Until recently no one knew why everyone would fall asleep on random places in the city. They could be walking around and fall asleep or walking their dog and falling asleep.

Recent findings suggest that the effect is due to some low toxicity.

The effect was so strong that sometimes people fell asleep for days. Today there's still no clear reason, some people suggest it's probably due to carbon monoxide. But others have doubts of this idea;

"Carbon monoxide poisoning doesn't just make you fall down and go to sleep," "There's a progress of symptoms: nausea, headache, [and] eventually you can have confusion and unconsciousness. But you move slowly through that progression."

Now they are evacuating the people as a precaution and to possibly find a reason to why this is happening.

Alejandro Garcia Padilla Governor of PR lies in the dominican republic - “There's no deficit”

I'm not much of a political guy, BUT our dear leader is starting to look more like a Kim than a Martin. Idiocratic leaders are all over the world but this one is close to home.

Alejandro Garcia Padilla, the governor of Puerto Rico went to an interview in the Dominican republic (and apparently he thought that no one would see and hear this...) and said that in 18 weeks he turned the deficit of Puerto Rico to 0.

A feat that's not only a blatant lie but it says a lot about his character.

Padilla has been in the spot light these past weeks because he intends to implement a new charge to services, a thing that's normal in money producing states. The IVA will add a 16% tax to entry and services in the island.

Puerto Rico already pays the IVU which is a 7% out of pocket for purchases. If he did in fact turned the deficit and reduce debt (which is still worse than New York's) why add even more costs (he added a new "Crudita" to increase costs in gas on the island).

See and hear the guy himself saying the lies just like a graduated idiocracy leader... actually the guys in the movie were actually a bit more intelligent during interviews.

An employee in Buffalo Grove Metra station called police this month seeking assistance

Her kitkat bar was hanging on the edge. It was stuck on the snack machine.

Now, I know some might think she overreacted on her next step but I'll tell you right now, if I had the mindset of this person I would've done the same thing. That's a 1$ bill I could had invested on my Acorns account and it amounts to a machine stealing my money. Which is in fact equal to terrorists stealing my money.

The employee called the police to report;

"A Kit Kat bar is currently hanging on the edge,"

"The Kit Kat candy bar is too thin for the moving rings and will not dispense at times."

Needless to say, a police officer did appear. That's how the tribune got the report, but how would you rate this crime?

Terrorists. The beings that have negative IQ and think with their tongue instead of brain are using pancake recipes to get new followers.

The National Security report gives an example (pretty interesting actually) were the Islamic State were using pancake recipe

"designed to feed jihadists after a hard day of fighting".

A small translation of this stupidity is below, check this thing out...

They give them a pancake recipe and then they add that thing on the bottom. Aside from the Pancake propaganda, ISIS has a guidebook for mothers to raise a "Mujahid child".

What. The. Heck.

Maybe if they make enough noise North Korea might get an idea and probably send a "How to make a pancake. If you had flour" guide too.
