This is about a relatively new young couple making headlines for their romance, both with their respective spotlights. For months now, one of them has been putting together a special project that’s expected to last for almost a year, with cameras following everywhere, documenting everything. Recently though, producers were given a heads up that the new love interest would be open to making appearances, and that they’d agreed to show intimate moments. Because of this new development, shooting plans and budgets would have to change. Which is fine. They have a lot of money to spend so the concern isn’t financial and the potential reach is a major selling feature. It’ll be exclusive and it’ll generate a lot of attention.

What’s curious, though, is that the offer also came with a guarantee. Again, they’re projecting a shoot schedule of several months and they’ve now been promised that the couple would be together for the entire duration. That there would be no change in relationship status the whole time. Which is a weird assurance to make, especially considering these two are young and beautiful and famous and infamous and love is volatile in any circumstance, exponentially more when it’s being observed. Still, that’s what’s on the table. And that’s why some people are like… really? Can we really put that on paper? How do you know? How can you be so certain? Why are you being so certain?

You can understand then that behind the scenes there’s some skepticism. Either they’re really naïve and stupid, always possible considering the players here, and actually believe they can make it or they’re not naïve and stupid and in fact quite calculating and strategic about being in love and benefitting from it in the process or it’s only about benefit and not at all about reality. We won’t know for a while. But watch for it over the next year to 18 months or so.

Not just celebrity real estate news. It would be major, major celebrity real estate news.

About a piece of property that once belonged to an iconic entertainer. What was once a happy place became associated with controversy and then pretty much abandoned. Someone however, supposedly wants to restore its glory. But enough to buy it?

Certain family members of another arguably iconic entertainer of this generation are going around telling people that he’s purchased the estate. And that he will be putting it all back together, devoting considerable resources to upgrading the space and making it worthy of our dreams again. Allegedly he’s already spent some time there undercover. It’s not known when he would make the announcement, if an announcement is to be made at all. Because these family members aren’t always reliable. And because of their reputations, members of his team take care to keep information on a need to know basis. Either they’re full of a sh-t then or they’d be potentially jeopardising a huge acquisition. If this goes through, though, if this is true, it’s a fairytale story. Almost unbelievable.

Were you dying to know what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did for Valentine’s Day? According to US Weekly they were together in London and stayed in.

“Harry and Meghan are together at Kensington Palace,” an insider tells Us of their February 14 plans. “Tonight, she and Harry are staying in for Valentine’s.”

The Suits star, 35, has mostly been staying at the British royal’s Kensington Palace home, Nottingham Cottage, since late December. "It's become Meghan's home away from home," a source has told Us. "All the security know her, she slips in and out whenever she likes."

It’s almost been two months straight now that Meghan’s been in London with Harry, apart from a short trip to India. Suits doesn’t start back up again until at least March so she can stay another month if she wants to, holed up in the Love Cocoon. That’s what it’s like in the early days, non? Why go out when you can just be in the same space and stare at each other all day and night?

I’ve been wondering about her dogs though. She has two. Are they at KP too? There’s been no mention in any of the royal reports. But we already know Will and Kate’s Lupo stays there when the Cambridges are in residence. And, my God, imagine having all that space, all those grounds to run around in. Not that that’s high on the list of bonuses of possibly marrying Prince Harry. But, like, it’s not gonna suck for anyone.

On Sunday night, when many of us were being engulfed by dragonfire, Anna Faris and Chris Pratt announced that they’re ending their marriage through their social media accounts:

Maybe they thought that doing it during Daenerys and Drogon’s attack on the Lannisters would make their breakup more low profile than it could have been. Maybe they hadn’t considered releasing the statement on the weekend gives the tabloids enough time to rearrange their features and cover stories so that the story can be included in this week’s issues. These two don’t typically rank too high on the list of Hollywood’s most aggressive media manipulators so I’m not as suspicious of the timing and whether or not there may be any ulterior motives involved as I would be if it were anyone else. And as far as separation statements are concerned, this one is a lot more candid than the usual “we have decided to end our marriage, we respect each other, leave us alone” version we’re accustomed to seeing.

