As a result of continuing interest and growth from across the country, the RSAA grew into a national organization that represents the major inbound operators in the United States who handle the inbound package tour business in this country.
While in the region, the group enjoyed a crisp autumn weekend and visited several of the areas that they will promote to their clients including both the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake and Tupper Lake’s Wild Center. They also toured several Olympic Regional Development Authority (ORDA) venues including Whiteface Mountain including the Olympic Museum, Whiteface Mountain and the sports complex luge/bobsled and skeleton track.
To learn more about how Essex County properties can work with the RSAA and other tour operators, contact Arlene Day, Lake Placid Essex County Visitors Bureau director of sales, at 523-2445 ext. 133 or through e-mail at arlene@lakeplacid.com. For more information about the Lake Placid Essex County Visitors Bureau, visit their web site, www.lakeplacid.com.
###

Media Advisory:
The Lake Placid Essex County Visitors Bureau announced Monday, Oct. 20, that Jon Lundin has been named the bureau’s director of Communications. Lundin joins the bureau after spending almost nine years as the United States Luge Association’s media and public relations manager. Lundin begins his responsibilities immediately and can be reached at 523-2445 ext. 104 or through e-mail at jon@lakeplacid.com.
Create an RSS Feed!

17th Annual Whiteface Octoberfest!

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGhs8krKOiaqiWYkJ9vSCnJIsnb2WSozeaTliTqRbsNTjTbO6y_E_mFh0IQQRhdmw7gSyKWIJyxuBfMkbNNIydyCiObIQ4F59wLIHkDBeI-c0lp_WEt5IEW3_aeIB28zRGodJ0CS_lvns/s200/Oktfestgondolapumpkin.JPG" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5252263199727653154" />
Come join us at Whiteface Mountain for a great time at the 17th Annual Whiteface Oktoberfest!
