රාජ් රාජරත්නම් තුලින් මතුවන බටහිර අර්ථ ක්‍රමයේ හෙළුව

බටහිටයන් විසින් ඇතිකරන ලද කොල්ලකාරී ආර්ථිකය තුල සමාජයේ ප්‍රමුකත්වය ලබා දී ඇත්තේ මුදලටමය. එම නිසා මුදල් පසුපස හබා යාමට මිනිසුන්ව පොළබවා ඇත. අද අප රට තුල වපුරවා ඇති ජනප්‍රිය මිත්‍යාවක් වනුයේ ධනවාදී ආර්ථික ක්‍රමය පෙරදිග සමාජය තුල පැවති සහජීවනකාමි ආර්ථික යාන්ත්‍රණයට වඩා ඵලදායී සහ ක්‍රියාශීලි එකක් බවය්. නමුත් අද එලිවෙමින් පවතින යථාර්තය වනුයේ මෙම කොල්ලකාරී ආර්ථිකය තුල ඉහලට මතුවී වැජබුණු බොහෝ ධනවතුන් සමාජ ප්‍රගමනයට ඉවහල්වූ නිෂ්පාදන ක්‍රියාවලියට දායක වුවන් නොව ආර්ථික ක්‍රියාවලිය තුල සැබෑම දූෂිතයන් සහ පරපෝෂිතයන් බවයි.

2009 වසරේදී ඇමෙරිකාවේ වඩාත් ධනවත් පුද්ගලයන් අතර 23 වන ස්ථානයේ සිටි රාජ් රාජරත්නම්, දෙමල ඩයස්පෝරාවේ මූල්‍යමය ප්‍රතිරූපය විය. ඇතැමුන් වහසිබස් දෙඩුවේ මෙවැනි සාර්ථක ව්‍යාපාරිකයන් සිංහල බෞද්ධ සමාජයෙන් බිහි නොවන්නේ ඇයි දැයි අසමිනි!අත්අඩංගුවට පත්වන අවස්ථාව වන විට ඔහු ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ප්‍රමුකතම (blue chip) පුද්ගලික අංශ ව්‍යාපාරික ආයතනයේ විශාලම කොටස් හිමියාද විය. ඔහු කොටි ත්‍රස්තවාදීන්ට ප්‍රසිද්දියේ ආධාර එකතු කල බව සහ ලබා දුන් බව නොරහසකි. දෙමල පුනුරුත්තාපන ආයතනය (TRO ) යනුවෙන් අටවා තිබු කොටි ත්‍රස්තයන්ගේ මූල්‍යමය ජලයට ඔහු ඩොලර් මිලියන 3.5 ලබා දී තිබුණු අතර ඇමෙරිකානු ආණ්ඩුව විසින් මෙම මුදල් පසුව රාජ සන්තක කරන ලදී.

කොටස් වෙළදපල ආයෝජනය යනු ධනවාදී අර්ථ ක්‍රමය හදුන්වාදුන් සූදු කෙලීමේ ක්‍රියාවලියකි. වෙනසකට ඇත්තේ මෙතුල ගනුදෙනු සිදුවනුයේ කිසියම් නීති රීති මාලාවකට යටත්ව වීමයි. රාජ් රාජරත්නම් හට දඩුවම් නියම වුයේ මෙසේ සූදු කෙලි නිසා නොව නීතියට පිටින් ව්‍යාපාරික සමාගම් වල ඉදිරිවසරවල ලාබ අලාබ තත්වයන් පිළිබද එම ව්‍යාපාරික සමාගම්වල ඇතුලත සිටින තැරැව් කරුවන් මාර්ගයෙන් දක්ත ලබාගෙන, ඒ මත තම කොටස් මිලදී ගැනීමේ සූදුව හැසිරුවේය යන චෝදනාවටය. සරලව කියන්නේනම් අනුන්ගේ අත්වල ඇති කාඩ් කුට්ටමේ කොළ හොරෙන් දැනගෙන හොරට සූදු කෙලීමේ වරදට හසු වීමෙනි.

කොල්ලකාරී ධනවාදී අර්ථ ක්‍රමය තුල ඇති ප්‍රදාන දුර්වල තාවයක් නම් නිෂ්පාදන ක්‍රියාවලිය තුල නිර්මාණශීලි සහ දක්ෂ ව්‍යවසායකයන් බිහිවන වේගයට වඩා වැඩි වේගයකින් සූදුවේ කෙල පැමිණි, ණීති විරෝදී මාර්ගයෙන් ඉක්මනට පොහොසත් වීමට කැමැත්තක් දක්වන කූට ව්‍යාපාරිකයන් ට වැඩි ඉඩ ප්‍රස්ථාවක් ඇතිවීමය. පුද්ගලික මූල්‍යමය සංචිත (Hedge fund) මාර්ගයෙන් කොටස් වෙළදපොළ කෙටිකාලීන ආයෝජන කර ප්‍රකෝටිපතියන් බිහිවනුයේ මෙම ආර්ථික සූදු කෙලියේ ප්‍රතිඵලයක් ලෙසිනි. මෙම ක්‍රියාවලිය පවතින රටක නිෂ්පාදනය වැඩිවීමක් හෝ සේවාවන්ගේ ගුණාත්මක වර්ධනයක් සිදු නොවී අවසානයේ කඩාවැටීමට ලක් වේ.

අද බටහිර යුරෝපය ණය බර මත කඩා වැටෙමින් පවතින්නේද, ඇමෙරිකාව නැවත ගොඩ ආ නොහැකි ආර්ථිකව අවපාතයකට හසුවී තම ආර්ථික මර්මස්ථානයන් විරෝදතා කරුවන්ගේ ග්‍රහණයට හසුවෙමින් පවතින්නේද මෙම යථාර්තය පසක් කරමිනි. පසුගිව වකවානුවේ ලන්ඩන් නුවර ආශ්‍රිතව පැතිර ගිය වීථි මංකොල්ලකෑම් වල යෙදෙන්නන්ගේ ප්‍රධාන සටන් පාටයක් වුයේ සුළුතරයක් වූ ධනවත් සමාගම් තමන්ව 365 දිනම කොල්ල කන බවත්, එබැවින් ඔවුන්ගේ දේපොළ කොල්ල කෑමට වඩා වඩාත් දුප්පතුන් වන තමන්ට අය්තියක් ඇති බවයි.

අද ධනවාදී රටවල් පවා තම ආර්ථික යාන්ත්‍රනය ප්‍රසිද්දියේ ප්‍රශ්ණ කිරීමට පමණක් නොව වැරදි කරුවන් හබා ගොස් දඩුවම්කිරීමට පවා පෙළබි ඇත්තේ තමන් වැටී සිටින නරා වලෙන් ගොඩ ඒමට වෙනත් මගක් පෙනෙන මානයක නැති බැවිනි. රාජ් රාජරත්නම් නමැති ශ්‍රී ලාංකික සම්බවයක් සහිත ඇමෙරිකාවේ පදිංචිව සිටි කෝටිපති ව්‍යාපාරිකයාට දස වසරක සිරදඩුවම් සහ ඩොලර් මිලියන දහයක අති විශාල දඩයක් නියමවන්නේද මෙම ක්‍රියාවලියේ එක් ප්‍රතිපලයක් වශයෙනි.

