If you own a car then I bet you have been to a car wash at least once in your life. Maybe you prefer to wash your car yourself at home in your driveway? I know that all men dream of going to a bikini car wash, a topless car wash, or some other type of sexy car wash (with nude women), but unless you live in Las Vegas you should eliminate these ideas from your mind. Hooters restaurant though has been known to have a bikini car wash and sometimes a charity event (or school function) will host a bikini car wash to raise money. The reality is that by washing, waxing, and detailing your car every month, you will not only look better on the road but you will also help keep up the resale value of your vehicle. Some cities have harsh climates like Las Vegas (with 100 degree days) and Baltimore(with snowy winters) that can wreak havoc on a cars' exterior and moving parts. The biggest thing that takes a beating on any car is the paint job, although with the proper care most cars can stay looking new for years. When I was a kid washing a car was more of a personal experience because back then most people washed their cars at home in the driveway - yeah believe it or not people used to wash their own cars. My dad actually used to pay me $5 to wash his Nova and $10 for our family station wagon due to its ridiculous size. The latest number I heard was that there are 150 million automobiles on the roads in America and that 60% pay to have their cars washed. If you own an older car I highly recommend that you have your engine steam cleaned to help keep your motor running at peak performance. Over the years gunk, debris, and oil can build up on your engine which utimately can cause some serious problems. A good professional steam cleaning will cost you about $80, but if you can find a mobile service you will save some cash.

Health authorities said Thursday that 77 more patients might have contracted hepatitis C at a local medical clinic where unsafe injection practices have been identified.

The 77 patients of the Endoscopy Center of Southern Nevada, who recently tested positive for the liver disease, did not report any other risk factors for the disease other than having undergone a procedure at the clinic, said Brian Labus, senior epidemiologist for the Southern Nevada Health District.

"We can't say for certain that they got it at the clinic; however, the clinic is the obvious source of infection considering they had no other risk factors," Labus said.

The new cases are not acute, and patients would not have apparent symptoms.

"Your Vegas is Showing" is the new mantra of Las Vegas now, the "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas is outdated now.

With a hotel construction boom starting to feel the effects of a US housing crash and the possible slowdown of the US economy in 2008, Las Vegas is looking to boost its already successful marketing campaign with a new slogan.
Under the headline “Vegas Plans a New Push To Attract More People”, the Wall Street Journal ran a story about how Las Vegas is trying to attract more tourists despite the success of its 2003 slogan ‘What Happens Here Stays Here’.
The new slogan – titled “Your Vegas Is Showing” – seems to belie the fact that Las Vegas is suffering the threat of a potential downturn that can only be rectified by a growing influx of money-spending tourists. But, with the growth of the global online gaming industry, will the new campaign be enough to stimulate renewed interest in the gambling mecca?

Burger & Coffee in Las Vegas!

Unlike other cities, in Las Vegas, if you are looking for a good Burger, coffee and especially Hot Dogs, you will be in for a surprise, because there are not many choices you will find it to be.

There are not many choices for hotdogs. However, there are several places for Burger and coffee, there are way too many Burger king/McDonalds and Starbucks, but none of them are any good. May be there could be some exceptions but overall for burgers the worst places are "Long John Silver", I would never buy here, the next worst are McDonalds, Burger King and Jack in the Box. The one place I found to be consistently edible and reasonable compared to those list above is the "Carls Jr", I have tried all these places a few times, from my personal experience, this is the burger I will go for it again. It is not just my own experience, here is a review for your taste. On the non-food side remarks about Carl's Jr is that they should stay in a decent way in making ads about their company and products than the recent controversy to use some half naked woman for ads. This is may be good to bring some dudes to your food chain, but certainly will affect families and kids who wants to go Carl's Jr to eat will keep thinking about what kind of morality you have to use half-naked woman to advertise your burger....Ooops this is a negative aspect to Carl's Jr. But, as far as burger quality and satisfaction concerned, in Las Vegas, you are the best so far, I will get you if you err in quality anytime and write a review, better keep the quality going?.

There are not too many good places for Coffee....and I am still searching and checking around the city, but if someone can shed some light on this blog about where can we get a decent coffee in Las Vegas, it would be cool..! Starbucks is everywhere as usual like a Walmart.....if I have no choice I think of starbucks, even then I try to avoid getting a coffee that stinks like Urine, I avoid going there!?.

Oh, wait, the McDonalds has introduced coffee and one thing for sure, the quality is not that bad, infact the regular coffee of McDonalds is far superior and likeable than starbucks stinky coffee.
