The Land Trust has launched a campaign to protect 10,000 acres of land by the end of 2012. We expect to raise $34 million from foundations, government grants, and our nonprofit partners for this effort – and $13.5 million from local supporters. We have already raised $11 million from people in our community towards this effort – and have just $2.5 million to go. Your donation will be matched $17 to $1 by the other gifts – and you can protect an acre for $250.
