The result is one of the most exclusive cars of our time; one that presents a perfect symbiosis between extravagant design and driving performance and capability at sports car level. <span id="more-162"></span></p>
<p>For the Gallardo LP 560-4 the German Lamborghini specialists have once more taken the speedy Italian car and created a masterpiece on wheels in accordance with the IMSA company philosophy. For the Gallardo LP 560-4 the IMSA engineers had to take the special chassis from the GTV‘s well known predecessor and completely reconstruct it. </p>
<p>Thus the chassis modifications now include a front skirt, widened wheel housing for front and rear, sideskirts, a rear skirt as well as special rear spoiler that ensures greater output. All the parts are made of high quality carbon fibre which normally can only be found in professional motor sports or in air travel and which despite its low weight has a convincing stability. Because of its superb technical specifications the IMSA GTV is capable of combing sportiness with an exclusive appearance at the highest level. The same can, of course, also be said for the already internationally established lightweight central locking wheel, IMSA Challenge, which is mounted on the front axle with dimensions of 9J x 20 (with 245/30 ZR20 sized tires) and on the rear axle with dimensions of 12,5J x 20 (with 325/25 ZR20 sized tires). </p>
<p>The IMSA exclusive wheel is not only visually an eye-opener but it also convinces the ambitious driver with its technical characteristics – especially when combined with the very complex traction and compression phase as well as with its height adjustable IMSA sports suspension. The highly polished IMSA stainless steel sports exhaust system can naturally not be left out of this Gourmet menu. </p>
<p>The optical delicacy on the rear of the LP 560 spoils the driver with a really deafening V10 symphony and increases its performance to a sensational 590 PS at 9000U/min thanks to the perfected exhaust gas routing and the connected back pressure reduction. The maximum torque is increased to 560 Nm at 6000 U/min.</p>
<p>As the IMSA GTV is a complete vehicle concept based on the Gallardo LP560-6 the IMSA specialists have also devoted themselves with their usual perfection to the interior of the vehicle. So the first things to strike the eye when opening the passenger door are the exclusive IMSA bucket seats made of carbon, which fi t the driver and co-driver like a sitting tailored suit. As the IMSA team traditionally consider the use of high quality materials for its newest super sports car creation to be very important,carbon is naturally used all over for elements in the cockpit. The complete multi-element IMSA carbon interior is very convincing. The whole IMSA GTV including the IMSA sports driving wheel is finished off with IMSA leather and/or Alcantara interior in GTV design. </p>

<p>Deutsche decided to target Lamborghini customers that seek something a little more exclusive from an automobile that spells passion even in its original state. Thanks to Deutsche‘s Reventino Kit, Gallardo owners are now able to give their dream car a Jet-like look, similar to the much-hyped Reventon that was recently shown by Lamborghini on the IAA 2009.</p>
<p>The most significant difference is the newly designed front face that not only is much more aggressive due to it‘s individual spiky design but also minimizes the propulsion at the front axle. Additionally, the package is crowned with plenty of additional Carbon-Fibre parts that leave no room for disappointment: A stunning rear -diffusor &#038; -spoiler that ensure perfect correction of drift, combined side-skirts &#038; side-diffusors to give best roadholding, a breath-taking engine cover, airintakes and a lot more, showcasing Deutsche&#8217;s love to the material.</p>
<p>Performancewise, Deutsche‘s engineers were able to get 30 more horse powers out of the Gallardo. A step on the gas will now let you feel an additional 20NM of torque resulting in 381KW of performance, approximately 5% increase to the regular version. Marius Kottas, Head of Deutsche&#8217;s Marketing Department says: &#8220;The combination of luxury carbon-fiber parts with the newly designed Reventino look create a match made in heaven that will indulge existing Gallardinos as well as potential new owners. The kit will fit on both Gallardo versions, the old and the new ones.&#8221;</p>

The Lamborghini comes in combination with a changed underbody (ground effect) to an unbelievable final velocity. <span id="more-144"></span></p>
<p>Not until the sports car has reached 370 km/h the air drag decelerates it. Gears are changed using a F1 steering wheel rocker switch.</p>
<p>No question, with the upgraded LP 640 JB-R JB Car Design has raised the bar for competition in the section super sports cars again a lot: with his increased performance up to 710 respectively 750 hp and his VIP-finishing in &#8220;Blood to Black Diamond&#8221; he not just delivers again a clear growth in output but an individual visual appearance as well. The patent registered finish is only available through JB Car Design. It costs (ready to be sprayed on) 280,00 Euro per litre and is limited to 911 litre worldwide, whereby the exclusivity is guaranteed.</p>
<p>The sharpened version of the LP 640 JB-R is as close to racing as no other car with MOT approval. But luxury is also to be found, as for example in the interior. The whole interior was colour adjusted to the exterior by using high quality materials in combination with dark red Ultrasuede and black smooth leather in bi-colour as well as little extras made of carbon fibre. In addition very decent and in black: tinted windshield, back and side windows (2.370,00 Euro including the approval of the Technical control board).</p>
<p>After having made over the interior it is now turn of the wheelset. New three part 20&#8243; Schmidt Revolution aluminium rims with hardened outer rim made of stainless steel in combination with Michelin wide base tires size 265/30-20 and 335/30-20.</p>
<p>As impressive as the sprint on the long straight stretch might be, most fun with the LP 640 JB- R you have in the curves. This is the reason why JB Car Design has intensified the abrasion by using their own aerodynamic-package consisting of front- and rear spoiler, rear diffusor, air intake in the front, side coverings, side skirts, the front opening hood as well as the engine hood. They have newly adjusted the running gear and tuned the super athlete thus he practically sticks to the street.</p>
<p>The built in, premium flap controlled sport exhaust systems offers the best sound at the push of a button. With the provided remote control the customer can change the sound of the exhaust pipe while driving.</p>
<p>The demonstration car is available for a price of 355.000,00 Euro ( YOC 2008, 9.000 km). The original price incl. the costs of the conversion is 500.000,00 Euro!</p>