ත්‍රස්තවාදය පිටුපස ජාවාරම් කාර ව්‍යාපාරිකයන් නිරතුරුවම සිටි. ඔවුන් එකිනෙකා මත ගහට පොත්ත සේ බැදී ප්‍රතිපොෂණය වේ. ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේදී ප්‍රධාන කොටි ත්‍රස්තයා වූ ප්‍රභාකරන් 2009 මැයි 18 දින මරා දමා, මාස කිහිපයක් ඇතුලත රාජ් රාජරත්නම් ඇමෙරිකානු රහස් පරීක්ෂක ඒකකය විසින් අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීම හුදු අහම්බයක් නොවේ. කූට ව්‍යාපාරිකයන් රට තුල සූදු කෙලිද්දී බොහෝ විට ඇස් කන් වසාගෙන සිටින ඇමෙරිකානු ආණ්ඩුව ලෝක මට්ටමින් එවැනිම දේසපාලනික සූදුවක යෙදී සිටි. ප්‍රබාකරන් නැමති ත්‍රස්තවාදියා නැති දෙමල ඩයස්පෝරාව අන්තර්ජාතික දේශපාලනයේ නොවැදගත් සාදකයක් වනු දුටු ඇමෙරිකානු ආණ්ඩුව,රාජ් රාජරත්නම් නම් තව දුරටත් දේශපාලනිකව නොවැදගත් ඉත්තා ඇමෙරිකානු ව්‍යාපාරික දාම් ලෑල්ලෙන් කපා දමනු ලැබුවේය.

අපි ආදරය කරන ආණ්ඩුව කොයිබටද?

බුදු පියාණන වහන්සේ පවා වරක් වදාල සම්බුද්ද සාසනය විනාස කරන්නේ පිටස්තරයන් නොව ශාසණය තුල සිටින්නන්මය කියා. අද මහින්ද රාජපක්ස ආණ්ඩුවටද සිදුවෙමින් පවතින්නේ එයමය. එක අතකින් යුද්දයේ අවසාන භාගයේ ජනපති තුමාගේ දෑත් ශක්තිමත් කරන්නට යයි පවසමින් පැමිණි දුමින්ද සිල්වා වැනි මැර කුඩු මුදලාලිලා තම සුපුරුදු ජන්ම ගති පෙන්වමින් ජඩ ඝාතන සංස්කෘතිය ප්‍රසිද්දියේ එළිදක්වමින් සිටින්නේ දීර්ගකාලීනව ප්‍රගතිශීලි පිල සමග සිටි භාරත ලක්ෂ්මන් වැනි දෙසපාලකයන්ව අමු අමුවේ මරා දමමිනි.

මෙම මැර දේසපාලුවා පිටුපස පසුගිය සමයේ වැඩිපුරම ගැවසුණේ නාමල් රාජපක්ස බව අප කාටත් රහසක් නොවේ. අනිත් අතට ඝාතනයට දිනකට පෙර මෙම කුඩු මුදලාලි සමග කොලොන්නාව ආසනයේ ඔහුගේ ආධාර කරුවන්ගේ ජය තහවරු කෙරීමට සංචාරයට ආරක්ෂක ලේකම් ඝෝටාභය රාජපක්ෂ එකතුවී සිටිනු අපි දුටුවෙමු. පාතාල කල්ලි මර්දනය කරන බවටත්, කුඩු මුලිනුපුටා දමන බවටත් වහසි බස් දොඩන ආරක්ෂක ලේකම්තුමා ලොකුම පාතාල කල්ලි ආරක්ෂකයා සහ කොලබට කුඩු බෙදාහරින ජාලයේ ප්‍රමුකයා වන දුමින්ද සිල්වා සහ ඔහුගේ පාතාල මැරයන් පිරිවරා ගෙන කොලොන්නාවේ සැරිසැරීම තරම් තවත් විහිළුවක් කොය්න්ද?

මේ අතර කැලණියේ මර්වින් සිල්වා නම් වූ පිස්සු බල්ලා බැද දැමීමට රාජපක්ස ආණ්ඩුව තවමත් සමත් වී නැත. ඔහු ප්‍රසිද්දියේ ජනතාවට පහර දෙනවිට මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ බුදිය. මෙම හැසීරීමට හේතුවක් තිබිය යුතුය. නැතිනම අප ජනතාව වසයෙන් හේතුවක් හොයාගත යුතුය. මේවා තව දුරටත් වීමට ඉඩ දී ඇස කන් පියාගෙන නිවටයන් සේ සිටිය යුතුද? මර්වින් යනු මහින්දගේ ගමේ මිනිසෙකි. මහින්ද මර්වින්ට මෙතරම් බය ඇයි? මර්වින්ට ඇත්තේ ද කකුස්සි කටකි. ඇතැම් විට මහින්ද තරුණ කාලේ කල නොපනත් කම් මර්වින් දන්නවා වියහැක. ඉතින් මර්වින් මොනවා කරත් මහින්ද ගොළුවකු බීරෙකු ලෙස සිටිනවා හැර කුමක් කරන්නද? එය මෙසේ නොවේනම් මහින්ද දැන් මර්වින්ට විරුද්දව ක්‍රියා කලයුතුය. නැතිනම් අප සිතනා දෙය සත්‍යක් බව අප තහවරු කරගන්නෙමු.

අනෙක් අතට නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ නම් පැගිරි කොල්ලෙකු දේශපාලනයේ මුදුනට නැංවීමට මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මහතාට ඇත්තේ තදියමකි. නාමල් යනු කොලබ ශාන්ත තෝමස් විදුහලේ ඉගෙනුම ලැබූ පල්ලියේ ආභාෂයෙන් එම සංස්කෘතියට වැඩුණු නාස්තියට බර පුත්‍රයෙකි. ආණ්ඩුවේ බොරු ශෝබන සහ නාස්තිකාර වියදම් වලට මුල නාමල් රාජපක්ෂ මිස වෙන කිසිවකු නොවේ. මෝටර් රථ දාවන තරග වල සිට වෙරළ ක්‍රීඩා සහ පොදු රාජ්‍ය මණ්ඩලීය ක්‍රීඩා ආදිය දක්වා සියලු නාස්තිකාර වියදම් එක පුද්ගලයකුගේ මනදොල සැපිරීමටය. නාමල් රාජපක්ෂගේ කුළුපග දේසපාලන සගයන් පැරණි ශ්‍රී ලංකා නිදහස් පාක්ෂිකයන් නොව දුමින්ද සිල්වා, ජොන්ස්ටන් වැනි හොද UNP කාරයන්ය. එහෙමත් නැතිනම් සනත් ජයසූරිය වැනි ජනතාව සමග දේශපාලනය නොකරන දේසපාලන පැරෂුට් බටයන්ය.

මෙම ආණ්ඩුව ඇතුලත සිටම ලනුදෙන නිලදාරීන් ද ආණ්ඩුව විනාශකරමින් සිටි. මේ රටේ හමුදාව සහ සේනාධි නායකයා වන මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමාව අන්තර් ජාතික අධිකරණයේ දැන් ගෙඩියට ගෙනයාමට බ්‍රිතාන්‍ය ඇතුළු බටහිර අදිරාජ්‍ය වාදීන් කැසකවද්දී, යටත් විජිතවාදයේ මහා සැමරුම වන පොදු රාජ්‍ය මණ්ඩල සැමරුම හම්බන්තොට පැවැත්වීමට මහජන මුදල් බිලියන ගණනින් කිරීමට ආණ්ඩුවට උපදෙස් සපයන්නෝ කවරහුද? අදිරාජ්‍යවාදයේ මහ සැමරුම හම්බන්තොට පවත්වා බ්‍රිතාන්‍ය රැජින ද ගෙන්වාගෙන මහින්ද රාජපක්ස මහතා පවසන කතාවට සවන් දීමට අපි දෑස් දල්වා විස්මයෙන් බල සිටින්නෙමු.