“We tried hard, and we’re really disappointed” is not a lie. And if you’ve been reading this site for at least a couple of years and you’re not, ahem, blind, you probably aren’t surprised. First things first, any suggestion that this had something to do with Jennifer Lawrence is ridiculous and amateur. It means you haven’t been paying attention. As for whether or not it has to do with fame and the fact that Chris Pratt is a box office star now, associated with two major franchises, and has grown out of his old wife and his old life and is looking for an upgrade – I mean I’m all for sh-tting on an upgrading asshole but that’s not true either.

I’m told by multiple sources, including the ones who originally riddle-sourced me, that Chris was right there with Anna, as supportive as he could have been. There’s just some sh-t you have to face alone. And there’s some sh-t that takes its toll on the strongest of marriages, over and above infidelity and the usual messes that we’re used to seeing in famous marriages.

Last night TMZ reported that the divorce between Anna and Chris is “as amicable as it gets” and that their sources also confirm that what came between them wasn’t drama but the reality of wanting different things at different times and what they each wanted out of their marriage. According to TMZ, Anna wanted more children which, um, if you had the sight, is consistent with the issues that came up a couple of years ago. And it’s not that Chris didn’t want more kids, necessarily, but that, well, sometimes kids aren’t necessarily a solution.

So, if you’re inclined to take sides, there’s really no side to take here. There was no cheating, no ego, no scandal.

Elon supposedly pursued Amber for years, from when she was still with Johnny Depp. To me it always seemed like being with him was a bonus f-ck you to JD. Elon clarified today that there’s been no drama. And she did not ask the court to grant her a restraining order against him. Brad Pitt is currently on the cover of US Weekly with Sienna Miller. They were at Glastonbury together although, supposedly, they weren’t together-together, at least not according to sources from his side who are trying to insist that they’re not a thing.

This week Brad’s been papped a few times in LA, leaving his office, focused on work and not romance. Here he is yesterday close to the office, taking a coffee break before. He’s as fit as he’s looked in a while, not quite as thin as he was a couple of months ago. This is what we’re supposed to be talking about: Brad’s not dating, Brad’s not with Sienna, Brad’s just taking care of business.

The other day, when I posted about Brad and Sienna, I mentioned that while Sienna is totally his type, the type that would benefit him best, at least from the MiniVan Majority’s perspective, is Jennifer Garner. That’s who America would want to see him with – someone they totally relate to. Can you imagine the nuclear headlines that would result from that? So many angles. Like, for starters, how Ben Affleck would feel about it.

That said, I don’t know that it’s possible. If Jennifer Garner hooked up with Brad Pitt, it’d be her second Gwyneth Paltrow succession. And I feel like the presence of GP in Ben’s past bothered her more than Jennifer Lopez ever did.

According to the UK Sun, Brad Pitt and Sienna Miller hooked up at Glastonbury this weekend. Brad Pitt evidently doesn’t want us to think or know this because Gossip Cop is trying to discredit the story, citing two sources on Brad’s side who insist it didn’t go down like that. Sure.

In addition to their report about Brad and Sienna, the Sun is also saying that Katy Perry and Chris Martin also hooked up at Glastonbury. Supposedly they were seen holding hands. Chris was also supposedly seen kissing another artist, Dua Lipa, the day before. His reps have denied the Dua Lipa part but so far haven’t commented on the Katy Perry rumours. So, basically, Chris Martin is doing at a music festival what a lot of people do at music festivals: random.

