This design was done for a cousin's little girl. It is proving to be quite popular. We have made several of them with different colors and different names of course. Here are some examples:

As with all of our step stools these are tip resistant. They are very stable because the legs flair out from the top. The child can stand one footed on the very edge and still not tip the stool over.

So, to this point our 2 step stools have been available only made from MDF. As of yesterday they are now available in pine wood. They look beautiful. The pine is a little harder to work with than MDF as the grain of the wood and the knotts make it less predictable but we think they turned out great. Judge for youself here:

Welcome to the Laffy Daffy blog. Here we intend to share the latest information about what is going on in the Laffy Daffy workshop. We will talk about new products that we are working on and hopefully get some comments on what new product you would like to see. We are also very interested in hearing any suggestions on how to make our products better. Let us know. In the mean time keep checking back to see what we're up to. We will be blogging about step stools, wall hangings, cork boards, white boards, and other message or bulletin boards, kids room decor and anything else wood related. We will also be talking about vinyl lettering as we now are able to cut out vinyl.