මෙම ආණ්ඩුව තවමත් හරිමගට ගත හැකියය් අපි සිතන්නෙමු. පරගැති විපක්ෂය යනු මෙයට විකල්පයක් නොවේ. මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමා සමග ප්‍රගතිශීලී මාවතේ තවදුරටත් ඉදිරියට යා නොහැකිනම් ඔහුට වඩා ප්‍රගතිශීලි සහ දේශප්‍රේමී නායකයකු බිහිකර ගැනීමේ අබියෝගයට අප සූදානම් විය යුතුය.

කොලඹ ඡන්දය – නිදහස් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ තීරණාත්මක දේශපාලනික සටන

කොලඔ ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ප්‍රධාන නගරය වුයේ ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයන්ගේ ඓතිහාසික අවශ්‍යතාවයක් නිසා නොව හුදුභූගොලිය වශයෙන් බටහිරට මුහුණලා පිහිටි බැවිනි. වාරි කෘෂිකර්මාන්තයට හුරු ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයාට කොලඔ වැනි වගුර සහිත බිමක ජනාවාස ඇති කරගැනීමේ ස්වභාවික අවශ්‍යතාවක් කොහෙත්ම නොතිබුණි. එබැවින් බටහිර ආක්‍රමණ ඇතිවන තෙක් කොලඔ ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ජන ශූන්‍යම ප්‍රදේශයක් විය.

පෘතුගීසීන්ගේ සිට ඉංග්‍රීසීන් දක්වා වූ යටත් විජිත ආක්‍රමණිකයන් බටහිටින් පැමිණි ජාතීන් විය. බටහිර වෙරළ ආශ්‍රිත කොලඔ අගනගරය ලෙස තොර ගැනුනේ ඔවුන්ගේ ආරක්ෂාව සහ ගමන් පහසුව නිසාම විය. 1948 දී ඍජු සම්පත් කොල්ලය අවසන් වූ පසු, ක්‍රමානුකුලව බිහිකරගන්න ලද මානසික දාසයන් වූ ස්වදේසික කොම්ප්‍රදෝරුවන්ට තමන් අත වූ පාලනය බාර දී බටහිරයන් ඉවත්ව යන ලදී. පාලන බලය ලබාගත් බටහිර මත යැපුණු කළු සුද්දන් දිගටම කොලඔ අගනගරය ලෙස පවත්වා ගන්න ලදී.

අදත් කොලඔ දේශපාලන බලය බටහිරට ගැති පක්ෂ වලට වැඩි බරක් දරන්නේ මෙම ඓතිහාසික බලපෑම හේතුවෙනි. යටත් විජිතවාදීන් කොලඔ යටත් කරගත් කල සබැ දේශහිතෛශී ස්වදෙශිකයන් හතුරා සමග සටන් කිරීමේ බලාපොරොත්තුවෙන් වෙනත් ප්‍රදේශ වලට සංක්‍රමණය වූ කල, සතුරා සමග එක්වූ පාවාදෙන්නන් සහ වෙනත් ලබා ප්‍රයෝජන අපේක්ෂාවෙන් හතුරා සමග සහජීවනයට කැමති වුවන් (බොහෝ විට සතුරා ආක්‍රමණයකදී සතුරා සමග සටන් නොකර ඔවුන් සමග එක්වන්නේ තමන්ගේ නිජ බූමිය නොවන දේශයක ජීවත් වන්නන්ය) කොලඔට සංක්‍රමණය විය. අදත් කොලඔ වෙසෙන පාරම්පරික ජනයා යනු මෙම පාවා දුන්නගෙන් පැවතෙන්නන්ය. මොවුන්ගේ චින්තනය හැඩ ගැසී ඇත්තේ බටහිරට වහල් අයුරිනි. මෙම ප්‍රදේශයේ ආගමික සහ අධ්‍යාපන යාන්තරණය දිගටම මෙම වහල් මානසිකත්වය පවත්වා ගැනීමට සුද්දන් අපූරුවට සකස්කර යන ලද්දකි. එබැවින් මොවුන් එදා මෙන් අදද බටහිරට ගැති දේසපාලන පක්ස සදහා ඡන්දය දීමට වැඩි නැබුරුවක් ඇත.

වෙළදාම මත යැපෙන ඇතැම් ජාතීන්ගේ සංක්‍රමනයන්ද වාණිජ කටයුතු හේතුවෙන් කොලඔට කේන්ද්‍ර වී ඇත. ඔවුන්ගේ ජීවිකාව නිෂ්පාදනය නොව හුදු වෙලදාමින් ලාබ ලැබීමයි. ජාතික ආර්ථිකය මත වැඩි බරක් යොදන පාලනයකට වඩා මොවුන් තම වාසිය පිණිස වඩාත් නැබුරු වනුයේ කොල්ලකාරී වෙළද ආර්ථිකයකට නැබුරු දේශපාලන පක්ෂ කෙරිහිය.

මේ අය අතර තවත් අසරණ ජන කොට්ටාසයක් ද කොලඔ නගරයේ වෙසෙති. මොවුන් නම් අන්ත අසරණ දුක්ඛිත ජීවිත ගත කරන මුඩුක්කු හා පැල්පත් වාසී ජනතාවය්. මොවුන්ද යටත් විජිත සමයේ කර්මාන්තශාලා වල හෝ වෙනත් සුළු රැකියා සදහා කොලබට සංක්‍රමණය කරවා ගන්න ලද ජන කොටසක වර්තමාන පිලිබිබුවයි. ඔවුන්ට අද උරුමවී ඇත්තේ යටත්විජිත වාදීන් උරුමකර ගිය යැපුම් ආර්ථිකයේ කරුමය වුවද අවාසනාවකට මෙම කරුමය ඔවුන්ගේ උරුමය යය විශ්වාස කරන්නන් බවට පත් වී සිටී. යටත් විජිත සමයේ සිට පැවති සහ සම්බන්දය නිසාදෝ මොවුන් අද පවා වැඩි විශ්වාසයක් දක්වන්නේ කොම්ප්‍රදෝරු දේශපාලන පක්ෂ කෙරිහිය.

කොලඔ නගරයේ වර්තමාන සමාජ-දේශපාලන පසුබිම යටත් විජිත ආක්‍රමණය යන ඓතිහාසික සිද්ධියකඵලයක් ලෙස ලැබුණු විකෘර්තියකි. ත්‍රස්තවාදයත් ඔවුන්ට සහය දුන් බටහිර අදිරාජ්‍ය වාදීනුත් 2009 වසරේදී එකවර පැරදවීමෙන් ඇරබුනු ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ සැබෑ නිදහස් අරගලයේ අවසන් අදියර ලෙස බටහිර ගැත්තන්ගේ මහා බලකොටුව වන කොලඔ නාගරිකය දේශපාලන වසයෙන් ජය ගැනීමේ බරපතල අබියෝගයට අද මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ ආණ්ඩුව මුහුණ දී සිටි.

මෑත ඉතිහාසයේදී ආණ්ඩුව (විශේෂයෙන්ම ගෝටාභය රාජපක්ස මැතිතුමා) කුණු කදු ඉවත් කරලා මාර්ග සංවර්දනය කරලා ආදී වසයෙන් දැනෙන යමක් කොලබ නගරයට සිදු කර ඇත. විශාලා මහනුවර ආකාරයෙන් LTTE ත්‍රස්තයන්ගේ බලපෑමට ගොදුරුවී තිබු , බෝම්බයක් නොපිපුරුන පාරක් නැති තරම් උන කොලබ නගරයේ මරබිය දුරුකලේ මෙම ආණ්ඩුව නොවේද? මෙව්වට කෙලහිගුනයක් කොලබ නාගරිකයන්ට තිබේද වගේ ප්‍රශ්න චන්ද ප්‍රතිපලයෙන් දැනගන්න ලැබෙනු ඇත.

