Frank, you and everyone else, misinterpreted his statement. Obviously,he meant that Part 2 should have been put together with Part 1...which he put the cart before the horse... and realized both parts should have been released as "The One and Only"...GODFATHER. He's not snobbing anyone in Part 2.

I am pretty sure Coppola meant that 1 and 2 should have been 1 movie. He didn't mean there should not be any of what happened in movie number 2. Just that it should have been all combined into 1 movie. Now it would have been too long so that is why it ended up as 2 movies but in his mind that was 1 long story. No other explanation makes sense.

Sorry, I was under the impression that Italian-American mafiosos were much more similar to Jersey Shore types, because of what I saw in the news was more representational of that. I believe the Godfather to be a fictionalized version of an upper-crust mafia family, unlike the harsh reality of actual East Coast crime families. Just like anything in movies though, people would rather see and glorify a fictionalized Reese Witherspoon-type juggle romance then a real-life plain jane that lives down the street.

....Well it's obvious that Francis Coppola has fallen off the wagon again, and he's making incoherent alcohol induced statements.

Actually Godfather Two exceeded the cinematic value of Godfather One, because Two expanded the horizontal storyline of One, yet maintained its own linear progression integrity. In addition, Al Pachino's performance was simply spectacular, although Al seems to think that his greatest performance was in Dog Day Afternoon in 1975---but keep in mind Al Pachino at the end of the day, is just another actor so what does he really know.

I'm going to give Francis the benefit of the doubt on his totally asinine statement and attribute it to the booze--- and on his behalf correct his slight of tongue and say that what he really meant to say is that he should have never dreamed of making Godfather Three---now Three is the picture that should have never been conceived much less made---so let's all pretend it never was.

Godfather One and Two----Without reservation or doubt are the two greatest films in cinematic history. And anyone that says otherwise is an idiot, with the inclusion of some of the people that made both.

And to Francis--- put down the bottle, it has proven time and time again not to work in your best interest....Artofwar

Jason Kidd -- NBA Stud Dishing Off SICK Dallas Condo for $1.6 Million

With the NBA lockout in full effect -- Jason Kidd is hoping to make a couple of bucks in real estate ... selling off his PIMPED OUT condo in Dallas ... TMZ has learned.

Sources connected to the property tell TMZ ... Kidd originally purchased the 2,607 square foot pad back in 2008 for just under $1.5 mil. Now, he's listed the place at $1,595,000 ... hoping to turn a small profit.

The place ain't bad -- boasting 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a theater and a gym ... along with crazy views of Dallas. There's even a private four car garage.

The place is on the 21st floor of the Azure Condo complex ... right around the corner from American Airlines Arena ... where J. Kidd helped lead the Mavericks to the NBA championship last season.

Calls to Kidd's rep have not been returned.

Jack Wagner Heather Locklear Engagement -- Torpedoed By Wedding Plans

Jack Wagner's engagement to Heather Lockear blew up because of the pressures of planning their wedding.

Jack tells TMZ ... the wedding plans became so all-consuming, they had little or no time to spend with their respective kids.

And there was another complication. Jack says he and Heather decided a blended family was not a good idea, because their kids were too young and it would be too disruptive. So on top of the wedding plans, Jack had to spend time alone with his 2 sons, and Heather spent her remaining time with daughter Ava.

In short ... no time for each other. But Jack tell us ... he's still in touch with Heather and they "still love each other very much."

Justin Bieber took a DNA test on Friday night in New Jersey, and now it's baby mama's move ... TMZ has learned.

We've learned ... Justin took the test at a lab under "very controlled circumstances." We're told there is a solid chain of custody, so it's going to be hard for Mariah Yeater or her lawyer to challenge it.

As we first reported, Justin's team will NOT settle or even discuss settlement with Yeater or her lawyer. It's now up to her to provide DNA results from Mariah's baby.

Justin has vowed to sue Mariah and her lawyers once he establishes he's not the daddy.

Mariah's lawyer was unavailable for comment.

Terrence Howard -- My Wife is LYING ... I Never Threatened to Kill Her

Terrence Howard's estranged wife got a restraining order against the actor this morning -- claiming Howard constantly beats her and threatens to kill her ... but Terrence says it's all a big, fat lie.

Michelle Howard filed court documents, obtained by TMZ, claiming Terrence began beating her up just 7 days after they were married in January 2010.

In the docs, Michelle claims Howard "slugged me across my face and neck" ... and threatened to throw her off a balcony.

Michelle claims the violence continued throughout their marriage -- with Terrence allegedly committing several violent acts, such as

-- smacking her in the face and chipping her tooth with his wedding ring
-- throwing her down to the ground in a parking lot
-- telling her, "I'll hit a woman quicker than I'd hit a man"
-- Saying, "If you tell anyone about my personal business, I will kill you and no one will ever know
-- Screaming, "B*tch, walk home. That's my car, I pay for it."

