Here I am going to tell about how one should apply for their Passport in India.
Follow this sequence of steps:
* Logon to "www.passportindia.gov.in" or click this

* On the right side of this page you will have Login and Register.
* New users Click on Register and follow the steps to create an account with this Website whereas existing users click Login and check for the passport application status etc.,
* During the time of Registration you will be promted to enter Username and Password.
* This should be remembered for further processes.
* Now, after successful registration login and select new Passport online and fill the form which will lead you to series of steps.
* After all this your application will be accepted
* Now, you have to select "view submitted applications" and select upload supporting documents.
* The documents uploaded must be in .pdf format only.
* For the list of accepted documents click here
This should be used only after you Login.
* After uploading the necessary acceptable documents in pdf format, again goto "view submitted applications" and click "manage appointment".
* Take the application recipt, fees for passport, all hard copies of uploaded documents, Two set of xerox copies of the documents and visit PSK(Passport Seva Kendra) which you selected during managing appointment.
* Be on time sharply.
* After the successful completion of the above, you will be called for police verification and after that your passport will be sent through POST to you.

NOTE:

This year the campus placements will be conducted for the final year of engineering graduates during the month of September(for the colleges not in Grade A). It looks like Anna university results delay may also be a background reason. But the actual fact behind the scene is Recession!
Yes , recession started in India.
This will be a bizarre for many of you, but still it is the fact. Here is a proof to you people.

Around 1,300 employees of Tata Consultancy Services will resign from the company following a routine bi-annual performance appraisal. The employees being asked to leave will constitute around one per cent of the total staff, numbering over 1, 30,000, said a spokesperson for the company.

Their leaving the company is not part of any cost-cutting exercise designed to cope with the economic slowdown. TCS bi-annual performance appraisal throws up under-performers who are given special training; but if they are not up to the mark in the next appraisal, they are asked to leave.

Last year, the company had asked 500 employees to leave following such an appraisal. Analysts held that although the staffs cut was for under-performance, it is possible that in times of slowdown companies might come up with more stringent standards for performance.

TCS’ current utilization rate (the proportion of staff working on projects) is 75 per cent, said the spokesperson. This does not mean that 25 per cent are benched, for the rest consist of administrative and other staffs that are not directly on projects.
