Hello hello from Kuala Lumpur :)

I'm here for a 5 days vacation... NOT... I'm actually here to attend a Sign Language Course (Kursus Bahasa Isyarat) organized by Institut Sosial Malaysia (ISM).

note: I feel lucky :) ... Never thought that my 1st kursus of the year needs me to be in KL ... lol.

Staying at Prescott Inn for the 1st time (it's near Medan Tuanku's Monorail Station which is pretty convenient) and 1st time going to KL via Air Asia.

From LLCT (Air Asia's Low Cost Terminal) I took Sky Rapid (bus) which cost RM9 per trip to KL Central. From KL Central I walk to Brickfield Monorail (currently the fastest way to the monorail is block due to some construction site) that takes about 5 minutes. From the Brickfield Monorail I bought a ticket to MR8 (Medan Tuanku) that cost me RM2.50 per trip. Didn't take too long to reach MR8 (it took only 8 to 10 minutes). And lastly from the MR8 station it takes 1 minute to reach the hotel.... lol... travelling around KL is a piece of cake even for a country bumpkin like me ;)

Ok back to the topic... since it's just my 1st day (registration day) here, I still haven't learn a thing but really look forward to it since years ago. Working with OKU this past few year made me realize how important it is for everyone to learn and to be able to communicate with people with hearing/sight/speech problems. People with hearing/sight/speech disabilities have come so far as to learn signs to communicate with the community. I personally thing that if people everywhere learn signs just like they have it would lessen the communication barrier between normal and those with hearing/sight/speech disabilities. That's why I choose to come to KL all the way from KK (and erm erm little budget... belum gaji bah) to learn using sign.

So remember my last post about my period? Yay, finallly! 5 to 7 days after eating the last dose of Deviry 10mg, my period came out and last from 6 to 7 days. Now I hope, if I don't get preggy my second period this year comes out by the the same time last month or at least by the end of this month.

Happy New Year 2012 & A Visit to the Clinic

Happy New Year 2012!

Hope everything went well for everyone last year and may god bestows all his blessings upon all of you in the coming new year 2012 and in many years ahead.

So on new year I went to the clinic for a check-up since I haven't had my period for almost 5 - 6 months. I feel that I might be pregnant because I have several pregnancy symptoms such as strange cravings, mood swings, fatigue, stretch marks, stomach discomfort, enlarged abdomen, gaining lots of weight and to make it short ... I just 'feel' pregnant. In those 5- 6 months I took almost 15 home pregnancy tests but all shows negative/not pregnant.

I did went to the hospital last October but never had a clear result. I had my first ultrasound scan. The doctor says that nothing is wrong with me or with my uterus. I ask the doctor to explain why I haven't had my period for months and got a simple answer... I'm over-weight. So I went to the gym and had a trainer's advice on how to exercise and some balance diet tips. After 2 months I still don't see any much different. One things for sure that I feel like there is something going on with my body and had those preg symptoms like I mention earlier but much worst than before especially the cramps around my abdomen.

Still not satisfied with my first check up (hoping that the second check-up will give me a positive result but still trying not to get my hopes up), I went to a clinic that I'm used to going every time when I need to get my immunization shots. I'm suppose to get my 3rd and last dose of HPV Vaccine but before I do so I just want to make sure that I'm not pregnant. (Note: It's not recommended for pregnant women to take this vaccine).

The doctor's first reaction shows that I might be pregnant. Then I had my abdomen check and an ultrasound (I even have a copy of the ultrasound photo) showing a negative result. My doctor explained that me being over-weight might have cause hormone imbalance that causes no period and fertility problem due to the ovary unable to release any egg. My doctor gave Deviry 10 mg for my period (for 5 days), Adipex retard capsule (for 30 days) to help me with my weight and finally advice me to continue exercise and control my diet.

I really hope that my period comes back again. My menstrual cycles usually changes since my teens. It's usually on time and sometimes comes only after 40-50 days since my last period. There are times that I could even have my period for 5 days start during the end till early of the month (for example: Jan, 29 - Feb, 2). Could that be counted as 2 months? Heheh.

To be honest after the second check up, I did feel a little sad that I'm not preggy yet but at the same time feeling relieved that I can finally do my normal routine without worrying about it. Just imagine not knowing that your actually baking something in your oven for months (thinking I'm just fat and not care less if it grows like a balloon) and only to found out all this time your 7-9 months preggy and about to go for labour during one of your gym sessions (lol).

Anyway for now I'm going to take my doctor's advice (lose weight) and my husband and I will try to take this preggy issues one step at a time and just have fun for the time being. Never give up. Lastly I'm going to do some updates here if my period comes out after taking Deviry 10mg for 5 days (starting Jan 7).

