God's Blessings

2011-08-09T17:07:00.001-04:00

Today I was reflecting on God's blessings. Even the smallest has a huge impact on my daily routines. From a operating car to a new job obtained today! We tend to forget or look past his mercies that are bestowed upon us every morning. I haven't been grateful enough! I encourage you to just look at your hands, feet, brain power, and the air we all intake & take a couple seconds to THANK HIM!

Sone times we focus on the down falls we have an d the things we are still in need of. But positive that ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD!

Continue to reverence HIM in all that you do!

Be blessed,

Are you GREAT?

2011-06-08T08:44:00.001-04:00

I had someone ask me what was holding me back from GREATNESS? I have to be honest... This question shook me! I didn't have an answer. My only logical solution was ME! Beyond the many excuses I've created in my head, and the length of time that I've wasted; it has been ME that has hindered myself.

I then started to think on the differences of good vs. great. I'm very good at many things, but why stop at merely good?

So my question to you today is:

ARE YOU GREAT?

Yield Sign

2010-12-14T16:59:00.000-05:00

So through my life, I have been on different roads, trails, and sometimes it has felt like highways. Time has been flying. But I feel now that I have approached a YIELD SIGN. I'm not too sure where God is leading me or what avenue to take. I know that I need to keep moving but I have slowed down to focus of which way to turn. I am waiting to hear from God to direct me. How long will I be at this sign? Ummmm I'm not sure. I just know that by running through and taking time to hear from Him could lead to an ultimate failure. Keep me in prayer in terms of career goals and my personal life. I want to complete His Will for my life. I have the FAITH to see what's not there just yet.

Today, I choose to believe that God is doing something I can't do, He sees something I can't see, and He's up to something I can't detect yet.

Grand Rapids ArtPrize

2010-09-28T20:28:00.000-04:00

My youngest sister Charmaine & I went to the Grand Rapids ArtPrize this past Sunday. I didn't know what to expect, but when we arrived I was so intrigued to see that Grand Rapids is a very nice city! It's a nice size city with lots of thriving businesses. If I decided to stay in Michigan, I would move to a loft downtown Grand Rapids. LOL Here are some of the pictures we took while we were there:

I'm 25!

2010-09-28T20:14:00.000-04:00

I want to thank GOD for allowing me to make it this far! I never imagined me at this age... But I'm grateful that I'm here!!

Faith That Conquers

2010-09-23T10:14:00.000-04:00

I have the faith to see the invisible,

expect the incredible,

receive the impossible;

oh faith that can conquer any, anything.

Faith that obtrudes my problems,

oh faith to know that God can solve it.

Faith to vision my freedom,

I have faith that can conquer anything.

Faith to reach the unreachable,

faith to fight the unbeatable,

faith to remove the unmoveable,

faith that stands the invincible,

faith that can conquer

So that's what you think...

2010-08-27T14:22:00.000-04:00

So many people judge me because of what they think or what other's may have said. Makes me wonder...
These people are going to think whatever they want regardless of what I say or do.

I'm not black because:

- I'm not dark enough
- My hair isn't the same texture
- I have green eyes
- I don't have the bullet wounds to qualify me

Why are people so quick to jump to their own conclusions without even an attempt to know the real me.

Disappear

2010-08-27T13:32:00.000-04:00

Why is it that I'm the dependable person?

When all the while, I need to depend on you. But now your no where to be found. It's funny because I wiped your tears, but now my eyes won't dry.

Should I just disappear...