මෙහි ඡන්ද ප්‍රතිඵලය නව ශ්‍රී ලංකාව තුල කොලඔ නගරයේ අනාගත ඉරණම තීන්දු කරනු ඇත. ආණ්ඩුව කොලඔ ජය ගත හොත් මෙරට නව ගමන් මගේ තීරණාත්මක වැඩ කොටසක් තව දුරටත් කොලඔට පැවරෙනු ඇත. වෙනත් ප්‍රතිඵලයක් ලැබුනහොත් ආණ්ඩුව යටත් විජිත වාදයේ ශාපලත් නගරය තව දුරටත් බරක් කර නොගෙන බහුතර ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයන් සමග එකට සිටගත හැකි ජනතාවක් වෙසෙන විකල්ප ප්‍රදේශයක් තෝරාගෙන එය නවීන අග නගරයක් ලෙස සංවර්ධනය කිරීමට පෙලෙබීම නොඅනුමානය. ප්‍රජාතන්ත්‍රවාදී පාලන රටාව තුල පළමු තීරණය ඇත්තේ කොලඔ නගරයේ වෙසෙන ජනතාවටය. ඔවුන්ගේ තීරණය මත රජයේ ඉදිරි සංවර්ධන සැලසුම් සකස්වනු ඇත.

ඉතිහාසය පුරා අද්‍යාත්මික වශයෙන් කිසිදු හික්මීමක් නොලබා තිබු බටහිර ජාතීන් කාර්මික විප්ලවය තුලින් යම් උත්තේජයක් ලැබීය. එතුලින් ලැබූ ආශ්වාදය තුල අන්රටවල් ආක්‍රමණය කර ඒවායෙහි සම්පත් කොල්ලකාගැනීමට ඔවුන් නිතැතින් පෙලබුනි. සම්පත් රැස් කරගැනීමේ උන්මාදයෙන් පෙළුණු පාලකයන්ට ඒවා සාදාරනී කරණය කරගැනීමට කතෝලික පල්ලිය විසින් ලබා දුන් කොන්දීසිය වුයේ කෲරතර මිනිස් ගාතන සහ සම්පත් කොල්ලය දෙවියන් ඉදිරියේ හිලවු කිරීමට කතෝලික ආගම එම රටවල් වල පතුරවන ලෙසය්.

1505 දේ පරංගින් මෙරටට ගොඩ බසිනු ලැබුවේද මෙහි ප්‍රතිපලයක් ලෙසිනි. නමුත් ඔවුන්ට තීරණාත්මක ලෙස රජයට මැදිහත් වීමට ස්වදෙසිකයන්ගේ අසමගිය ඔවුන්ගේ තුවක්කු බලයට වඩා ඉවහල් වුනි. මුළු ආසියාවේම මෙන්ම අප්‍රිකාවේද මෙම ස්වාදෙසිකයන් අසමගි කෙරීමේ උපක්‍රමය බටහිර ජාතීන් ඉතා සූක්ෂම ලෙස බාවිතා කරන ලදී. මේ කාර්ය සදහම ඔවුන් තමන්ට හිතවාදී කණ්ඩායමක් එම රටවල බිහි කරගන්න ලදී. මෙම පිරිස තෝරාගනු ලැබූයේ කුල පීඩනය සහ වෙනත් සමාජමය හෝ සංස්කෘතිකමය වසයෙන් කිසියම් නොගැලපීමකට ලක්ව සිටි ස්වදේශික ජන කණ්ඩායම් අතරිනි. ඔවුන්ව දේශපාලන සහ ශාස්ත්‍රීය වසයෙන් අප අද හදුනාගනුයේ “කොම්ප්‍රදොරුවන්” (comprador) ලෙසිනි. මෙම පෘතුගීසි වචනයේ තේරුම මිලට ගන්න (buyer) යන්නය. මුලදී ඔවුන් ආක්‍රමණික ජාතිය සහ ස්වාදෙසිකයන් අතර ගනු දෙනු වල අතර මැදියකුගේ බූමිකාව ඉටුකරනු ලැබිණි.

මෙම උපායමාර්ගික කාර්ය කරන පැලැන්තිය වැඩි වැඩියෙන් බෝ කරගැනීම සදහා බටහිර හාම්පුතුන් ඉතා පැහැදිලි අවියක් බාවිතා කරනු ලැබිණි. එනම් වරදාන (rewards) ප්‍රදානයය්. මෙම වරාදනයන් ඍජු මුදල් වසයෙන් හෝ ගනුදෙනුවල කොමිස් මුදල් ලබාදීම ලෙස ඇරබිණි. ක්‍රමයෙන් වෙරළබඩ පෙදෙස් ඔවුන්ගේ ග්‍රහණයට යොමුකරගත් පසු එම ප්‍රදේසවල ව්‍යාපාරවල (සුරා වෙළදාම වැනි) ඒකාධිකාරය, ඉඩම් වල පාලනය වැනි අංශද කොම්ප්‍රදොරුවන්ගේ අතට පත්කරන ලදී. බටහිර හාම්පුතුන්ගේ සිත් වඩාත් හොදින් දිනාගත් පිරිසට දේශපාලන බලයෙහි කොටසක්ද ලැබුණි. මෙහි අවසන් ප්‍රතිපලය වුයේ බටහිර යටත්විජිත වාදීන් සහ කොම්ප්‍රදොරු ස්වදෙසිකයන් එකිනෙකා මත දැඩිලෙස රදාපවත්නා තත්වයකට පත්වීමය්.

මෙම ස්වෙදෙසිකයන් බහුතරය දිගටම තමන්ගේ මුල් ආගම ඇදහීම සිදු කරමින් පැවතිනි. නමුත් බටහිර හාම්පුතුන් ලබාදුන් න්‍යාය පත්‍රයට අනුව වැඩ කිරීමේදී තමන් විස්වාස කල ස්වදේශික ආගමික මතයන් ඔවුන්ගේම හෘද සාක්ෂියට පීඩනයක් ඇති කරනු ලැබීය. බය්නේත්තුවේ බලයෙන් කල ආගම පැතිරවීමට අමතරව කතෝලික ආගමට නැවතත් මානුසික වාදී මුහුණුවරින් මතුවීමට හැකියාව ලැබුනේ මෙහෙදීය. එම සියලු අකටයුතු කම් කරනුයේ දෙවියන් වහන්සේගේ කැමැත්ත මත බවත්, ඔහුව භක්තියෙන් විස්වාස කරනු ලබූවොත් කරන සියලු නොපනත් කම් සදහා දිව්‍යමය සමාව ලබාගත හැකිබවත් සුදු හාම්පුතුන් විසින් කොම්ප්‍රදෝරු ස්වදෙසිකයන්ට දැනගන්න සැලැස්වීය. මේ ආකාරයට බටහිර ආක්‍රමණික හාම්පුතුන් තම සුවච හෙන්චෛයන්ගේ ජීවත්වන භවය පමණක් නොව මරණින් පසු ආත්මයද (soul) බොරු පොරොන්දුවක් ලබාදී කතෝලික ආගම මගින් යටත්විජිතකරණය කරගන්නා ලදී.

