My Daughter in laws Sister was a lively, fit adult. No history of any serious family illnesses.

She'd spent a lovely day on the beach with the family. Went home and went to bed as usual, fit and heathy.
Her telephone was ringing and ringing. Her Mother wondered why she wasn't answering and went in to wake her.

Natalie was dead. 23yrs old.

The post mortem showed nothing of any real concerns, which means if she was alive and went to the Doctors for a routine health check, they would have declared her fit and well.

The whole family was throughly tested for " anything " and my Daughter in law was found to have Long QT syndrome and had a pacemaker and defibrillator fitted when she was 14.

This is what must have killed Natalie they now feel.

Sudden adult death syndrome is as common as cot death in babies yet recieves virtually no media coverage.

A question Concerning Healh care.

This is for those of you in the UK. If I got it right you have had government controled Health Care for a while.
As you know we in the US have had a bill passed in our House of Representatives, and now it goes before our Senate, which I pray is rejected. Seeing as we can't get any real info from our government, I just wonder if anyone would comment on how your health care system works over there?
I'am just asking for my own info, I'm talking mainly about the different services. I'm not trying to be nosy just trying to get something to compare to.
I know as I live close to the Canadian Border allot of Canadians come over here for treatment because allot of Canadians say there program is poor,as in getting quality service and the waiting periods they go through.

The Khazars were a semi-nomadic Turkic people who dominated the Pontic steppe and the North Caucasus from the 7th to the 10th century CE. The name 'Khazar' seems to be tied to a Turkic verb form meaning "wandering".