What if, though? What if Katy and Chris make it beyond a festival weekend? That is if he is actually no longer with Annabelle Wallis. With Annabelle, Chris seemed much more comfortable being out in public. They danced down the street together in Paris, remember? That could be because Annabelle isn’t as well-known as… well… his ex-wife, for starters. And also Jennifer Lawrence. Katy Perry is definitely more on the Paltrow-Lawrence level of fame than Annabelle Wallis. Like in any possible Katy Perry-Chris Martin equation, Katy Perry is the bigger deal. That worked for Orlando Bloom because Orlando was desperate for a boost. But I’m not sure that works for Chris Martin. If he couldn’t handle having the paps around when he was with GP, what would it be like around Katy Perry? As for what Katy would be getting out of this, Jennifer Lawrence would know. She used to have a nickname for it.

Ben Affleck revealed on Facebook late yesterday that he was in treatment for alcohol addiction.

You may have known about this already, that he’s been making good decisions. And this was the best decision, made undoubtedly with the support of Jennifer Garner, the person who’s always been a solid influence in his life.

This is not Ben’s first time in rehab. Back in 2001, it was Charlie Sheen who drove Ben to Promises in Malibu. (I know, right???) After that, he started dating Jennifer Lopez. And after that it was Jennifer Garner and their children and his comeback and Argo and Batman and… and…and…and…

Addiction is enough of a beast on its own without fame and entitlement and the trappings of Hollywood. We’ve seen often how the industry condones certain behaviours, enables them even, and in Ben Affleck’s case, this escalation wasn’t overnight; it happened over an extended period, a period when wellness may not have been a priority – not for him and perhaps not for the people who needed production more than wellness.

Ben Affleck is fortunate though. He keeps getting chances. Nobody’s passing him over for projects. He’s still at the top of the list. And that’s not the case for everyone.

PEOPLE reported first thing this morning that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have called off their divorce – for now:

Though the actors, both 44 — who announced their separation back in June 2015 — aren’t back together, they have decided to keep working on their marriage after going through a recent rough patch that nearly led to a permanent split.

“Jen has called off the divorce,” a source close to Garner tells PEOPLE in the latest issue. “She really wants to work things out with Ben. They are giving things another try.”
But a source close to the couple says it was a decision they both made: “There is always a chance of reconciliation. They love each other. They also really, really love their kids, and those kids love their parents.”

Last month, US Weekly reported that Jennifer was actually ready to move ahead with the divorce. Now PEOPLE isn’t disputing that original story but is updating the situation… so… why?

What happened between early February and now?

Well, Ben’s kept a pretty low profile. Professionally he recently announced that he will not be directing The Batman and there’s been some rumouring that he may not even star in the movie. On the personal side, he was at the Oscars to support his brother Casey but was not seen at any of the after-parties. So, it would seem that Ben’s focusing on family right now and perhaps that focus is what convinced Jennifer to reconsider, giving her reason to believe that their marriage can be repaired and that they can come out stronger for it.

Ben and Jennifer are both Rats. Remember the forecast for Rats in the Year of the Rooster? Rats are supposed to be super lucky this year – and 1972 Rats are the luckiest of all Rats… but only if they stay focused and make good decisions. If you believe Chinese astrology then, yes, they are totally getting back together. If he can keep his sh-t together.

Oh and also? Great timing for these sources to be talking to PEOPLE…you know…um… this week, almost like it’s … insurance? She's always the one who’s had his back, always the one who saves him from himself.

You may have heard that he’s been scaling back on some of his work commitments, major projects that meant a lot to him. These are good decisions. Part of a series of better decisions that he’s been making lately. And the best decision is that he’s been in treatment.

Which is why he’s kept a relatively low profile. And the catalyst for that seems to be the person who’s always been a solid influence in his life. She told him she was ready to move forward and shortly after that, he left to get help, out of town where he’s had some success before. He briefly came home so that he could stand up for family recently but then went right back to focus on self-care. Which is why there’s been no comment on a recent rumour that he may be stepping back from his big role. They still want him but his focus right now is not on work and, for the time being, they’re respecting that.

Ben Affleck was very emotional last night when Casey Affleck won the Oscar. He kissed and hugged his little brother. He was teary-eyed in the audience during Casey’s acceptance speech.

