I think only Lasse Koskela had a long time ago played the game. Quite a few have read about it and knew what it was about and probably also knew that the customer always orders 5 or 9 beer. As Heimo says in his post they tried to actively get the flow smooth but didnt manage to do it.

Thanks for posting the description of how it went.
It would also be very cool if you could have some links to the beer game as well as some material that is already ready for us to use (hint hint)

How did the participants receive the game? Was there some people in the room that had already seen the game / description before?

How did the crowd react to the systems thinking explanation?

BTW: will you submit this game as a session for LESS2011?
