This post will be short and sweet; just wanted to invite all my lovely readers to join me and many other San Francisco vintage sellers tomorrow evening for a night of shopping, mingling, and of course drinking! It’s being hosted by Designers + Artists and Co-Hosted by the lovely Ashley of Fancy Fine. I will have a booth set up with a rack of vintage treasures, some accessories and I can’t go very far without some candy! This dress has been in my closet since the beginning of summer and I still love it just the same as I did when I first received it. It’s easily become my ‘go-to’ dress for it’s adorable details, easy to wear attribute and it’s completely versatile. I can’t count the times I’ve worn it but each time feels different than the last which makes it feel fresh. I love accentuating any large collar so you can only imagine how I feel about this particular ensemble… obsessed!

This vintage blouse was one of my birthday gifts and I couldn’t be happier with the adorable print. I love when there are multiple colors in a pattern because you can pick and choose the ones you want to accentuate and you can work with whatever season it may be so you can wear it year round. I’m also a sucker for any top with an attached ascot or tie because it truly can make the simplest outfit have so much more character.

Another week has gone by and I can hardly believe that we are halfway through February; where does the time go?! I had such a wonderful time (despite getting an awful stomach bug) celebrating my birthday one treat at a time. I’m really excited for the weekend because I’m actually going out dancing to celebrate with my friends since Valentine’s Day tends to be hard. I’m sure I will have pictures and stories to share next week and I hope all of you have a memorable weekend where you can share it with me, too!

Everyday is a new day for me to style up a new outfit whether I’m inspired by a certain color, a specific ring or even a pair of shoes, I always like to see what inspirations will create my days ensemble. This outfit was completely inspired by my new shoes I received from my boyfriend’s mom for my birthday. They’ve been on my wish list for a while now simply for the color, shape and versatility they hold. Shoes are my absolute weakness and every new pair I get I become overly obsessed with until a new pair comes along; I’ve instantly become smitten with these beauties and they easily are now my go-to shoe.

I always love a baggy silhouette that people may overlook but deep down personally you know you could make it work in one way or another. That’s exactly how I felt after we received this dress in at work. I don’t like form fitted dresses but I also don’t want to keep something overly baggy; that’s why I always use a belt to cinch my waistline to make my figure somewhat seen. This dress had minimal but beautiful details that made me want to buy it; the color palette, nice structured shoulders and the visible zip up the back made this simple mini shift a definite keeper.

Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite days not just because it happens to be my birthday, but because I have an excuse to eat an insane amount of treats and forget about all the responsibilities I have for a day… who wouldn’t love that?! I can’t believe I am 22 today; in my heart I still feel like a 5 year old girl playing dress up while watching disney movies… I guess much hasn’t really changed! I don’t have much to say just wanted to wish you all the happiest of days spent with the people you love the most, I know that’s what I’ll be doing! I always get really nostalgic around February because I have so many memories of sweet things occurring during this month. Every year while growing up my family would travel to Florida to be with some of my family to celebrate my great grandma’s, great uncle’s, grandma’s and my birthdays. We would go to Chuck E Cheese even though the creepy mouse would somehow scare me year after year! It’s funny to look back on silly traditions that your family had. My boyfriend’s birthday was last week and mine is coming up on Tuesday, so clearly we’re making the celebrations last as long as possible! I don’t think we will be going to Chuck E Cheese anytime soon but I’m looking forward to another fun weekend of eating and drinking with friends, shopping, relaxing and of course spending some time with family! This was what I wore a few days ago while working hard at school. On exceptionally long days I always turn to oversized cardigans, comfy blouses and in this case skinny jeans. I’m not much of a jeans gal but sometimes having an outfit that requires little ‘fuss’ somehow makes the day feel less overwhelming. I guess it also helps when the cardigan is pink and the blouse is covered in cheerful flowers… you can’t really be sad with that!

I’m excited to say that you can officially shop my new store! I’ve put in so many hours of work and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the help of my sweet guy and my best friend who agreed to model some of the pieces. It’s a work in progress but I’m thrilled with how it’s turned out thus far. I would love any feedback because it really makes a difference hearing what others have to say from a different perspective. For now, I hope you all enjoy it and this is to the future and growth of my shop!