<p>The two bumpers can easily be distinguished from one another, mainly at the nose.  Premier4509&#8217;s nose is squared off at the front, while the Lamborghini-produced bumper for the LP670 is cleaner and rounder.  Both have a carbon fiber spoiler, but the tuner-version appears to stick out a bit further.  The original front fascia on the LP640 includes a body colored front spoiler and panel separating the two intakes.</p>
<p>The LP640 SV bumper can also be made to attach cleanly to the Murcielago.  Premier4509 is still working on a rear bumper, which will be sold with the front bumper as a set.  Only 300 units of the two parts will be produced.</p>
<p>Premier4509 has offices in California, in addition to their Tskuba, Japan, headquarters.  The company has also designed packages for Aston Martin, Bentley, and Ferrari vehicles, in addition to the Gallardo and Murcielago.</p>

<p>The REITER Murciélago Strada is designed in the style of its aggressive looking brother the race REITER Murciélago R-GT, which is a reason why the REITER Murciélago Strada is still one of the fastest 15 cars to lap the Hockenheimring. In the process of this benchmark test staged by the specialist magazine &#8220;sport auto&#8221; it also leaves current Lamborghini brand models, such as the LP560-4 or Superleggera, in its wake. The Strada derivatives will also benefit from the current development work on the REITER Gallardo GT3 Evo-kit.</p>
<p>The undoubted spectacular appearance of the REITER Murciélago Strada is more than emphasized by the sound of our exhaust system.</p>
<p>Front splitter, rear diffusor and an aluminum flat bottom collectively form the refined aerodynamic configuration. The application of original Alcantara leather in the cockpit for the in-house designed sports bucket seats lends the car more than a touch of sporting elegance. <p>The REITER Murciélago Strada is designed in the style of its aggressive looking brother the race REITER Murciélago R-GT. Large quantities of carbon-fiber are also used on this model. The front splitter, rear diffusor and rear wing are manufactured specially from this precious material. The application of original Alcantara leather in the cockpit for the in-house designed sports bucket seats lends the car more than a touch of sporting elegance.</p>

<p>The race proven suspension, for which a special set-up was developed during the course of a lengthy and extensive test program by our professional race drivers and engineers, improves the handling. This, combined with the racing brake-system and REITER light-alloy wheel rims, ensures that the entire package provides the greatest driving pleasure.</p>
<p>It is not only the wheel rims that originate from the REITER Murciélago R-GT race car, but also an optional roll-cage with Alcantara &#8220;soft-sleeve&#8221; covering, or a state-of-the-art light-weight carbon covered fire extinguisher system can also be installed.</p>