See Matt Damon in the corner of that shot? I feel like he really wants to come over.

In the press room, Casey was asked about Ben’s reaction:

It was very moving. Obviously, my brother, to have him there, it was a nice moment," Casey told reporters in the press room at Hollywood's Dolby Theater. "He didn't actually say anything. He just hugged me. A lot of people have been giving me some grief for not thanking him in the past, but in a friendly way."

"I saw those tears and I thought maybe I'm just not making a good speech and he was really disappointed. But I think he was probably touched, and I think that we are — I mean, not to brag or anything, but I think we're the only two brothers to win Academy Awards, ever," Casey added.

"I've learned a lot from him because he's been through a lot in this business and ups and downs and been under-appreciated and then it's been proven how great he is," Casey continued backstage. "It's been an advantage to be able to watch someone you love and you know so well go try to navigate the very tricky, rocky, sometimes hateful waters of being famous."

Ohhhhhh…kayyyyy….

Can we just back it up and crush the exaggeration going on here? Since when is Ben Affleck under-appreciated? He won an Oscar 20 years ago – at age 25, then the youngest ever Oscar winner for Best Original Screenplay. And is it really fame that’s made Ben’s waters rocky and hateful….or is it Ben himself who’s also agitating calm waters and making waves? This is who they are, the Affleck brothers. They rewrite their own histories, they edit out their mistakes, their bad decisions, they turn themselves into victims. And… as always… they will be FINE.

Ben looks weird as f-ck though, non? I just checked back to what he looked like at last year’s Oscars…

And we were already talking about his face changes last year. But compared this year, 2016 was such an improvement. Now? Now it’s so tight it looks like he’s in pain when he smiles. Like his cheeks refuse to move. Are you seeing that too?

Here’s a scenario to consider:

Let’s say you’re dating a guy and you’re super into each other, and you’ve been staying with him, and he’s really serious about you, the most serious he’s been about anyone. He lives in the same complex with someone he’s very close to. And the person he’s close to has a partner too. You and she don’t know each other well. But since you’ve been staying there, you run into each other one day. And you tell her you’re going shopping and where. She says she’s going shopping too and leaves in the car. You head out on foot. Turns out, she went shopping exactly where you went shopping. And she knew that’s where you were going. But she didn’t offer you a ride.

Is that weird?

Maybe it’s not that weird. But considering who they are, it IS super gossipy.

There’s all kinds of work to be done before starting on a movie. In addition to preparing for the role, many roles require the actor to get into shape physically. Your first assumption here is to think that means working out. Most of the time. Some of the time it’s about your face. And this is not just the women.

Before starting on his upcoming blockbuster, producers were concerned after test shots that he looked too unnatural and puffy. They asked him, rather directly, to have his fillers dissolved. It’s an action movie after all, he can’t be looking dewy and plump like he’s at the spa while he’s doing all those action sequences. In order to speed up the process he first switched over to a detox diet to lean out and then he went back to the doctor to deflate his face. In my opinion he’s really better off for it. So, just in case you didn’t already know, in Hollywood, the actors are doing it and OVER doing it just as much as the actresses.

IN TOUCH Weekly reported exclusively yesterday that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are done. I don’t love IN TOUCH as a source but what’s interesting is that it’s been a full 24 hours and, so far, none of the legitimate celebrity outlets, like E! News or PEOPLE or US Weekly or Entertainment Tonight or Access Hollywood have come out to kill or corroborate the story. Which means they’re all trying to find out from their sources whether or not it’s true.

Here’s Orly in Malibu yesterday. He and Katy haven’t been seen together since Halloween, so about three weeks ago. Since then, well, a lot has changed. As in an election. Katy was one of Hillary Clinton’s most vocal supporters. She took it hard. And everything on her social media after November 8 has been about taking action, staying focused, and continuing to advocate for the issues that matter to her, most importantly women’s reproductive health.

