Bollywood’s leading producer Sajid Nadiadwala has bought rights of Lakshmi Rai’s Tamil movie Onbadhula Guru. Onbadhula Guru, directed by PT Selvakumar, is a comedy flick in which Lakshmi Rai’s played key role opposite Vinay Rai. The movie didn’t do very well on the Sandlewood box office despite big publicity.

It is a big surprise why Sajid has bought the rights to make the Hindi remake. Earlier he has remade the Malayalam film Mattupetti Machan in Hindi as Housefull 2.

The Bollywood movie name is yet to be announced. It would be interesting to see who will play Lakshmi Rai’s role. Rumors are that Lakshmi Rai might get chance to play the lead role in the film. Why not? Who else will play better role for Lakshmi Rai than Lakshmi Rai herself?

Southern sex siren Lakshmi Rai’s much awaited film Onbadhula Guru is set to release soon but she seems to be unhappy.

Onbadhula Guru, directorial debut of P T Selvakumar and starring Vinay, Anjali and Lakshmi Rai has been slapped with A certificate by censor board. And Lakshmi Rai is furious over it.

‘Onbadhula Guru’ is the adventure story of 5 guys who are on expedition. Premji, Aravind Akash, Sathyan and Jagan play the lead roles in the film..

“Yes guys its A certificate. There is nothing as such in the movie fr us to get A. Its a clean film wit full of entertainment. Don’t know y! Anyways as u all know if its meant to do well n the movie is good nobody can change the faith of the film!”, Lakshmi Rai took micro blogging site twitter to vent her anger.

Lakshmi Rai in lead role in Arabian Safari

Sanjeev Sivan is already making a lot of buzz due to it’s theme and star studded cast. The latest buzz is that Southern sex siren Lakshmi Rai has replaced Dhwani in the film which also stars Mallika. Initially Rima Kallingal was supposed to play the lead role only to be replaced by Dhwani and not Lakshmi Rai will play lead role.

The story of Arabian Safari revolves around two women who come togther while on a journey. The film essays the message that women can’t be dominated by men.

The story is written by debutant Pratish Nandhan and it stars Jaaved Jaaferi, Mamukoya, Thesni Khan, Siddique and Narain.

As of now Lakshmi Rai seems to be in no mood for doing Bollywood films.

A renowned project ‘Bhindi Bazaar’ of Ankush Bhatt was offered to the diva but she refused to do the film. She clarified the rumors doing rounds that she has already signed Ankush’s film. She talked to a tabloid and refused any such plans.

She clarified that she was though approached for the movie and the script been given to her to read, but she had refused to do the movie. She reasons that she wants to make it big in the tinsel town and ‘Bhindi Bazaar’ is not the right choice for her.

She feels that her first Bollywood venture should be the best and she is not hurry. So she has opted to wait than to haste. She has hence opted out of the film.

These days the actress is busy shooting with the Kannada version of Kanchana (Muni) starring Upendra in addition to a Telugu movie Adhinayakadu opposite Balakrishna.

Lakshmi Rai signs 2nd Bollywood film

Lakshmi Rai, the sexy South Indian actress, has signed her 2nd Bollywood film. Lakshmi Rai has already had a debuted in Bollywood with Tere Bina Jiya Nahin Jaye.

As per report director Ankush Bhatt of Bhindi Baazaar fame approached her for his next venture which is expected to kick off by the end of April.
