When I recently returned from LOS, I had a new credit card sent to me -I had not expected one as the one I had did not expire for a few years.
Then I noticed my name was not quiet right, so instead of ringing and registering it, I rang and spoke to the fraud department.
Seems someone in LOS had applied for a new card in my name at my address, but with them as the second card holder and the security info and codes known to them only - would never had given it a second thought if the name had been right.
Outcome has made life a misery for applying for anything from Banks and credit as they double check everything because of this attempted fraud.
The only place i used this card was with the hotel in Bangkok and with Sawadee booking agency, Thai Railway, and a hotel in Khoen Kaen.
Anybody else had problems like this?

Reached bkk airport at 7am got my visa done (1000 bahts) and within 45 mins out.
Was planning to take a bus but the next bus was at 9am . dint wait .hence took a cab 1000 bahts (with toll)
Climate was hot but got some passing showers on the road.
Reached within 1.5 hrs at the condo I had booked( I will talk about my condo later . as there is a lot to say about the people whom I rented from . the best people I have ever stayed and met in thailand)
A little to start is excellent well maintained condo .
owners (farang man+thai wife)very helpful,understanding and friendly. Gives more than u ask ,commited ,hassle free etc.in simple u feel at HOME .
Checked in and off to get me a bike(with two helmets lol)
So now directly to the night scene:
1st went off to WALKING STREET very busy like a market .walked down till the end and back just to get the feel . I felt like the place was full with arabs,indians,koreans and ofcourse the see thru dressed russians women with giant men in tiny boxers.
One thing I have observed that pattaya is always crowded with the ruskies . it was like RUSSIA was just as close as bangkok for russia. Loads of rusiians in all pattaya.
Now for the bar scene.
On the way back hit x zone-there is some new arab club named IRONY just at its entrance , when I was moving up . x zone girls have changed bar was hardly occupied the girls had sad and sleepy faces and least interested in intereacting with new customers. So had 1 singha( my best drink in a lousy place).and out. So the 1 st gogo visited was flop.
2nd airport as usual small and packed same stuff

What would your plan be for three days in Pattaya?

So I arrive in Pattaya this Friday for (hopefully) the next step in my evolution to LB mongerer.