Mau Stop ka or not my ASTRO ahh?!

Stop or not to stop my ASTRO account. That is the question.

Setiap kali saya terima bill Astro, saya selalu pikir patut ka sa terus bayar Astro untuk tengok TV atau tutup ja tu akaun saya dan tengok la TV style dulu... guna aerial ja macam time kici kici. Tapi ada ja yang buat saya susah mo buat decision.

Biasanya kalo sa mo tutup sebab malas mo bayar ni la alasan-alasan yang buat saya tidak jadi tutup:

My mom cakap mahu tengok Akademi Fantasia/American Idol.
Nephews and nieces saya tidak pandai duduk diam kalo tiada Disney Channel/Cartoon Network etc.
Laki sa mo tengok channel Korea/Discovery Channel/MasterChef.
Nenek saya mo tengok wayang P.Ramlee di channel Prima.
Dulu saya minat AXN sebab ada anime and techtv.
Kalo tengok TV tanpa ASTRO tidak cantik pula tu sebab signal aerial tidak bagus... nampak salji saja. Sayang ja pakai TV LED basar basar tapi gambar TV macam zaman perang jepun.

Pasal ni la saya bertahan bertahun tahun, walaupun saya jarang tengok TV sebab lebih banyak online dan TV dirumah pun sekadar untuk main PS/PS2/Wii/XBOX/dvd player ja.

Just recently Astro ada announce untuk menaikkan harga package and mine naik RM6 from the previous price. Yang mengherankan ni sudah kena warned kerajaan pun dorang masih juga tidak peduli. Maklum la dorang confident yang pengguna tidak akan boikot sebab macam "keperluan" sudah Astro dirumah dan tidak akan ada masalah kurang pengguna tapi akan ramai lagi pengguna langgan Astro. Nasib la dorang bukan syarikat telekomunikasi mcm maxis/digi/celcom/tm....kalo ya lama sudah pengguna stop. Hmm... Let's wait and see kalo ada lain competitor satelite TV pop out someday in the future who knows when.

So I think it's time for me to finally say bye bye to mine. I don't think that I will regret closing it since I can lower my monthly expenses and buli juga buang masa go exercise atau gardening . I don't want to end up a couch potato LOL.

My journey in becoming his missus

Here's my story. Alex and I met in year 2000 when we were working at McDonald's CPS. We have been normal friends until he confessed how much he likes me on October 2000. We started dating on our birthday that same year and who would have thought that 11 years later both of us are still together.

This year both Alex and I decided to go to the next level of our relationship. Marriage. Before both of us spill the beans to our family, Alex and I went to a Pre-Marriage Course just so that we could prepare mentally, on what were about to get ourself into. It was at Saint John Tuaran Church on February 10th and it took only 3 days. Only after the pre-marriage course that both of us told our parents that we want our relationship to be official and that Alex's family will be coming to Tuaran to meet my mom on February 27th.

Everthing went smoothly since then. We went to make an appointment for the church wedding reception at Stella Maris Tg. Aru church and was interview by Father Fandes and then to the Registration Office in Tuaran on the same day.

All the important dates are set:

Engagement Day (April 2nd, 2011);

JPN Wedding (April 12th, 2011); and

Official Church Wedding and Lunch Reception (Jun 4th, 2011)

Now all that's left is the preparations, the support of our family and lastly God's Blessing! I pray that everything will end up great for us and our family.

My 4 Months Weight Loss Challenge

I am currently trying to loss weight. My current weight is 80kg, which is over-weight/obese since my height is just around 155cm to 157cm. Now I'm trying to lose about 20kg to 24kg to get my ideal weight.

So starting today, January 24th 2011, I have started my weight loss program and I have chosen a few dietary products that might help me do so. I know that regular exercise is the key, but still I think I'll need to get a product that will help me control my eating habits.

Here are the products:

Apple Juice Drink with L-Carnitine (Cosway)
HoodiaPro

Why did I choose two? It's because HoodiaPro will help me eat less and the Apple Juice Drink will give me energy and help burn fats faster.

I'm gonna start this now and will surely keep this update for the results and just to make sure if this works (lol). *Cross-fingers*

Moshi moshi all. "I so malas to blog nowadays". So I will just list down a few stuff that's been going on for this past few months just to keep this blog updated.

