I was so excited when I saw this fedora sitting on a clothes rack at Walmart in the Men's section. I knew as soon as I layed eyes on it, it would be mine. I love this hat, it is my new favorite item. I have worn it almost everyday in the past week. I want to buy two more fedoras this summer, a cute dark brown one that I saw at Target, and an all black fedora from the new rue21 in my town. And although I didn't get an interview for that store, my sister and I went job hunting today and the manager at one of our local Dots stores loved me! I filled out my application on the spot, she lightly questioned me, and told me to expect a phone call later this week to come in for an interview. Yes! I am too excited! Wish me luck, and send me postive energy!

About two weeks ago, my friend Bernice told Kyle, Angie, and I that rue21 was opening in our local mall, and that they were now hiring. Me and Kyle were so excited because be both love fashion, so this is what we wore to turn in applications. Oh, and that ruffled skirt is really a ruffled shirt, it' really cute so I had to get a little crafty. Thank you for all of the comments wishing me luck on my finals last week, gave me some motivation, but in all truth I didn't really study for any of them.... at all. I make A's and B's so even if I bombed the finals I knew that I would still pass all of my classes. Yes, I did just enough to get by, senioritus hit me hard those last two weeks. I am so glad that high school is over!! My graduation is this Friday and it will make it official that I am no longer a high school senior, but a college freshman.... Whooo-Hooooo!!

At Truetts when milkshakes were 50 cents! I think it was customer appreciation week or something, they had a baloon guy so it was really fun!

You guys know my fabulous friend Kyle, he's in my last post and he is super chic!! He won best dressed for our senior superlatives and I won class clown.... Ha! Not sure if I'm too proud of that...... Yeah.. Yeah I am...anyways his family bought him a car this year and I started riding with him to school. Everyday after school we would go to Taco Bell for hours and have the greatest times!! We are in Taco Bell waiting for our food! We even got kicked out by the cops once, but that day we weren't even loud, the manager was just having a bad day! That scared the shit out of us.

Me, Angie and Kyle went to Starbucks one weekend and we've been going ever since. These last two weeks of school we have been leaving early in the morning so we have enough time to relax there before school.

Isn't she a cutie! I love the print of that summer dress, she looks great in it!

I saw this today on facebook and it made me tear up a little bit, we got out cap and gowns Friday and did a senior walk through the halls of our school. Me, Angie, Kyle, and even the absent guy Lame James are all gonna hang out this summer all the time but it is going to be sad when we all have to part ways.

I usually wear that scarf around my hair when I am lazy and I don't feel like doing my hair! Love it! It is seriously my best friend! And my sister didn't want the bag, she never ever wore it, hahaha so I totally stole it! Life is so sweet right now, I am so amped for summer!! Yay! Summer, summer, summer!!

Damn, this whole graduation thing is oh so exciting...Even more exciting I got an e-mail from Mellissa Mann from Glamour.com!! You just might see me as their best dressed reader of the day soon, who knows?? My friend Bernice went for an interview for the new rue21 opening up at the nearest mall a couple of days ago, she told me and my friends Kyle and Angie, and we turned in applications the next day. The thing is the opening is around the 20th, I still have hope that I will get a call back though.... Pray for me(send me positive energy), I want/need/would looove that job so bad.. I'm gonna post what we wore to turn in our applications together next week.

So highschool is almost over and graduation day is near, I am so giddy. Senioritus is getting me, but I'm gonna pull through it. So I was gonna wear this old acid wash jean blazer my granny had in the back of her closet, but I decided to go with this old jean jacket I bought at Goodwill. Love that place.

Stripes at the Tavern!!

Ok, so I got these boots for like $20, and the second day after I wore them I scuffed them up!!! really bad because I was walking in them all day around Oglethorpe Univeristy during a Shakespeare Competition. My family always laughs and makes fun of me whenever I wear them because they are so scuffed up, but like my friend Bernice said " it gives them character"!!! And I love them.

