That the extreme temperatures the labels were subjected to during air transport damaged the adhesive, causing them to be less than permanent? Chances are, if you order labels made overseas, you have been burned by receiving labels with subpar adhesive or some with terrible print quality. You have learned, possibly the hard way, that all labels are not created equal and that a product as simple as a label requires a complex process that must be performed accurately to receive a quality product.

LabelValue.com strives to be the antithesis of our competitors who try to cut costs by moving manufacturing offshore, resulting in low-grade materials and unsavory manufacturing practices. LabelValue is proud of the fact that our labels are continuing to be made in the USA.

LabelValue.com has built a strong reputation on the fact that we provide labeling solutions that meet or exceed OEM manufacturer specifications. While we are happy to be able to provide our customers with low prices, nothing about our labels could be considered “cheap.”

With so many choices of wine on the shelves at the grocery store, it’s imperative the wine makers not only provide high quality wine, but also do whatever it takes to create beautiful, eye catching labels that will compel the shopper to pick the bottle up for closer examination. However, with so many kinds of labels available on the internet, it’s hard to know which one is best and which will be most successful in catching the customers’ eye. There is one type of label that is always recommended, however, in its ability to produce a high quality, attractive label: foil labels.

Cold foil is an in-line rotary process that transfers metallic foil to the facesheet of a pressure sensitive label. As the name implies, heat is not necessary to transfer the foil to the label, which means it can be easily added to the printing process. Cold foil labels allow you to keep costs down since cold foiling doesn’t require extra rotary dies for printing.

Foil labels are durable and often water proof with a permanent adhesive, perfect for keeping your label in place even if the bottle is submerged in ice or water to stay cold.

Foil labels will give your wine bottles a distinctive look that is upscale and will set your product apart from the others on the shelves.

For most people, an orderly workspace can make or break their day. If a workspace is cluttered, it can become more challenging to focus and be productive…not to mention finding what you need quickly and easily. Check out these 10 quick tips to get your desk back in order and have you well on your way to a productive, efficient day.

Toss what you don’t need. It’s easy to keep around pens, pencils and other clutter that you don’t need. However, if you never use it: toss it.

Pocket stuff. Have a place to throw all of your pocket items, such as keys, wallet, and cell phone.

Frequency of use. The best organization tip you can practice is to keep items close to you that you will be using every day. Those items should be close than things you use just once a week or once a month. Not only is this useful while you are working, it will also keep your desk less cluttered since you will be moving items you use less, less often.

Electronics should be out of sight. Keep items you don’t need on your desk, off your desk.

Files should be easily accessible. Without moving from your chair, you should be able to grab a manila folder, label it and file it in your file cabinet. In addition to keeping items within your reach, being able to file quickly and easily will mean you file items away immediately and reduce the risk of clutter that piles up. Keep file folder labels right at your desk so you can print off a new label, attach it to a manila folder and file without ever having to get up.

Scratch paper. Keep a notebook for scrap paper handy at all times to avoid writing on random scraps of paper. Keeping all of these notes together in one place is useful if you find yourself needing to go back and find information again.

Organize wires. Wires all over your desk can add significant clutter. Use Velcro wrapped around wire to keep wires under control.

Lighting. Make sure you have enough light to work comfortable for hours without your eyes becoming tired.

Accommodating a lack of drawer space. A file cabinet or even dresser can offer the drawer space you need for filing. If you’re short on space try sticking your filing cabinet under your desk.

Organize as you go. Don’t allow clutter and chaos to build up. Make it a part of your daily routine to organize your desk at the end of each day so you have a clean work space to come to the next day.

In fact, many bypass the postage stamp altogether and print their postage onto postal labels straight from their printer.

However, we have not always had the convenience of the internet or of adhesive paper stamps.

Have you ever wondered about the history of the postage stamp?

Before the use of stamps, letters were hand stamped or postmarked with ink.

The first postage stamp began with Great Britain’s Penny Post, a stamp released on May 6, 1840. The Penny Black was engraved with the profile of the head of Queen Victoria, whose image remained on all Britain’s stamps for the next sixty years.

The inventor of the stamp, Rowland Hill, was a schoolmaster in England when he invented the adhesive postage stamp in 1837, an act for which he was knighted. In addition to creating the first postage stamp, however, he also created the first uniform postal rates, basing the cost of shipping on weight rather than size. The stamps combined with uniform postal rates made the prepayment of mail not only possible, but also practical.

Unfortunately, in the field of veterinary medicine, even a small error can result in a life threatening mistake. Medicines must be administered with the exact dosage and as prescribed. For this reason, veterinary labels have come to play an important role in the industry of veterinary medicine.

Veterinary labels come in bright, vibrant colors that cause them to be instantly recognizable to the vets, veterinary assistants and administrative staff, providing vital information such as to give medication on a full stomach only. Brightly colored advisory stickers, warning labels and medication stickers quickly catch the eye and keep staff alert to information that could, potentially, affect the life of the animal.

Other labels applied directly to charts help both the veterinarian and staff to provide the best possible care of the pets, letting them know that bloodwork needs to be completed or that a pet needs the food and water intake recorded for medical records. Diagnostic imaging labels, file labels, billing and collection labels and return address labels keep the administrative side of any veterinary office running smoothly.

Veterinary labels are not only important for the sake of the animal, but for the veterinary staff as well. Quickly recognizable labels such as “Approach Slowly” or “Caution May Bite” quickly alert the veterinarian and staff to be cautious when approaching or handling some animals, potentially helping those staff members to avoid injury.

Veterinarians, veterinary assistants and other staff understand that when it comes to saving the lives of our pets, every second can make a difference. The faster information can be interpreted by the veterinary staff, the faster that individual will be able to provide the appropriate care to the pet. When it comes to communicating in the veterinary world, where the patients can’t speak for themselves, oftentimes a color-coded label will speak louder than words.

This is a common occurrence on filing cabinets and storage. Unfortunately, with many labels, if you remove them you are left with a sticky adhesive left behind, or even worse, pieces of town label that don’t come off easily.

In situations where you don’t want to permanently label objects and files, removable labels make the most sense.

Removable labels give you the flexibility to mark your files, products and equipment for tracking and identification purposes. Contrary to what you might believe, removable labels are priced economically and can be easily printed on your Dymo printer. The labels can be peeled away to leave behind no marks, paper residue or adhesive behind.

However, in addition to the more traditional uses, removable labels can come in handy for many other projects and are useful to keep stored in your bag or briefcase. In the home, temporary labeling of office files, important books, and storage boxes or bins are just a few ways in which removable labels can come in handy.