"Going Back to School" - Yup, no kidding. I am now a 1st semester OUM undergraduate taking Diploma in Early Childhood Education (DECE). I always wanted to be a teacher and teach little children. So after I graduate, I plan to open a daycare to make that one wish come true and to get side income.
"The BEST Kursus so far" - Kursus Pemupukan Budaya Kerja Kelas Pertama Zon Malaysia Timur. Why? It's because I don't have to listen to those long talks and boring group discussions like the previous kursus I attend.
"Our BIRTHDAY!" - My Boo and I celebrated our 28th Birthday at New York Restaurant @ 1Borneo for 3 hours . That's all the time we manage to spend together on our birthday. It was kinda sad really since what I really wanted was to spend the whole day with him. Due to the fact that I can't have the day off of work, plus the hectic schedule and event going on that day (All Souls Day and SMSJ's Charity Dinner).
"Assignments" - LMAO my assignments are killing me. Trus sa ingat si Sheila mengulu sa... " siapa suruh ko sekolah balik?! apa ko rasa sekarang? bagus2 tidak susah2 belajar..."

I can summaries this month of June of mine as a LUCKY month. I had no problems with money (well not really...) cos I've got all my claims approved and "bank-in". It feels like I've received a double/triple pay... lolx.

So what did I do with the money?! Try guess...

1. I had my hair half perm, treated and a cream that will make my hair curly and elastic. All and all it cost be RM230.

2. Paid my Baju Kurung Kedah - RM70

3. Bought a HP charger for - RM15

4. Some "things" from Avon which cost me about RM90

5. 2 brand new shoes - a RM40 Vess shoe and a RM50 Wooden... I dunno wats it called but yeah its a shoe.

6. Idk why but I craved for Japanese food for the whole month and I think I've spend almost RM250. But I don't mind... it is food after all...

7. Since it's the school holiday, I spend time with my niece and nephews at the movies and we watched Night At The Museum 2 and before the school holiday ended we watched Monsters vs Aliens.

8. Treat Alex at KK Box. Karaoke Time~

Finally... I hate to mention this but...here it goes....the shocking news!

The King of Pop - Michael Jackson was reportedly died on Jun 25th 2009 at he age of 50 y.o. after suffering a cardiac arrest. Yes, it was a very very shocking news.

His death had the biggest impact on the world ever caused by an individual. It's a big lost but thank you for giving us joy and inspiration through your music and his music and dance will live on forever no matter what in our hearts. God Bless Your Soul.

- Program Remaja Tanpa Jenayah at Auditorium Putrajaya, Kompleks Pentadbiran Kerajaan Persekutuan, Kota Kinabalu

20th
- I pass my Jabatan exam paper! Hooray!

23th
- Went to Herbaline with my buds. I spend RM326 this time... RM196 for the facial, RM120 for a pimple cream & a sun block (sunscreen lightening cream), RM98 for a Herbaline Carnival Coupon and a RM88 discount.

- Had my hair cut layer and treatment that cost me RM85.

- Went to sent my 'kains' to the tailor and it cost me about RM75 (baju kurung asli with stitches) & RM 30 (for baju kurung asli)

Note: Wow... I honestly think that I spend more than I can afford this time. I believe I should plan what to buy and not to buy so I can spend my money wisely next time since I plan to get a car, a brand new pc and be... debt free by the end of this year.

24th-26th
- Program Hari Bersama Pelanggan at Gaya Street.

Other than the above, I also started to play Destiny Online this month (decided to be a Swordsman) and looking forward to try this new game called Dragonica.

Anugerah Bintang Popular 2008

I've just watched Anugerah Bintang Popular 2008 Berita Harian minutes ago on TV3. All I can say about the show is that everything is clearly predictable (most of the ppl who won the awards were the same ppl who won in previous years...like Rosham Nor, Datuk CT & Mawi... com'n...) and it's very very boring. What's worst is that the performances in the show is pretty average (almost poor) in my rating. It looks like a low budget award show...

In my opinion the only people who deserves their awards are Aznil Haji Nawawi (Best TV Host), Farah Fauzana (Best TV and Radio Host) and Faizal Ismail (Best Radio Host).

Overall compare to the recent AJL, this show sucks!

P.S: I hope the upcoming AIM won't be as bad as this....

Hi everyone.

I know it's been 23 days passed new year but it's never to late to wish everyone and your families A Happy New Year.

I'm busy as usual with work and personal life. Been hoping and planning to make my new year's full of fun, fresh and productive.

So what I've been up to recently?

At work.
- Field Supervising for CSO cases.(CSO unit)
- Assisting BPT cases application. (Skim Penjagaan Bantuan OKU/Pesakit Kronik Terlantar)
- Assisting in taking and making Personal Juv. Character Reports. (LPA)
- Field visit to PDK Penampang, Dewan Sigar & PDK Kota Kinabalu for CSO programs purposes
- and etc.