So, if Katy and Orly have indeed broken up, it would have happened some time after Halloween, and in and around the time of the election. Did political upheaval result in personal upheaval? According to IN TOUCH, Katy wanted to get more serious, and Orlando wasn’t ready for it. Other sources told the magazine that "they were on different life paths and as much as she likes him, it's time to move on”.

If the split is true, I’m more inclined to believe it was the “different life paths”. Orly really, really enjoys a certain lifestyle. Wouldn’t surprise me if she was over it.

He’s single now so he’s free for single nights. And it seems he has a signature one night special, something he sends afterwards so that he can be remembered. But before we get to that, let’s get into the action first. The action he often enjoys on these nights is to do it his way all over the breasts. I quite like this move myself, with the right person. Now that you know this about him though? Are you thinking what I’m thinking? And picturing his kink and his past? Who he was with in the past?

As for that memento, the something to remember, even though he’s famous he has no worries Snapping to his one nights a picture of his dick. One of the reasons he’s probably not that concerned about his dick getting out, though I don’t think it has (yet), is because of how it’s been described by those who’ve seen it (and there are multiples). Here are some of the adjectives: “big”, “veiny”, “massive”. It’s almost as though he wants us to see, wants his dick pics to be shared. He does it with such frequency, it’s almost as though he’s daring it to happen. Sure, if that happens, he’ll front outrage, but it’s not like he’s particularly discerning about the recipients. It’s just that, so far, the recipients haven’t bothered. Which makes it even better, or maybe worse. That, perhaps, even though it’s “big, veiny, massive”, the recipients – so far, at least – haven’t felt the need to boast about it, about him, in particular.

Amanda Seyfried stepped out today in New York, with her dog, without her fiancé. Her fiancé is now Thomas Sadoski. US Weekly confirmed it yesterday. Amanda and Thomas worked together last year on the play The Way We Get By. He was married at the time. His marriage ended last summer. And he and Amanda, um, “reconnected” (this is how the magazine describes it) earlier this year on The Last Word. They went public with their relationship in March which must, like, totally, totally have been really new into their situation, like barely a couple of months in. Super fresh. So, if you want to get technical, they’ve been dating 9 months and now they’re getting married …which…you know, in some ways, they’re kinda perfect together, maybe even less likely to disappoint each other.

An actor in a bad mood with his date, not famous. She’s oblivious to his sulky behaviour, pretty excited to be there, and pleads with him to take a picture with her. When she pulls him into the booth, he obliges, then there’s a loud thud from inside, followed by a muffled gasp. He exits. She comes out a few minutes later, weeping, and then leaves by herself.

A married couple. She’s the star in the relationship. But they love getting high together. Sometimes, when they’re using though, she gets paranoid and insecure. One night she accused him of being attracted to someone else. She starts obsessing about her weight. They start fighting. He starts pleading with her. He pulls her into the photo booth to calm her down. She’s crying about wanting to throw up her dinner, doesn’t want to wait until they get home. He grabs a napkin and she does it right there.

And finally, he’s young, she’s older. She’s feeling herself though, that he would be interested in her, after having children and after her sh-tty relationship. So, emboldened by his attraction to her, when they end up in the photo booth, she rewards him for his attention and sucks him off.

US Weekly reported this week that Gavin Rossdale and Elin Nordegren went on a first date recently. Please please please will it be ok for me to just say this one thing because I can't help myself? Gavin and Gwen Stefani got divorced because she caught him cheating with the nanny; Elin used to be a nanny! I'm sorry. I had to.

Anyway, US says that Gavin and Elin were set up by mutual friends. This is very interesting to me. Imagine you had a friend who came to you all like "I have a guy for you!"

Ok. Tell me about him.

"He's got 3 kids. He's financially stable. He's good looking. Oh and his marriage ended because he kept f-cking around on his wife, the last time with their nanny."

The mutual friend? Not sure. But they might have Roger Federer in common. Tiger Woods and Roger are friends. Roger and Gavin are very good friends. Roger would totally be the kind of friend who'd vouch for Gavin despite the cheating.