1948 දේ අදිරජ්‍යවාදීන් මෙරට හැර යනවිට මෙම ස්වදේසික කොම්ප්‍රදොරු වහල් මානසික දාසයන් බුරුතු පිටින් බිහිකර අවසන් කර තිබුණි. මේ සදහා පල්ලියත්, පල්ලිය මූලික වූ බටහිර අද්‍යාපනයත් සලකියුතු ලෙස දායක විය. අනෙක් අතට ක්‍රමානුකූලව අදිරාජ්‍ය වාදීන්ගේ න්‍යාය පත්‍රයට අනුව චන්ද බලය කොටස් වසයෙන් ලිහිල් කරමින් ලබාදීම තුල මෙම කොම්ප්‍රදොරු පැලැන්තියට ක්‍රමානුකූලව හා උපායශිලීව දේශපාලන බලය පවරාදී තිබුණි. සර්වජන චන්ද බලය ලබා දෙන අවදිය වන විට දේශපාලන බලය මුළුමනින්ම අදිරාජ්‍ය වාදීන්ට කබුරනු ලැබූ කොම්ප්‍රදොරුවන් අතය.
සුද්දන් රට හැර ගියේ ඔවුන්ටත් වඩා හොදට එම න්‍යාය පත්‍රය අනුගමනය කල හැකි ටොප් හැට් පළදින ඉංගිරිසියෙන් හිතන කළු සුද්දන් දේශපාලනයේ ඉහලම පුටුවල තබාය. ප්‍රජාතන්ත්‍රවාදයට අනුව විපක්ෂයක්ද අවශ්‍ය උනි. එංගලන්තේ ඉගනීමට ගොස් සිටි තවත් කොම්ප්‍රදොරුවන්ගේ දරුවන් කොටසක් කොලොම් තොටට නැවත ගොඩ බැස්සේ මොලේ ඔල්මොරොන්දන් වූ කාල් මාර්ක්ස්, එංගල්ස් වැනි හම්පඩ සුද්දන්ගේ මතවාද හිස් මුදුනේ තබාගෙන අලුතින් ආගමක් සොයගෙන පැමිණියවුන් ලෙසය. වහල් මානසිකත්වයෙන් පීඩිතව සිටි ස්වදෙශි සමාජයේ වෛරය මොවුන්ගේ සුරන්ගනා කතා වලට හිලවු විය.

බලය ලබාගත් කොම්ප්‍රදොරු පන්තිය සෑම වසරකම පෙබරවාරි 04 දින තම පැලැන්තියට සුද්දාගෙන් උරුමවූ නිදහස සමරන ලදී. අහිංසක පොදු ජනයාට තිබුනේ එයට හුරේ දැමීමත් චන්ද දින වලදී ඔවුන් ඉදිරිපත් කරන නියෝජිතයන්ට කතිරය ගසා විත් නිෂ්ක්‍රීය පුරවැසියන් ලෙස උපන් බිමේ ජීවත් වීමටත්ය. මෙම අදුරු ඉතිහාසය දැනගෙන එය විචාර බුද්දියෙන් කියවා කවුරුන් හෝ තේරුම් ගනු ඇතය් බියවූ පාලක පැලැන්තිය ඊලගට කලේ ඉතිහාස විශය අධ්‍යාපනයෙන් කුණු කූඩයට හෙලීමය. මෙසේ 1948 සිට 2005 දක්වා වසර හැටකට ආසන්න කාලයක් මෙරට පාලනය කෙරීමට කොම්ප්‍රදොරු පන්තියට හැකි විය.

Dear Jens Stoltenberg (PM of Norway),

First of all, I would convey my deepest sympathy for all those dies in cowardly bomb blast and shooting incident in your country. I am happy that you were unheard in the blast. It is time for you to contemplate on what is happening. The motives behind the attack are still unknown, but we can clearly speculate. This time, you have rightly called the incident in your backyard as "bloody and cowardly" because now you should feel the true meaning of terrorism (TERROR + ISM). You have been terrorized by a group of people for the first time.

Over the past decades, we were the victims of terrorism and your country was so eager to solve it. So your solution was two parts. Firstly, you influenced us to negotiate with terrorists and secondly you make your country a safe haven for terrorists and their propaganda agents.

So, dear Prime Minister when are you going to start negotiating with the leader behind this attack. Unfortunately we cannot facilitate peace talks because we do not believe in negotiating with terrorism but defeating them at any cost.

I wish that either US sectary of state Hillary Rodham Clinton or UK prime Minister David Cameron will arrange five star luxury hotels either in New York or London for the delegations for having cordial discussions and come to a negotiated settlement. You may select versatile Erik Solheim as your head of delegation, but he would opt to play the role of a facilitator.

By the way, why do not you provide those people behind the attack with Radio and other communication transmission facilities and ask them to do propaganda on bloodshed rather than blasting your neighborhood.
Firstly, I was wondering who is supporting the blast and shootout incidents in such a so called peaceful country like yours. But now I can understand that bulk of the terrorist deserters has migrated to your country, and they will ready to give their proficiency for anyone willing to pay them.

So dear Prime Minister, welcome to reality and this is time to practice what you have been preaching (or rather forcing) countries like Sri Lanka for long. We are closely monitoring the progress of you negotiated settlement with the people behind the attack.

වෙසක් දිනයත් වෙසක් හා බැදුන වෙසක් කූඩු දැල්වීම වැනි ආමිස පූජාමය වත් පිළිවෙත් දෙස වඩාත් ඇස ගසා සිටිනුයේ බටහිට ගැති ඊනියා ලුම්පන් ව්‍යාපාරිකයන්ය. බටහිර යනු වස්තු කාමයත් බල කාමයත් මත ගොඩ නැගුනු සංස්කෘතියකි.

පෙරදිගින් හෝ මැද පෙරදිගින් සංක්‍රමණය වූ ආගමි කිහිපයක ඉද හිට හැමූ ආටෝපමය සුළග මිස වෙනත් කිසියම් වූ ආධ්‍යාත්මක හැදියාවක් නැති ධනවාදී හා යුද වාදී බටහිරයන්ට ආගම යනු තවත් මුදල් උපයන අවස්ථාවක් පමණක්මය. අද වනවිට නත්තල් දිනයට උරුමවී ඇත්තේ එම යථාර්තයයි. බටහිර ගැති අපගේ කළු සුද්දන්ගේ සිතුම් පැතුම් ඇතැම් විට බටහිරයන්ටද වඩා අන්තගාමී වේ.

වෙසක් දිනය යනු බෞද්දයන්ට වැදගත්ම දිනයයි. නමුත් ලංකාවේ ධන වැද්දන්ට වෙසක් දිනය යනු මෝඩ පාරිබෝගිකයන් රවටාගැනීමට තවත් අවස්ථාවක් පමණක්ම වේ. ඔලු බක්කන්ගේ සිට සුබ පැතුම් පත් දක්වා ඔවුන් යුහුසුළුව ක්‍රියාත්මකව සිටී. වෙසක් කුඩුව යනු මේයින් වඩාත් ඛේදජනක ඉරනමකට ගොදුරු වී ඇති ආගමික සංකේතයකි.

බුදුන් වහන්සේ සම්මා සම්බුද්දත්වයට පත්වීමත් සමග ලෝකයට අවිද්‍යාව දුරුවී ආලෝකය පහල වුනි. වෙසක් දිනයේ බෞද්දයන් වෙසක් කූඩු දල්වනුයේ සම්මා සම්බුදු පියාණන් වහන්සේගේ සම්බුද්දත්වය සංකේතාත්මකව දැක්වීමටය. එය ආලෝකයේ සහ සම්බුද්දත්වයේ සංකේතාත්මක ආගමික නිරූපනයකි.

