M.Phil and Ph.D Programmes

Applications are invited (in Form A) for admission to M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes in different subjects (as specified on University website www.uniraj.ac.in). As per new rules, admissions to these programmes will be made through an entrance test (UnirajMPAT) for each subject / discipline. Students willing to seek admission in affiliated colleges are also required to take this Test. Students who have qualified UGC/CSIR NET/ SLET (conducted by Rajasthan State only)/ GATE/ Teacher fellowship holder will be exempted from the test. For M.Phil. programme, teachers permanently appointed prior to 199192 and for Ph.D. programme permanent teachers appointed on a substantive basis with three years of continuous service on regular pay scale are also exempted from UnirajMPAT.

However, students/teachers exempted from the Test are required to fill in Form B. The Test will consist of two papers. Paper I will be common to all the candidates and paper II will be separate for each Department/Centre.
