Lady Gaga is set to start touring on April 27 in Seoul, South Korea. A government agency has banned anyone from under the age of 18 to attend the concert. First it was to be a 12 and over show, but the Korea Media Rating board has given no reason as to why they changed the age, but it is speculated that since there are many religious groups against Lady Gaga, they changed the age. Now Lady Gaga is speaking out. She tweeted that she wished to thank anyone and everyone who are speaking out against this ruling. She feels that parents should be given the opportunity to decide what their children may see. Lady Gaga has performed in Seoul before in 2009 and the age was 12 and over. Last month, a Christian group said that they opposed Lady Gaga since she supports homosexuality as well as saying she had evil spirits. Another group claims that the song “Just Dance” has some lyrics that are harmful to the children because they refer to drinking in the song. Many people say that the ruling is out of touch with today’s society and should be changed. There have been many hot debates over it.

Lady Gaga had a date night with her boyfriend,  Taylor Kinney, star of the show Vampire Diaries.  The shocking thing was that she was dressed normal for this date in West Hollywood.  She wore a blue leopard print shirt and a pair of slacks.  The two went to SoHo house.  She donned a pair of sunglasses as well and her two toned hair was not done very nice.  The star did not look like her outrageous self at all.  She must have been saving it all for when she wore her wild and crazy outfit for the Grammys the other night, where she was complete in a domimatrix style outfit.  Gaga and Kinny have been dating since July.

Lady Gaga has teamed up with Oprah.  Oprah will help Lady Gaga with the Born This Way foundation. The unveiling of the foundation will take place on February 29 at Harvard University.  The event will also be shown on Oprah’s channel, OWN, on the show “Oprah’s Next Chapter”.  A press release stated that the BTWF    “explores  the best ways to reach youth and create a new culture of kindness, bravery, acceptance and empowermen.”  The foundation is a joint effort with John D. & Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, The California Endowment and The Berkman Center.  The foundation will address bullying, self confidence and other issues in teens lives.

Lady Gaga wants people of this earth to be kind to one another. She has a mission to do this with her foundation, Born This Way. She started the charity in February with her mother, Cynthia Germanotta. The foundation was created to help give youth the confidence that they need these days. Lady Gaga believes that too many people these days are suffering from bullying and have self-confidence problems. Gaga has stated that tolerance will be more effective at creating a peace than outrage will. Gaga wants to create awesome communities with younger people in them.

Gaga tweeted on her twitter account yesterday that empowerment is key. She feels that if young people are reached out to, they will be able to save lives on both sides of the equation. She has praised dateline for the work they have done on bullying. She thought it was great that they showed the side of the bully and the victim. She would like to see empathy take the place of anger. She would like to see the youth gravitate towards empathy instead of aggression. She tweeted that compassion is the water to put out an angry fire.

Gaga was recently honored at a ceremony for promoting positive images of gays, bi-sexuals, and transgender people.

Fans under 18 years of age will not be able to see Lady Gaga in Seoul, South Korea. Lady Gaga will start her tour there on April 27. The show was originally set for 12 and older. The state watchdog, The Korea Media Rating board has set the limits of age for this show. Religious groups have opposed Lady Gaga doing the concert saying that she advocates homosexuality and performs in a sexually manner. The group states that young children do not need to see this since it deals with porn and homosexuality in their eyes. Lady Gaga is on her Born This Way tour. Refunds will be offered to any person under the age of 18 who has already bought a ticket for the show. 38,000 tickets have already been sold for the show and of those, only 1 percent were teenagers. The Korea Media Rating board has not stated a reason as to why they made the ruling, but it is spectulated that the religious groups have a hand in the ruling.

Lady Gaga got a scolding from her father.  At a New York Mets baseball game in 2010, Lady gaga was photographed and flipped the bird to the camera.  Her father, Joseph Germanotta, was not amused.  She says he did not like the gesture at all and was not thrilled that she was at a Mets basketball  game to begin with.  but Lady Gaga figured she was done with touring and needed a break after being on the road for 2 years.  She says that after you down lots of whiskey and beer you are quick to forget that you are indeed famous, and so she gave the finger.

Lady Gaga took a tour last week in Napa, Geyersville, and Sonoma to check out some vineyards.  She is currently thinking of buying one up as an investment.  Lady Gaga is known as a foodie who would like to know more about the production of red wine.  There is spectulation that she will buy a vineyard to run as a business opportunity with her boyfriend Taylor Kinney in case her music career goes belly up.  Lady Gaga is currently busy with not only her music career, but she also started a social site online, has a foundation she runs, and also just reached 20 million twitter followers.

Lady Gaga has hit 20 million followers on Twitter.  Lady Gaga says that she is the one updating her account as well, not others.  She is ahead of some of the bigger stars as well, such as Justin Timberlake and Shakira.  And she is also in the process of coming out with a game called Gagaville, whichis similar to Farmville on Facebook.  Gaga is also 8 million copies of her album Born This Way.  This is credited to being such a huge player on the social scene.  And she just recently started her own social site called Little Monsters.
