“Fireflies” is a song by Owl City released as the first single from his second album Ocean Eyes. Relient K vocalist Matt Thiessen is featured as a guest vocalist in the song. The song debuted at #97 in the US on the Billboard Hot 100; however it soon became a hit, reaching number one on the chart. The song’s leap to number one in the US gave the album its rise on the Billboard 200 from #20 to #8.

Fanta Estelle Swaray, known as Estelle, and formerly as Est’elle is an English hip hop singer, rapper, and producer. She has received the MOBO for “Best Newcomer” and received three consecutive “Best Female Artist” trophies from the UK Hip-Hop Awards.

Estelle was born in West London in 1980 (after which her autobiographical first single was named). She is one of eight children, born to a Senegalese mother and a father from Grenada.