Outside.
- the same monthly routine - went for Facial (lol)
- went to see SPIRIT the movie with Alex...I think the movie sucks.
- I went to the dentist on the 20th and had my 3 tooth "tampal"ed. Cost me RM 180. Pretty cheap. The dentist suggest that I should get a faults teeth, so I can chew food better. I might consider it...

Online.
- MW's closing so I registered all my chars, kyo's, misery's and dony's to MW2 server Dragon.
- Not into Friendster's or Facebook much...

Home.
- Nothing much but the house does need high maintenance cleaning...
- Watched the 23th AJL on the 18th. Faizal Tahir won Best Vocal, Best Performance and Best Balade, while Farahwahida won the Best Ethnic Kreatif and Meet Uncle Hussien won Best Pop Rock and also named the champion of the 23th AJL. Honestly I love this seasons AJL from the very 1st performance from One Nation MCs to the last performance Jaclyn Victor, M. Nasir, Jamal Abdilah and 3 annonymous talented kids singing Gemilang, Gadis Melayu, Andalusia and Isabella. They we AWESOME and they ROCK!

So thanks all for now. I'll post more later on.

Siti Maziah's Wedding

Another wedding has been held today at Kg. Menkabong, Tuaran and it's Siti Maziah's wedding. She's an old friend of mine and we used to be classmates in SM St John, Tuaran.

As planned Joesia (the driver...lolx), Khairul Jamilah and I departed from Tuaran's famous Soto Shop to the bride's residents at 3pm. When we reached Siti's house, we were greeted by Siti's brother who's name I forgot (I remember that he was my senior back in SM St. John before. Ops..sorry) and there were only a few guest lefted so it was less crowded ~YAY Happy.

This gives the rest of us the opportunity to spend more time taking pictures with the bride and groom, chatting and EATING. Oh I just love the Chicken Curry and I just love the brides dress. It was a mixed of red (my favorite) and ...erm... was that peach? Anyway it was nice, simple and sweet . So we talk about the good old days and we did some "catching up".

I interviewed (la konon) Siti, our bride of the day, asking what she's been up to since we left school, about work and about the groom as well. Now she's working as a teacher (probably part-time) in ...ok let me think... Tawau...I guess or was it in UMS or something... after finishing her degree.

The groom is from Kedah and he works somewhere around Indah Permai or was it Alam Mesra.

OMG...why am I so forgetful...mau senile mungkin sa ni...geez...

Joesia in the other hand... ask " berapa la budget?" Hehehe... as always la. But you know I can't blame her since it's gonna be her turn next. Maklumlah baru bertunang two weeks back (on 8th Nov).

Too bad we missed meeting up with the rest of the gang that came earlier that day.

So before I end todays report (...copying a tv news announcer), again I would like to Congratulate Siti and Mohd Khairy (I hope I got this right... I ambik from the signboard near the road...) and wishing both a happy marriage.

Good Luck on your wedding reception at your in-laws house in Kedah this 13th Dec Siti..you'll need it. Whahahaha.

Hi all.

Last Saturday which was on the 18th October, my friends (Joesia and Khairul Jamilah) and I went to see Khairul Adam's (an old pal and classmate) wedding at his home at Kg. Mengkabong, Tuaran.

I'm glad I came cos it's been a while since I meet everyone especially Khairul Adam and his mother (Cikgu Hamidah...lol I hope I got it right..) who was once my teacher during Secondary School. The last time the rest of us visit his home was like 6 or 7 years ago during a Hari Raya Open House.

So we chat and chat and chat... then the taboo question pops up... "Lala ko bila mo kahwin?" (translation: "Lala when are you getting married?"...

I was like "WTHSTFU..." (swearing)... those words are all in my head tho... I sighed and calmly answered..."Tunggu sa kurus dulu... susah mo cari baju kahwin untuk orang gendut..."

Yes, I said..."Wait until I'm slimmer.... I'm to fat to fit on a wedding dress..." and I added just so everyone will forget about asking more "...plus it's gonna be hard and expensive to rent an XXXL wedding dress...", everyone laughed of course.

So that's what happen recently... and now decided to lose some weight, I know I need to exercise but the 1st thing I need to control is my eating habits. I tend to eat anything I feel like eating. Plus my "kekasih" and I love to eat and experiment food a lot. I don't mind how much the food cost (this depends on my budget..) as long as I can eat whahahahah *evil laugh* \^-^/ Hooray to FOOD...

*Cough cough cough* OK... I need to focus...focus... @_@;

...Back to controlling my eating habit... so I decided to start and try a product a friend introduced to be called Melilea Greenfield Organic today.

Wonder if it works... if it does I'll be sure to post it here in the future.
