Job Description:&lt;br /&gt;
Finance and Administrative Coordinator, Co-Manager&lt;br /&gt;
Hours: 30 hours a week&lt;br /&gt;
Salary: 18$/hour&lt;br /&gt;
Duration: One-year contract (renewable)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Finance and Administrative Coordinator will work alongside the Programming and Outreach Coordinator to manage the organizational needs of the CCSCB.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Primary tasks and responsibilities include:&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;	Financial management: Organizing and maintaining all financial documents, drafting monthly and annual budget, managing payroll and government remittances (source deductions, GST/QST payments), liaising with the Co-op&amp;rsquo;s accountant, the Board Finance Committee and the Board Treasurer, preparing A/P invoices and statements.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;	Coordinating year-end audit and inventory&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;	Maintaining individual and global publisher account records; issuing and tracking publisher account payments, credits, invoices&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;	Coordinating return of overstocks academic textbooks; coordinating internal and external office supply orders.&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;	Maintaining and developing office systems with other staff including archiving, filing, computer and communication systems&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;	Managing IT systems (including scheduled data backups, software updates, and liaising with Point of Sale (LightSpeed) tech support).&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Government Reports&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;	Keeping all government records up to date&lt;br /&gt;

&amp;bull;	Participating in organizational visioning/retreats with Board&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;	Participating in professional development trainings and workshops&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;	Organizing the Annual General Meeting with the Board and Programming and Outreach Coordinator&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Shared responsibilities with the Programming and Outreach Coordinator&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;	Working with other staff and the Board to maintain a clean, organized and welcoming front of store and office&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;	Supporting all staff through check-ins, team-building&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;	Hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating part-time staff&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;	Developing fulfilling and clear job descriptions for part-time staff&lt;br /&gt;

Job Requirements and Assets&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;	Minimum of 2 years recent related experience (financial management)&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;	Ability to work with a computer (PC and Mac), Proficiency in Word and Excel, MYOB, File Maker Pro and LightSpeed;&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;	Understanding of bookkeeping in a retail (inventory and sales-based) context;&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;	Excellent time management skills, organizational skills; self-motivation and self-direction;&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;	Bilingualism (French and English, spoken and written) ;&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;	Strong communication skills;&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;bull;	Ability to problem solve;&lt;br /&gt;