මුදල් පසුපස හබා යන සමාජීය පසුබිමක මෙම සංකේතාත්මක වෙසක් කුඩුව දැඩිලෙස විකෘතියකට පත්වී ඇත. වෙසක් දිනයේ වැඩි පිරිසක් නගරයට ඇදෙනබව ඊනියා ව්‍යාපාරිකයන් සහ ඔවුන්ගේ වෙළද ප්‍රවර්දකයන් හොදින්ම දනී. එම නිසා අද අගනුවර වැඩිපුර දැල්වෙනුයේ ශ්‍රද්දාව මත ස්වේච්ඡාවෙන් සදනු ලැබූ කූඩු වලට වඩා ආයතන වල සේවකයන් ලවා එම ආයතන වල ප්‍රචාරාත්මක කටයුතු සදහා සාදන ලද කූඩුය. ඒවායේ ප්‍රමුඛව ඇත්තේ ආයතනයේ ව්‍යාපාරික ලාංචනය වේ (company & brand symbols ) . මේවා වෙසක් දිනයේ දල්වන "marketing & branding " කූඩු මිස කිසිසේත් වෙසක් කූඩු නම් නොවන්නේමය. මේවායේ බෞද්ද සංකේත ඇත්තෙම නැති හුදු විකෘතීන් පමණක්ම වේ.

බුදු දහම යනු දැඩි ආශාව වෙනුවට දානයත්, තරගකාරීත්වය වෙනුවට සහජීවනයත් අගයන සර්වකාලීන දර්ශනයකි. සරල යහපැවැත්ම එහි මූලික හරයකි. 1977 වර්ෂයෙන් පසුව ඇති වූ විකෘතිය තුල උඩු යිකුරු වූ සමාජය තුල තවමත් සිවිල් බලය හිමිව ඇත්තේ බොරුව සහ වංචාව මත මුදල් හබා යන වංචා කාරී ව්‍යාපාරිකයන් අතලොස්සකටය.

මෙම වෙසක් දිනයේ ඔබත් නාගරික ප්‍රදේශ වල සැරි සැරුවහොත් මෙවැනි බොදු සළු පිලි දවටාගත් කූට ව්‍යාපාරිකයන් ඔබටම හදුනාගත හැකි වනු ඇත. නියම බෞද්දයන්ගෙන් වෙන් කර ව්‍යාජ ධන වැද්දන් හදුනාගැනීමට මෙවර වෙසක් දිනය යොදාගන්නමෙන් සකල ලක් වාසී සැදැහැවත් බෞද්දයන්ට ආරාධනා කරන්නෙමු. ඔවුන් මේ ඔච්චන් කරනුයේ නියම බෞද්දයන්ගේ සැදැහැති බවට සහ බුද්ධියට බව අප කිසි සෙත් අමතක නොකර යුතුය.

There is still a big buzz about killing of LTTE terrorist leader Velupille Piripaharan. LTTE leader was killed against the will of Western political leadership. Some vicious elements in the West is still finding ways to revenge their political defeat. In this backdrop it has reported the killing of Osama Bil Laden. Following is an one to one comparison of both the victories of fight against terrorism.

Leader of LTTE terrorist organization.	Leader of Al-qaida terrorist organization.
Killed in battle field at Nandikadal lagoon in Mulativu, Sri Lanka.	Killed in his private compound in civilian area in Pakistan by United States Navy SEALS in a covert operation authorized by USA President Barrack Obama.
Killed while in LTTE military uniform on day time.	Killed in civilian attire while sleeping in the mid of night.
Person was hiding and fighting in unidentified manner until the body was subsequently recognized as Piripaharan	Before attacking the place, US military and president Obama had confirmed that Osama Bin Laden was in the house with minimal security. USA military and political leadership could have easily arrested Osama instead.
Killed when he was with his gun and fighting against military forces	USA officials has claimed that Osama has not resisted with firing during the operation

In which situation killing could have been avoided if required?

Insight into killing of Osama Bin Laden

Still there is big buzz about killing of LTTE terrorist leader Piripahara in the battle front of Nandikadal. All of a sudden, it has now reported that Al-Qaida terrorist leader Osama Bin Laden was killed by an attack on a civilian house in Pakistan. Here comes the multi-billion dollar worth question. Is killing of terrorist leaders like Osama Bin Laden and Piripaharan war crimes?

It is first reported in USA mainstream media like New York Times that, USA military intelligence has revealed suspicious location, a large house in a suburb north of Islamabad at the end of a long dirt road with no phone and no internet, during summer 2010.

On May 2nd, USA claimed that Bin Laden was killed by a combined air raid and ambush conducted by USA. It further stated that the US tier-one counter-terrorism, Seal Team Six (ST6) led the assault. Together with this story, the main stream Western media start publishing a photo claimed to be the face of the dead body of Bin Laden killed in air strike.

The USA military officials were initially silent about the photo since it was well fit into the story. These so called RESPONSIBLE Western media were not at all worried about the source of the photo.

All of a sudden, people with analytical mind start questioning the genuineness of the photo with clear evidences. Then it all started to turn around.

On May 2nd, White House counter-terrorism advisor John Brennan said that Bin Laden had used one of his wives as a human shield and was "engaged in a firefight" with Navy SEALs when he was shot. Brennan riffed on the human-shield detail, suggesting that it had revealed Bin Laden's true character.

On May 3rd, White House spokesperson Jay Carney said that this first report was incorrect. Instead, Carney said, one of Bin Laden's wives had rushed toward a SEAL and was shot in the leg and that Bin Laden himself had been unarmed when he was shot.

The latter story has raised questions about whether the U.S. acted "legally." (Storming someone's house in the middle of the night and shooting and killing people).

Although the White House's changing story is frustrating, the questions about the "legality" of Bin Laden's killing are absurd. This is a man who killed nearly 3,000 Americans a decade ago and has spent much of the past decade promising to kill more. Whatever protections the "laws of combat" provide, Bin Laden certainly hadn't followed them himself. And if Bin Laden had really wanted to surrender, he could have done so at any time in the past 10 years. Instead, he stayed in hiding, and kept inciting more violence.

In short, Osama Bin Laden had long since forfeited any right to be treated in accordance with any "laws of combat." And it wasn't worth even the tiniest risk of harm to another American to give him the benefit of a doubt.

ඇමරිකාව සිතා සිටින්නේ මේ රටේ බහුතරයද අනෙකුත් බොහෝ රටවල මෙන් ගොන් කිරි බී වැඩුන රටේ මොඩයන් යයි කියාය. නමුත් ඔවුන් නොදන්නා සත්‍ය වනුයේ මෙරටේ බහුතරයක් අවුරුදු හතරක් පහක් යනතුරු මවු කිරි බී මොලය හොදින් වැඬුණු මිනිසුන් බවය. මිහිතලය වනසමින්ද සම්පත් කොල්ලකමින්ද යුද කලහකාරීව ජීවත් වන බටහිර ජාතීන් අපිට මානව අයතිවාසිකම් ඉගැන්වීමට පැමිණීම විහිළුවක් පමණක්ම වේ.

බොදු හැදියාව සහ සිංහල සංස්කෘතිය සමග වැදුන ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයන් වන අප මිනිසුන් පමණක් නොව සතා සිව්පාව සහ ගහ කොළ වලටද ආදරය කරන්නෙමු. මේගැන බටහිරින් වැදී බණ අසන්නට අපට අවශ්‍ය නැතිබව ඔවුන් දැන්වත් අවබෝද කරගත යුතුය. ත්‍රස්තවාදය සහ බලහත්කාරයට එරෙහිව සටනේදී අපි ජාතියක් ලෙසින් කොන්දීසි විරහිතව එක්වූ ලෙසින් ජාත්යන්තර බලපෑම් වලට එරෙහිවද එකාවන්ව සටන් කරන්නෙමු.

