I like it. There is good attention to detail and every page seems to be pretty well thought out. The home page does a good job of drawing me in to the primary sections. I feel like the internal pages could use more photography, beyond the big background photo. But overall I'm impressed.

This site is artistically pleasing, has good spacing, and a minimilist design. These are the good things. I'm not knocked out about the multiple font sizes, font styles, navigation layout, and the (horrible) facebook plugin. I know a number of sites (mine included) try to do too much with a homepage design. That's usually due to too many hands touching the page. IMHO, this tries too hard to be artistically/design pleasing and doesn't do enough.

Another great "Flexi" wordpress template by the BU web team. The only downside is the route that the website maintainer has decided to take with the featured images, huge Facebook image, and other media assets on the website. The website maintainer may want to consult with the BU web team on featured images and content layout in order to match the level of quality we expect with the rest of the BU website.

@sandeepvarry BU uses Wordpress as a CMS for a lot of its sites but it looks like this particular one is managed in Dreamweaver.

Hawaii Pacific University's site has been redesigned since February 2011. Visit HPU's newly designed site at hpu.edu. Edustyle.net needs to pick up the pace in approving the submissions of its members otherwise the edustyle.net loses all validity as an aggregate of what's good design.
