Viva Elvis is the featured show at the magnificent ARIA Resort & Casino Theater. It’s a tribute to the life of Elvis Presley and combines the magic of Cirque du Soleil with the timeless music of the King of Rock and Roll. The showroom itself is one of the nicest we have seen with large comfy sofa-like seating and plenty of legroom. As you enter you are seated by wide-eyed, giggling Elvis fans straight from the 50’s. Take a seat, cuddle up to your loved one and enjoy a cocktail while you watch an entertaining display of music, dance, live music and the always impressive acrobatics that Cirque du Soleil is famous for.

Some of the highlights of the show include the Got A Lot of Livin’ To Do trampolining and the Jailhouse Rock set. And of course, no Elvis tribute would be complete without a 29 foot long Blue Suede Shoe! Interspersed throughout the show are touching clips of Elvis from his life in the movies and military. If you haven’t seen any of Elvis’ movies before, you’ll be inspired to watch them after seeing this show!

Overall we really enjoyed the show. Like most of the shows on the Strip, the tickets are expensive. That said, if cost is no issue, or you can get a good deal, Viva Elvis provides an enjoyable 90 minutes of knee shaking, hand clapping fun!

The Fashion Show Mall is more than great shopping. When you are ready to take a break, there are a variety of attractions and restaurants. California Pizza Kitchen, and Maggiano’s Little Italy are too great choices for Lunch although if you are just looking for a quick bite you can always visit the food court.

The closest hotels to the Fashion Show Mall are Treasure Island, Trump International, Wynn Las Vegas and The Venetion. If you are staying at any of these hotels, or want to enjoy some shopping during your Las Vegas Vacation, the Fashion Show Mall is a great choice.

Oh what a night! Jersey Boys Las Vegas is an awesome show. I knew next to nothing about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons but while watching this show I was amazed by how many great songs I recognized. The entire cast is superb and the staging, while simple, allows all the scene changes to occur creatively and fast. There is some foul language so if you have children do your research.

Jersey Boys Las Vegas is featured at The Palazzo Hotel. If you are looking to see one of the Best Shows in town treat yourself to some good seats next time you visit.

Rule Number 1: Keep it simple
A burger is a burger. The more crazy toppings you add, the more likely you are to screw it up.

Rule Number 2: Keep your expectations Reasonable
You are about to visit a burger restaurant located in a small mall. This is not supposed to be the highlight of your vacation.

I think if you follow these rules and you are in the mood for a burger, you’ll enjoy your trip to the Burger Bar. Black Angus Beef with Cheese and Bacon is fancy enough for me. The fact that the booths have small TV’s is awesome. If you want to watch the game whilst you eat then ask for a booth with a TV. Another big plus is the beer list. Burgers, Beer and TV –what more can you ask for?

The drinks menu features an extensive selection of tequilas, as well as Sangrias, Margaritas, and other Mexican cocktails. I ordered a Negro Modelo, an appetizer of Crunchy Corn Masa Cakes, and Fajitas for my main course. The Corn Masa Cakes were pretty good. There are three Cakes each with different toppings, one beef, one chicken and one pepper. My wife and I agreed that the one topped with peppers (at least I think they were peppers) had the best flavor although the chicken one was pretty good too. At over $25 the Fajitas were the most expensive Fajitas I have ever eaten. Luckily they were awesome. Beautifully presented the mixture of beef, chorizo sausage, peppers, onion, cheese rocked!!

Overall if you enjoy Mexican food I can definitely recommend Isla. We had a great time and the food was very good.

Featuring reproduced music by the Beatles, LOVE combines the magic of Cirque du Soleil together with the music of The Beatles to create a show that everybody can enjoy. The theater doesn’t have a bad seat in the house so if money is tight don’t overly concern yourself with buying the best seat in the house. We sat at the front of the balcony (category 3 seating) and had a great time, although if I went again I would probably choose something a bit closer to the action (section 200s).

The show itself is a fantastic spectacle. The Cirque acrobats do a great job and the colorful costumes are wonderful. Undoubtedly though the star of the show is the music. Combine this with the edited footage of the Beatles that is stylishly interwoven into the show and it’s enough to send a chill down your spine. We left the show with our spirits high ready to enjoy another night on the town.

It’s worth noting that the soundtrack to The Beatles LOVE has been nominated for two 50th Annual GRAMMY Awards.

Rooms at the Wynn Las Vegas range from Resort Rooms to Salon Suites. Resort Rooms offer an average of 640 square feet with great views from the floor-to-ceiling windows. Each room features the Wynn Dream Bed and each Dream Bed is furnished with luxurious Egyptian Cotton Linens. Combine this with a small seating area, high speed Internet access and a flat screen LCD television and you are sure to feel at home.

If you are looking for something a little more “special” then the Wynn Las Vegas Tower Suites are worth considering. Located at the southernmost section of the tower and with their own separate entrance the Tower Suites at Wynn Las Vegas was awarded the first Mobil Five-Star rating ever given to a hotel in Las Vegas.

The Wynn Las Vegas offers a variety of fantastic restaurants to dine at. The 2007 Las Vegas Life Epicurean awards named SW Steakhouse “Best Steakhouse” and Wing Lei “Best Chinese”. In fact Wing Lei is the first and only Michelin-rated Chinese restaurant in the country. ALEX, where chef Alessandro Stratta offers Riviera Cuisine has received multiple awards from being named Best New Restaurant by Esquire magazine in 2005 to obtaining 2 Michelin stars in 2008. If you prefer a more casual dining experience then be sure to try The Buffet, or the Terrace Point Cafe.

All summed up, Picasso is a great choice when you’re looking for a high quality yet not super-expensive restaurant in Las Vegas.

Your visit to Las Vegas isn’t complete without visiting the Bellagio Hotel & Casino. Housing the popular “O”-show by Cirque Du Soleil, the Bellagio attracts many visitors. Culture & Art lovers can also have a great day at the fabolous Botanical Garden or the wonderful Gallery of Fine Art. With the newly opened nightclub “The Bank” and the several bars such as the Baccarat Bar, the Pool Bar and the “caramel” bar. The Via Bellagio shopping mall is THE place for all your shopping with stores from Giorgio Armani to Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent.

If your looking for a fine, traditional Las Vegas wedding, Bellagio’s chapel is where you have to go. There’s also an excellent casino of course in the Bellagio Hotel: two poker rooms, slot machines, blackjack, sports betting… You name it, they have it. For fine dining, casual dining or just a quick meal you can go to one of the many fancy, casual and fine restaurants at the Bellagio Hotel.

Conclusion

The Bellagio is one of the greatest hotels to stay at in Las Vegas and definitely is a must-see.
