We use so much energy trying to keep others from seeing the whole truth about us! But on Palm Sunday, Jesus faces the truth (Mark 11:1-11 and Isaiah 50:4-9), and does it for us. Truth is, in God’s eyes, you are worthy.

Some questions to consider:

What would your world be like if you believed that, to God, you are worthwhile?

Is there any area of your life in which you are spending lots of energy protecting yourself from humiliation? What if you didn’t have to do that? What if you accepted the truth that you are worthy of relationship with God?

So you are not perfect. And Jesus still finds you worthwhile. Does that give you some freedom to be more honest with someone else in your life? A friend, co-worker, spouse, family-member? Who? What do you want to share with them? When will you share it?

Finally, who else around you (there are so many of us!) needs convincing that they are of significant worth to Jesus? Who is this person? Jesus entered Jerusalem for us. How can you enter this person’s life? Not with mere words, but with the presence of Jesus?

May God give all of us the grace to live with the love of Christ.