I was completely breaking the dress code for my school that day, but I didn't care, we would only be in the drama room for a couple of minutes till the bus came to take us to the Tavern downtown.

(On the bus!! I didn't ride the bus this year, since I'm a senior and all I think I'm to cool for school. But riding the bus with my drama friends is always fun... and loud.)

Ok, so we had stage combat classes with the guy behind me with the white hat, he specialized specifically in sword fighting. Now the rapier I'm holding is a real sword, bwhahhahha!!! Only it was not sharpened, but the wrong move at the wrong time could possibly kill someone, so when fighting with these on stage I had to be Uuber careful! And the person I was fighting is behind me in the green, his name is John...

Yay, so our production of Romeo and Juliet was soooooo successful, lots of people showed up ( mainly because it was extra credit for an English class),... but still it was a great night for our drama department. For the graduating seniors: me, my friends: Angie, Kyle, Anna, Kacey, it was our last play of high school... tear tear..... We went to school in the morning, and then we left for..... the oh so fancy New Atlanta Shakespeare Tavern which is modeled to look exactly like what a tavern would look like in Shakespeare's day and age. We were there practicing from 9 a.m. to about 9:30 p.m. until after the show.. Playing Mercutio was so much fun, I loved it.

We are practicing for our production of Romeo and Juliet next Monday: I am Mercutio, and he is awesome.

So I had a week break from school where I got to go thrifting, I got this blazer for like 4 bucks and cut up and bleached these shorts, they were bell-bottoms and I knew I wasn't going to wear them again.. These pics are not clear because my friend took them with her phone. I don't have a digital camera :( I took these in my drama class that's why I'm on stage... Well and I'm an actress, and I love it!!!

Um, I didn't really like this one. Again, last fall I was trying to start a local modeling career, so I began to test shoot with photographers. These shots were done by Bryantt Gantt for Split Second Photography. He shot alot of my shots standing up, and I knew that proportion wise... that would not be smart because it would make me look shorter.. and he tested alot his new lighting on me that he never used before, so most of the shoot was spent fixing the lighting. And then I didn't like the cheap background. I was hoping it was gonna be in a studio but it was in a small room in home. But my makeup artist, Jadacue, was fabulous! She was from this big wig make up school in New York.

Last Friday was the Senior Prom for Dutchtown High School, my school in Hampton Georgia (where???......exactly) I had a blast. It was at the Westin Atlanta so it was really fancy I had a great time!! My date is my ex-boyfriend Blake Perkey.

Zoe Saldana in Givenchy

Looking through the few 2010 Spring Couture Collections on Style.com I came across this gown:

..................from the Givenchy 2010 Spring Couture Collection, I knew I saw it on the red carpet somewhere, then I remembered!!!

Zoe, Saldana wore it to the Oscars not to long ago! Now, now, now!!! I know what your thinking, this is a hot busy mess, it was on all of the worst dressed lists, but as soon as I saw her in this flowy, lavender Givenchy gown I lost my mind. It's so wrong that it's right, and I do admit these pictures don't do it justice, because of the dramatic transition of color in the skirt of this gown it looked as though she were floating as she walked across the stage to present that night. It's a mixture of glamour, couture, and latin spice. It truly is like her new movie Avitar, out of this world. The crystals in the top of the dress is complimented beautifully by the sinched waisted that flaires at the top. I absolutely love everything about this gown. Love!!!!!!

I think that this dress would have been received better by the American audience because it is more commercial but, it dosen't have the POW factor:

Revamped Retouching

So when I was modeling I realized it would be alot cheaper for me to learn how to retouch my own images. In that process I realized I really liked it and started doing it for models and photographers for a really good price, my retouching business is called:

So when I was getting serious about this retouching thing, I wanted to find awesome models on Model Mayhem and ask them and their photographers if I could retouch their images. You could imagine my excitement when I discovered the page of Sundai Love ( 5'3' the shortest model ever to appear on America's Next Top Model). I was so grateful that she let me retouch this image, I am a huge fan and it brought me lots of business.