Howard also filed legal papers, adamantly denying that he EVER threatened Michelle -- but claiming she has been threatening to "release private materials to 3rd parties for her own personal financial gain" unless he paid her money.

Sources connected to the case tell TMZ ... the material in question includes a video of Howard singing naked in the shower.

This morning, an L.A. County Superior Court judge granted Michelle a temporary restraining order preventing Howard from going near her or contacting her until their next court hearing.

Michelle filed for divorce back in February.

Jerry Sandusky -- 8 Alleged Victims Will Reportedly Testify in Court

All 8 alleged victims mentioned in the explosive Jerry Sandusky grand jury report will testify against the former Penn State defensive coach at a preliminary hearing next week ... this according to ABC News.

Sandusky's lawyer had previously stated that his legal team had contacted the person who was allegedly raped in the Penn State locker room ... and that person insisted nothing ever happened.

But according to ABC, that person -- and all of the rest -- will say they WERE abused when they take the stand.

The prelim is set to begin on Dec. 13. Jerry is currently facing 40 counts of child sex abuse.

Paris Hilton Brother Crashes Into Parked Cars

A car driven by Paris Hilton's 17-year-old brother Conrad crashed into two parked cars early this morning ... this according to the LAPD.

The Hilton car hit several parked cars in Brentwood, CA at around 12:50 AM. Cops say Hilton exchanged information with the owner of one of the vehicles and a witness before leaving.

Law enforcement says Hilton left his car behind, as it was in no condition to be driven. It was eventually towed away.

Conrad Hilton was at the Key Club in nearby West Hollywood last night, before the accident.

Frankie Valli -- 'Jersey Boys' Could Cost Him Pretty Penny in Divorce

Frankie Valli -- the lead singer of "The Four Seasons" and brainchild behind the musical "Jersey Boys" -- is learning a hard lesson about marrying younger women, because his ex is trying to take him to the cleaners.

Randy Valli -- who was married to Frankie for 27 years -- has filed legal docs, asking the divorce judge for attorney's fees, but what's really interesting is how much money he makes -- and she already gets.

According to legal docs, Frankie is raking in more than $515,000 per month -- presumably a big chunk is from "Jersey Boys."

But 51-year-old Randy is already getting a big piece of the 77-year-old Frankie. For starters, she gets $30,000 a month -- $5 grand in spousal support, and $25,000 grand a month in royalties from "Jersey Boys."

And this is interesting ... even though she's pulling in more than a third of a million bucks a year, the docs say she's getting $810 a month in public assistance. It looks like that money is for a portion of his SSI because she's taking care of their minor children.

Hmmm.... Harvey just announced to the room he's thinkin' of a TMZ musical.

Joe Paterno Linebacker Video -- KILLED Over Sandusky Appearance

A Joe Paterno approved instructional football video has gotten the death sentence from distributors over a segment involving Jerry Sandusky interacting with young boys ... one of whom may have been among the alleged victims.

The video -- titled, "Joe Paterno: Linebackers" -- was released in the late '90s and features Sandusky running a hands on tackling drill with a group of young boys. A screen shot from the video appears above.

According to the infamous grand jury report in the Sandusky case, the person identified as Victim #4 participated in "a video made about linebackers that featured Sandusky."

The name of the video is not mentioned in the testimony, but we can't seem to find any other instructional video about linebackers that features Sandusky.

Now, TMW Media Group has pulled the video off of its website -- and a rep tells us the company will no longer offer the video for sale strictly because of Sandusky's involvement.

The Internet has been on fire with false reports that the rapper died from a heart attack today -- and several pranksters have already attempted to change the guy's Wiki page to reflect his death.

But T.S. just tweeted, writing, "Stop calling my phone. I'm not dead. Been in the lab working on my 19th album."

And just to make sure, we spoke to the guy on the phone -- and we're pretty sure that settles it ... the guy's alive.

According to our sources, Ashton contacted a high-end car company, to buy a new set of wheels for Demi's birthday. We're told Ashton picked out a 2012 Lexus LS 600h L -- and paid North of $100,000.

Our sources say Ashton wanted a quick deal -- bagging the luxury hybrid on November 9, just two days before Demi's birthday.

If it was meant to win back Demi ... clearly it didn't work. We don't know if Demi accepted the vehicle or if Ashton was able to give it back to the car company.

Gayle King to Matchmaker -- Your Lawsuit Is BS!

Gayle King wants the lawsuit filed against her by a prominent matchmaker thrown out of court -- and it's all because she says she never signed on the dotted line.

As TMZ first reported, King was sued in September by Orly the Matchmaker ... who claimed Gayle promised to get her on "Oprah" in return for her matchmaking service. Orly claims she waived her $500,000 fee and Gayle went on several dates ... but never lived up to her Oprah promise.

According to docs filed in federal court in California this week, King says the entire lawsuit has no merit because California law states that oral contracts -- which is what Orly claims they had -- involving "dating services" are void and unenforceable.

A hearing on King's motion to dismiss is scheduled for January 9, 2012.
