I were texting back-and-forth.  Basically, we didn't want to run outside. It was going to be colder than usual. And we didn't want to get out of bed. 

This morning, we sucked it up and ran. 
We met at 6 a.m. and we ran after a brief walk up the first incline. 

The temperature display at the bank registered 29 degrees.  I didn't have that Sherry's race bib (

Sometimes, we just need to take the off-beaten path, to "disappear" from the regular life, 
to "lose" yourself to something/some place new, different, unfamiliar.

Ran: 2 miles in 21:59 minutes.  The run sucked! Maybe my nutrition is funky today. But it is really only 2 miles and I don't think nutrition has much to do with it.  Maybe it is because of me standing in heels all day? I am beginning to see that whenever I wear heels, my knees get tired or wonky. :( Definitely a thing to consider.

I did 70. I got a little confused on the criteria too, so if anyone can offer some enlightenment, please. 
I thought it is 100 push-ups per week and that means a total of 400 for February. But if I didn't hit the 100 on Week #1, does that mean I am out? Or does it mean I am still in the game, as long as I hit the 400 for the month

I made quite a lot of unhealthy food choices today.
I took a day off from work, and was on the road with my boyfriend delivering furniture. Pizza from Sam's Club. 
Sour gummi bears from gas station. 
Also had an ice cream cone. I got home and got to running on the treadmill.Total: ﻿3.5 miles. Ran 8 x 400 at 6 mph. Recovery @ 5 mph for 0.05 mile. 
But it was a speedy workout. Did 0.5

Nine miles on schedule today and none is done. It doesn't help that the tummy feels empty and I'm generally "limpy" and "soft" all over. 
Two thoughts dominate my mind as I lay in bed, blogging from my phone. 
1) I need to run the 9 miles.
2) Drinking wine should help, right? Wine has alcohol right, and alcohol kills cooties.... See where I am

I ran not only 8 miles but 8.5 miles. And I didn't get a headache after the run (which means I drank enough fluids and didn't get dehydrated). 
Knees felt good. 
My bottoms are a tad tight, especially the sciatica area, the ankles are tired. 
Sunday called for three easy miles. 
The sciatica area acted a little funky. 
I expected some kind of soreness since the

Running friend Mr. J and I did two loops (4.5 mile and 4 mile). Which means, we did a total of 8.5 miles. It was a good run. Average pace was 11:36ish. But since this is my first "long" run for this "training season" and the fact that I haven't been running continuously, the pace was quite good.

Just finished 7 x 0.25 speed intervals @ 7mph. 
I messed up on the recovery portions of the run though. The speed was set at 5 and 4 and instead of keeping steady at a 2-minute recovery jogs, I did the recovery portions at either 1 minute-ish or whenever the mileage/time is at a whole number (to keep the calculation easier). It was a speedy run. A run I thoroughly enjoyed

All day long, I wanted something hot.
Hot maple brown sugar oatmeal.
Hot cocoa.
Hot milky tea.
There nothing more soothing than a comforting warm stream of yummy down your throat and into your belly.
