Good news!

Latent Anxiety won the eWorld Music Awards 2011, fka Hollywood Music Awards in the category Rock/Metal/Punk for the song Message From Hell from the album Suffocation.

This is really an overwhelming moment and a wonderful recognition for my music project around Electronic Alternative Rock (EAR) keeping in mind that Latent Anxiety was already nominated for the same award in 2010 with the song Galley from the album Detonation. For the second time in a row Latent Anxiety has been nominated for the Hollywood Music Awards (tka: eWorld Music Awards) in the category Rock / Heavy Metal / Punk.

"The 2011 eWorld Music Awards is the 3rd annual awards show whose intent is to showcase up-and-coming unsigned musical talent while recognizing the decentralization of music distribution.

Grammy season is changing with the arrival of the eWorld Music Awards. The eWorld Music Awards is positioned to be to the Grammys what the Independent Spirit Awards are to the Oscars: a celebration of independent artists at the hottest party of the year.

This will be the groundbreaking 3rd year for the eWorld Music Awards. We are changing everything and bringing in the fans who will vote for their favorite independent bands and artists online, putting this awards show on a global scale."

Latent Anxiety music will be spotlighted in a new feature film named PTSD from the Award-winning director Fernando Beltran y Puga. It’s edgy. It’s outside the mainstream. It’s perfect for Latent Anxiety.

PTSD is a fast-paced, reality-bending psychological thriller that tells the story of four patients, suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), who decide to participate in a breakthrough scientific experiment searching for a cure. Instead of finding a cure, the experimental technique takes an unexpected turn and unleashes the inner personality of PTSD sufferers, with unwanted and fatal consequences.
The four patients come to realize that there may be an unknown evil force wreaking havoc and, ultimately, threatening their own lives. They will all come face to face with evil and have the opportunity at personal and spiritual redemption.

Latent Anxiety Music Videos in HD

When it comes to new TV, video and game technologies everybody talks about HD. Although different formats still exist, such as 1280×720 pixels (720p) or 1920×1080 pixels (1080i/1080p), and some TV sets try to upscale SD to HD with varying quality, it is obvious that HDTV and Blu Ray will soon become a standard because they deliver a highly enjoying viewing pleasure.

While many older movies are converted to HD / Blue Ray and most of the current filmmaking is actually done in HD or telecined from film to HD, still there are very few HD music videos out there.

Latent Anxiety music videos were all shot in HD1080p or on 16 mm film and converted to HD1080p.

Youtube now also streams HD videos. You can watch the HD music videos Love Delirium and Galley on the Latent Anxiety Channel.

Latent Anxiety releases the 2 brand-new CDs Detonation and Suffocation as well as the compilation Liberation and a collaboration album with Mortal Loom this year.
