Official Statement from Library of Congress

Having duly considered and accepted the Recommendation of the Register of Copyrights that the prohibition against circumvention of technological measures that effectively control access to copyrighted works shall not apply to persons who engage in non-infringing uses of certain classes of copyrighted works, the Librarian of Congress is exercising his authority to publish a new rule designating classes of copyrighted works that shall be subject to statutory exemption.

EFFECTIVE DATE: October 28, 2012.

Apple is feeling the heat as weak demand for iPhone

Apple cancels halve its order on components for iPhone 5

Apple has asked the LCD display manufacturers, the Sharp and LG display to halve their supply of display devices and components. Reports said that due to weak demand, Apple has cut its orders by up to 50%.

After losing in the battle with other smart phone manufacturers like Samsung, and cheap smart phone makers from china like, Huawei this seems to be a new loss to their revenue.

Reuters reported in September that, Apple also cut its orders on memory chips from its main supplier and competitor, the South Korean big name Samsung.