යුද අපරාද චෝදනාවට මුල පුරනු ලැබුවේ සරත් ෆොන්සේකා නම් වියරු ස්වාර්ථකාමී දූෂිත බල උන්මත්තකයා බව අපි හොදින්ම දන්නෙමු. ශ්‍රී ලාංකීය ඉතිහාසය පාවාදීම් වලින් විරලවුවක් නොවේ. හැමදාමත් සතුරා පාවිච්චි කලේ මෙවැනි බලකාමී මෝඩයන්මය. සතුරාගේ ප්‍රදාන ශාක්ෂිකරුවා අද සිරකරුවෙකු වී සිටීම ජාතියේ වාසනාවකි. නැත්නම් වාචාල හා නොහික්මුණු කල වැද්දන් ජාතියට බොහෝ දේ මේ වෙන විටත් අහිමිකරවීමට හොදටම ඉඩ තිබුණි.

රනිල් වික්රමසින්හ නම දේසපාලන නපුංසකයා මෙහෙදී හැසිරෙනුයේ කසාය බිවූ ගොළුවෙකු මෙනි. ඔහු තොත්ත බබාය. ඉද හිට ඔහුගේ ඔඩොක්කු කුක්කෙකු හඩලන්නේය. ජාත්‍යන්තරයට එකකුත් ජනතාවට තවකකුත් කියා අවසානයේ ජනතාව ගොනාට ඇන්දවීම UNP යේ පතෝල න්‍යාය වී තිබේ. සත්‍ය නම් UNP දේසපාලනය මෙරට නොව බ්‍රිතාන්‍ය තුල මුල්බැස ඇති බැවින් බටහිර සහ UNP යනු සහ සංවාසයේ යෙදෙන දෙපර්සවයක් බවය.

මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ යනු ජනතා වාදී නායකයෙකි. ඔහු බටහිර අද්‍යපනයෙන් හෝ සිතුම් පැතුම් වලින් ඔද්දලුවූ තවත් වණයක් නොවේ. අව්‍යාජ ගැමිකමත් හෙළ හැදියාවත් ඇති ජනසම්මත නායකත්වය සමග ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ඉදිරි ගමන නැවැත්වීමෙ ඇමෙරිකානු හෝ අනෙකුත් බටහිර අදිරාජ්‍ය වාදීන්ගේ සිහින එකිනෙක බිදෙ හෙලීමට ශ්‍රී ලාංකීය ජාතිය නැගී සිට ඇත. අපි ආසියාව සමග වඩාත් යහපත් හෙටක් වෙනුවෙන් ගොඩැනැගේන්නෙමු.

The truth behind UN report on Sri Lanka - The muppot show of Ban Ki Moon

We all know that UN General Secretary Ban Ki Moon (BaKaMoona) is just a Muppet of the West. Another Muppet’s show is now live telecasting at UN head quarters in New York, USA. So called three man advisory committee for Ban Ki Moon has submitted its report.

We all knew the intended content of it from the first day the advisory committee was appointed by Moon. It was just a matter of false formality by the committee before publishing the report. As we all know, it was all screening according to the script written by US state department.

Defeating LTTE terrorism against the will of the West
The government of Sri Lanka under the leadership of President Mahinda Rajapaksa defeated LTTE terrorism against the will of the West. LTTE was not all about separatism of Tamils. There were broader and organized politico-wconomic forces behind the LTTE. LTTE was another front of neo-colonialism of the West. West need political instability for further exploitation of their former colonies and LTTE was just another Muppet front of the West. Norway and UK played key role in fueling LTTE terrorism playing facilitator role for separatism. It was all about divide and rule.

But West defeated miserably at the eleventh hour when it was all set for them. No wonder they hate the present government. Now they desperately want to punish Sri Lankan leader and the people for go against supremacy of West and defeating terrorism.

Ban Ki Moon – The Muppet man
The entire world know that Ban Ki Moon is not a competent person or leader. He has no mandate of people. His best qualification for the post was being a man of platitude. A weak man was an appropriate choice of the West and Ban Ki Moon is playing just that. Though his post is ‘General Secretary’, he is only a secretary and not by any means a general.

A man fall from the Moon indeed
When USA was invading Iraq and failing to justify any purpose while killing millions of innocent civilians, Ban Ki Moon was behaving like a man from the moon. He is deaf and blind for those. But when Sri Lanka defeated terrorism which lasted for more than twenty five years, Moon waked up. The Muppet show started. The state department of USA is holding the strings and Moon is dancing according to the tune of the frustrated West.

UN- the mismatch of the present
UN was a result of USA and its ally winning World War II. USA and its western ally dominated the UN. The UN reflected the political equilibrium of late 1940’s when the West dominated over the East. It has all changed ever since. Now Asia is ruling over the West. The BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India & China) is the new world order. China is clearly the leader of world economy. Asia has won back supremacy of the world. China’s current reserves are now over 3 Trillion Dollars while USA and Europe is under debt.

USA is no longer an economic super power, but a diminishing country with an ailing economy. Western Europe is also under debt and austerity for survival. It’s time for the UN to restructure according to current politico-economic balance or else the UN has to face a natural death in New York. We are now in need of a new world forum for the betterment of the world and its headquarters must be in rising Asia.

First round of voting ended with Sri Lankan president climbed to 6th position. The only politician to be in top 10.

Now Time magazine says people can vote until 21st. In the same time they says "TIME 100 list has now closed (with Rain as the 2011 readers' choice). If the poll is closed why they allow people to continue work? Is this the way America conduct elections too?

Is this a real daylight "COMPUTER GILMAL" of Time magazine/CNN because they are upset of MR coming to top 10 beating Obama, Hillary etc?

Sinhala and Tamil New Year time is always enjoyable time. It is break for everyone from hustle and bustle of life. But for cunning business mafia it is just another opportunity to exploit you. Now the true spirit of New Year has swallowed by these money hungry business elements.

Businessmen’s Avurudu
For common people, the New Year is on 13 or 14th of April. The media starts screaming Avurudu even as early as middle of March. They are not interested in Avurudu itself but selling (marketing) Avurudu back to you!!!

When the Avurudu day is finally reached, your ears are already over filled with business men’s Avurudu of mass media. Avurudu is all about freshness and new beginning. Alas this cunning business mafia has already spoiled Avurudu into an ordinary event.

Foolish greetings of 'New Year' on 'Old Year'
We all know that April 13th is considered as Parana Avurudu Day (Old Year Day) which we use to clean up and preparing for the New Year day. But we are living in crazy competitive society that no one is patient enough to wait till Avurudu arrivel to wish others “Happy New Year”. These jokers wish for Avurudu even as early as 10th or 11th of April because they want to wish you before others due to completion of life. It all shows the pathetic situation of capitalist society itself.

Artificial Avurudu
Avrudu is Sri Lankan cultural event. Avurudu is for our traditions, our food and our colure. However multinational and some ant-national (some of them pretend to be national) business mafia has turned Avurudu into Western culture because all their products and services can shine under westernized mind set of the consumer. From cake to meat balls, from Coca Cola to Chocolate has invaded our Avurudu festival.

It is no longer the freshness of Milk rice or taste of Kaun, but chemically preserved cakes to artificial carbonated drinks dominating fool man’s Avurudu. Some of these cakes are so filled with chemicals that they taste like piece of chemical than a food item. No wonder they have to add so much of chemicals because most of these food items have expiry period in months!! Consuming and gifting this type of artificially preserved cake and other food items is asking for cancer and other related deceases in the Avurudu table.

