The Pierre Cardin are showing off this neat little tablet with detachable keyboard at the CeBIT in Hanover, Germany, luckily the jkkmobile was on hand to grab this video, at least we can see how good it is.

This device has a capacitive multi touch display; well we think that some models will do. The feature is the detachable keyboard, there is something definitely retro about these devices and offer a few choices to the consumer. Although it seems that, there is a lack of prices and specifications for it though.

Hanvon Launch Two Tablets

The electrical firm Hanvon have launched a couple of tablets at the CeBIT event in Germany, these are the BC10C and the BA10E both are running Windows but they very different machines when it comes to what is going on inside. These are completely different tablets to anything that is around at the moment as you get the active digitizer, electromagnetic stylus and a capacitive touch screen too.

Hanvon BC10C model is a 10.1″ capacitive 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1.3GHz Intel Celeron ULV743 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, and HDMI connections, the casing is aluminium, plastic & carbon fibre, it comes running Windows 7 Home Premium and priced at around $650

Hanvon BA10E model is a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel display, 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 120GB hard drive, runs Windos XP Home, weighs between 1.5 pounds, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, and HDMI connections and will be priced at around $550

Samsung Launch N150 For Kids

Netbooks are ideal for kids anyway, there is not much that can be damaged, and so they are ideal for throwing into a bag and being carried around school or college. However, Samsung have made it just a little bit easier to choose a netbook for the kids.

The N150 is light and small, therefore easily portable yet at the CeBIT in Germany Samsung are pushing the N150 for kids and as expected it is almost identical to the grown up version the only difference being that it comes with some additional software aimed at kids.

Is this a bit of free PR for Samsung, or maybe it is a real attempt at providing a netbook especially designed for children as they claim it is.

Archos Launch More Tablets

Just as we have got used to the five inch Archos 5, they go and bring out the Archos 7 and the Archos 8, which unsurprisingly have seven and eight inch screens, you can work out which one is which!

Both of these machines offer the user ARM 9 processing technology that will run at a cool 600 MHz, both are around 12 mm thick, but differ slightly in appearance, the Archos 8 actually looks more like a digital photo frame, while the Archos 7 takes it form from the Archos 5.

Both units use the Google Android operating system and come with a USB port for east data transfer.

Prices are expected to start at around $100 when they launch next month.

Will we ever get to the point where we reach tablet overload in the similar manner as we did with the mini laptop when they first came out. It seems that the tablet is the new market for manufacturers to pour their products into.

There is a problem be here, is the market for tablets large enough for so many computer makers to enter, obviously with the amount tablets being launched there must be a market there and this is the EviGroup Paddle Tablet that wants to take the battle to Apple.

Although with a price tag of around $1,000 they have got to go a long way to beat the iPad.

10.1″ multitouch tablet with a 1.60GHz Atom CPU, running Windows OS, comes with Wi-Fi, 3G, digital TV tuner, choice of either 160GB to 320GB hard disk and for the SSD a 16GB or 32GB

I don’t know about you, but every time that I use by a credit card online with a new store or service, I have to take a deep breath before clicking on the payment button.

However, apparently it does not have to be like that as this device allows us to make purchase online free from the fear of malware and viruses that could possibly be hiding within your computer. It works because you only have to swipe the card and the software does the rest for you.

It sounds good, but with most payments you still have to give the security number and sometime verify that you are the card holder, so I am not sure how that works.

Features of the secure online payment system:

The included software works with your browser such that when you go to a website and are ready to purchase an item or service, a swipe of your card through the device encrypts your credit card data before it reaches your computer. The software then inserts the encrypted number into the credit card field on the website you are visiting. The software never stores your credit card number on your computer. Averatec are a well known clone maker of MSI machines, but with the launch of this latest offering the N1200 with all the latest machines it come with the 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 with GMA 3150 pine trail.

The Averatec N1200 netbook has what appears to be only one flaw and that is the two cell battery this can only be good enough for a couple of hours at most. However, on a plus note it is going to be lighter, so it is a matter of choice really.

The Medion brand is well known throughout Europe but it was when they hit the euro scene with the Akoya netbook, which happened to be a copy or, as they like to say these days a rebrand of the very successful MSI Wind U100.

But since those early days the Akoya has been updated several times and now there is a new Akoya around, it is the E1222, it comes with the traditional ten inch display and of course the latest 1.66 GHz Intel Atom N450 Pine Trail CPU.