<p>The latest version of the Gallardo, Lamborghini’s most successful model of all time - overall, more than 9,000 units of the model range have already been produced - boasts not only its own distinctive design and exclusive equipment, but its technology is unique too, as indicated by the model badge: the 550 stands for the power output in hp and the 2 is for rear wheel drive.</p>
<p>For several decades, Valentino Balboni has had a distinct influence on the character of the super sports car bearing the sign of the bull. With his fine-tuning and testing work, he has helped to shape many automotive legends, from the Lamborghini Miura of the 60s through to the current Gallardo and Murciélago models. Balboni was hired in 1967 by company founder Ferruccio Lamborghini himself. From early on, it was evident that the young Balboni had a special feel for cars, that most sensitive of all instincts that connects to the ‘life blood’ of an automobile and defines the soul of a test driver.</p>
<p>“A Lamborghini must always combine the precision of a race car with the reliability of a good friend,” says Balboni. Since 1973, he has sat at the wheel of every prototype built by the brand, and even most production cars have passed through his hands before being delivered to their customers. This has turned Balboni into one of the most important representatives of the brand, with an outstanding reputation and status among the brand’s fans and customers worldwide.</p>
<p>Limited to 250 units</p>
<p>After over 40 years with Lamborghini, Balboni is now officially retired. Yet, Valentino Balboni continues to travel to many countries around the world as an ambassador of the brand.</p>
<p>The special exclusivity of the Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni is guaranteed – it is limited to 250 units.</p>
<p>Light-footed yet extremely safe</p>
<p>With this latest version of the Gallardo, Lamborghini is honouring its long-standing test driver in a very special way. The LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni was conceived in line with his own thinking, and it meets many customers’ requests for a model with a unique character, which offers a very special kind of active driving fun. The Balboni model is the only current Lamborghini that delivers its power to the road via its rear wheels alone.</p>
<p>Rear wheel drive has a special appeal to those sports car drivers who enjoy a particular driving style. Thanks to the eminently powerful V10 driveline, controlled oversteer is no problem – naturally always to the extent defined by the driver - because refined road manners and perfectly tuned assistance systems mean that the Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni is an exceptionally safe sports car to drive.</p>
<p>Driving fun with unique character</p>
<p>In order to shape this unique character that combines driving fun and safety, the engineers at Sant’Agata Bolognese have incorporated extensive modifications into the LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni. It was not simply a question of moving the transmission to the rear axle, the vehicle had to be adjusted and tuned in every element of its driving dynamics. This includes springs, dampers, stabilisers and even the tyres. The aerodynamics were also adjusted to take account of the change to the power flow.</p>
<p>The rear axle differential, with a 45 percent limited slip, was also redeveloped, as was the calibration of the e-gear transmission. One significant point was the adjustments made to the ESP system. While the standard program is focused on high stability, the CORSA program permits greater drift angles, thus enabling drivers to enjoy the dynamics of the LP 550-2 to their full extent.</p>
<p>Outstanding performance is guaranteed</p>
<p>Adjustments have also been made to the very heart of the Gallardo, the 5.2 litre ten-cylinder: the perfect synthesis of hi-revving pleasure, pulling power, a constantly exuberant temperament and a powerful symphony played in all keys. In the Valentino Balboni, the compact and lightweight power unit generates 405 kW (550 hp). At a dry weight of only 1,380 kilograms, this guarantees outstanding performance: the LP 550-2 is catapulted from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62mph) in a breathtaking 3.9 seconds, while the top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph) guarantees its place among the ultimate in super sports cars.</p>
<p>Powerful elegance in its distinctive design</p>
<p>The Valentino Balboni is not only unique in terms of its technology: its design and equipment reinforce its exclusivity. Its classic sporting character is emphasised by a colour strip in white and gold running from the front panel over the roof and parts of the engine cover all the way to the rear spoiler, with inspiration from the classic sports cars from the ‘70s. This colour treatment underscores the powerful elegance of the Gallardo and emphasises the unique Lamborghini design DNA. The Special Edition is available in eight colours, from Bianco Monocerus through to Verde Ithaca, or Arancio Borealis to Nero Noctis. The Scorpius wheels retain their dark grey finish, while the brake callipers come in black, orange or yellow, depending on the exterior paint finish.</p>
<p>Classic sporting look for the interior, too</p>
<p>The characteristic colour combination is repeated in the interior. The basic colour of the full leather upholstery is black. Both seats, however, feature the colour strip in white. The centre console is completely upholstered in Polar white leather to create a powerful accent. A badge below the left side window bears the signature of Valentino Balboni and the production number of the car.</p>
<p>The exclusivity of the Valentino Balboni is augmented further by its extensive equipment. Alongside several new leather features in the interior, there is also the transparent engine cover, the rear view camera, the navigation system with Bluetooth and the lifting system for the front axle that makes it easier to drive over obstacles. In addition to the extensive standard equipment, a list of further options is available including e-gear transmission and carbon ceramic brakes.</p>

<p>“Targa Trophy captures the characteristics of yesteryear’s motorsport events with a fresh twist,” explains Jason Overell, owner of Overell, Inc. and founder of the third annual road rally. “This is an unparalleled automotive driving exhibition, infused with excitement, and boasting an extremely impressive spectacle of exotic and specialty sports cars.” </p>
<p>Targa Trophy caters to the West Coast’s sports car aficionados, supplying them with a unique platform to celebrate and exhibit their passion for supreme driving machines.  Each event is comprised of 300 miles of adrenaline-pumping rally competition with 100 cars driving in and out of luxury destinations, creating an unparalleled luxury automotive experience for thousands of awe-inspired spectators. A strategic point system challenges the skill of both drivers and navigators to hit a series of check-points in predetermined times. Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bugattis, Porsches and more will maneuver the course in each leg of the series with the promise of a visually stimulating experience. </p>
<p>Following the success of the 2008 production that took Beverly Hills, Santa Barbara and West Hollywood by storm, the 2009 series will commence on May 30 in Orange County. Drivers will take off from renowned shopping destination, South Coast Plaza, enjoy a scenic route to Imago Gallery in Palm Springs and, finally, cruise through the finish line in front of a waiting crowd back at South Coast Plaza. </p>
<p>The ralliers travel to San Diego on June 27 where the start and finish festivities will take place at the W San Diego. Drivers will spend their day riding from San Diego to a mid-day check point at Harrah’s Rincon Casino and back to an after party at the W Hotel. </p>
<p>September 19 will be the grand finale for Targa Trophy 2009. Entrants will be sent off from Fred Segal and travel to Big Bear Mountain for a beautiful scenic drive. The highly-anticipated culmination of the series will be held at an undisclosed location in Los Angeles. </p>