Avurudu of myths
It is a tragedy that Hindu astrology has dominated Sinhala new year which is celebrated by majority of Buddhists.These cunning people who make living out of mythology becomes heroes and commanders during Avurudu period. It is time to shed this mythical mental tail from celebration of Avurudu festival.

Let’s celebrate Avurudu, but not fooled by vicious business mafia or cunning astrologers.

Sri Lankan cricket in World cup 2011 - A realistic analysis

The 2011 cricket world cup ended with disappointment for Sri Lankan fans. There is a saying that “Winning has too many fathers while defeat is fatherless”. Still it is important to anlyse and identifies the mistakes made in order to rectify those in the future.
Bad team selection
It is critical that you play your best players in the world cup which is the ultimate competitive cricket! Unfortunately, Sri Lanka picked wrong squad and the ultimate panelty was payed in the final. In that senses, Sri Lanka deserve the defeat!!

It was always a question mark when Selection Committi decided to include Dilhala Fernado, Chamara Kapugedara, Chamara Silva and Tilan Samaraweera in the World cup squad. None of these players had made a considerable contribution to winning an ODI match in the recent past. It was crazy team selection from the beginning.

Let’s see ODI statistics of some of these players.

It is clear that Chamara Kapugedara is not good enough to play for world cup. His average is poor and not even scored a single century. Sri Lankan fricket fans have not seen a considerable contribution from Kapugedara, nor he is renowned for special talent.

Tilan Samaraweera is not a player for ODI !!. He is good test cricket player. He does not have enogh talent, versetality or guts for attacking ODI cricket. No wonder he mere became a cheer leader celibrating others succees on and outside the field rather than contributing to the team in reasonable extent.

Chamara Silva had failed in the recent past and out of form. It’s a tragedy that Aravinda de Silva and the othe selection commity could not find an alternative informed attacking batsman for the ODI squad.

Even Dilhara Fernando might have supprised hearing that he has been picked for World cup squad. When cricket loving community rightly criticized this selection, Aravinda de Silva came up with funny logics which he never applied when need arises. When reality was evident, even Aravinda was scared to use him when regular bowlers are injured!!!

Last minute crisis management
When Anjelo Mathews was injured the entire crisis burst up. The semifinal match exposed the incapability of middle order to the world. Suddenly the top order started feeling the extra burden.

Aravinda knew that picking players from his original world cup squad will tarnish his own image. So he opted for crisis management (Rather than proper upfront planningt) by calling Vass and Randeev from out side the squad directly to the final. It was all too late!!!

It is clear that Randiv should have been in original squad. It is natural that Randiv could not perform exceedingly well when he was suddenly put onto hot water in the final.

The middle order weak link is purly due to bad team selction. It would have even better to include player like Jayasooriy as a middleorder payer than using inexperience Kapugedara or defensive Samaraweera. Test cricket is all about attacking and positive playing and that is what we lacked.

Premature celebrations
When Sri Lankan team was selected for the final, the vicious marketing agents and petty politicians made a huge buzz pretending that Sri Lanka has already won. As previously discussed, the foreign companies with striving for profit have no love for our country. They mere cheered to grab the attention of cricket fans to fool them and sell their product and services. These foreign/multi-national companies were the leading false cheer leaders.

Cheering the team is one thing, but premature celebrations mere shows the stupidity of a nation!!

Some astrologers also exposed their true feathers fooled by the buzz of vicious marketing and stupid political elements.

Lets learn the lessons and change
The mistakes were mad and penalty is paid. It is time for the relevant authorities to accept the mistakes and let more competent people to hold the key responsibilities. Let the talent to perform. Facilitate their natural talent to boom rather than showing stupidity of bureaucracy. Then Sri Lankan cricket will boom.

The Sri Lankan nation is heated with cricket fever. Cricket is lovely game by its own. However while cricket is played on the field so many teams are playing in media, business and political filed as well. This is an attempt to analyze these inside games.

Colonial inheritance
Cricket was introduced by colonial masters when we were underdogs under British colonization. When they left the island they had transferred their politico-social-economic power to local agents. Cricket was no different. Cricket was played by handful of colonial schools like Royal and St. Thomas. Cricked administration was with comprador elite families of Colombo 07, Kandy and Kurunagala.

1996 World cup victory
1996 cricket world cup win was a result of many factors. By that time truly national schools like Ananda and Nalanda had managed to dominate the national team. In Parallel, people like Ana Punchihewa and Thilanga Sumathipala (An old Anandian and a Nalandian) came into the fore front in administrative side. The result was drastic change in the thinking of whole cricket team and the administration.

Counter attacking against Australia
Until 1996, we were taught to believe that cricket is “Gentlemen’s game” and we must play according to the norms preach by White Colonial Masters. But White nations used to sledge and humiliate us to keep their supremacy. It all changed when Arjuna Ranathunga and his team mates (with the backing of then cricket administration) start counterattacking in infamous Muralitheran Saga. It all peaked in winning the world cup by defeating the Australian team.

Playing cricket in our way
Before Sanath-Murali era we had plenty of classic cricketers who imitate English cricketers. But we never able to beat white players because we simply tried to follow English style which was best suited for people build up in cold conditions. However the moment we became innovative and start playing according to our physical reflexes and physical stamina, we were able to consistently defeat them.

2011 world cup
Since 1996, we have never been able to won the world cup again. We have lost our purpose and innovation in playing cricket due to commercialization.

Due to the win in 1996, cricket suddenly became highly profitable sport in Sri Lanka. All the businessmen and politicians started eying to enter cricket administration for petty business goals in mind.

Business mafia controlling cricket
It is a shame that government has let multinational business agents to exploit true spirit of sport. Months before the cricket world cup start, the cunning business mafia started their vicious propaganda. It’s a big joke that these multinational companies are pretending to be so patriotic and cheering Sri Lankan cricket team. Their sole intention is to transfer the enthusiasm of true Sri Lankan cricket lovers into their business traps.

Malaysian based Dialog telecom have lost their market share and they want to win back business more than Sri Lankan team want to win back cricket world cup. But all their pre matured artificial cricket campaign had made true cricket enthusiasm into a joke. In Dialog cricket advertisement (Which is now telecasting in every 15 min whole day), the former cricketers are make up like ponsy !! It’s a shame that our former cricketers and administrators go after money without considering their personality.

Cheer before win
World cup is a competition. Each team is competing for win to the last second. Our business mafia want to fool general public like we have already won (Same mistake was made last world cup also), because what they mind is promoting their products rather than winning the world cup. In fact these Western dominated companies like a Western country to win the world cup. Because as long as West dominate the sport, their western brands can be dominated over our own Sri Lankan products.

From Coca Cola to Pietza hut, from Prima wheat to Dialog telecom the inside game has started. They have one goal in common. Fooling the passionate Sri Lankan cricket fans and sell their products in light of dominance of Western culture in our society!

Lets cheer Sri Lankan crcket for yet another world cup win, at the same time lets outsmart vicious agenda of business agents in the same time.

If there are no road accidents in Sri Lanka, vehicle insurance industry is going to collapse. Cunning and shrewd Ceylinco Insurance company knows this fact more than anyone else. That is why they have invested millions of money in advertising to promote road accidents in Sri Lanka.

It is generally accepted fact that people should be rewarded for doing good things and generally punished for doing bad things. Then why does Ceylinco Insurance is rewarding foreign tours for those who meet with accidents?

The simple reason is every single road accident inflict fear on all the vehicle owners. Without accidents, insurance industry is not going to survive. That is why they promote accidents by rewarding the culprits!!
