Samsung tocco lite review : What consists it ?

2010-11-26T19:02:00.000-08:00

The Samsung Tocco is a new smart phone available in black or silver, gold, pink, a touch screen phone is negotiated. While it lacks 3G, which offers a fabulous user interface fun with easy access to Facebook and YouTube and all the features you would expect: a 3.2 megapixel camera, video recording, music player, FM radio with RDS, Memory Card Slot and Bluetooth. Free on contract with a selection of gifts, free third leased to a free Playstation
The best selling mobile phone in the first half of 2009 was probably the LG Cookie. The secret of success of the cookie is simple: it is a touchscreen phone with a few things for only 100 €. So now Samsung has launched the Lite Tocco go to your head to face the cookie better touch screen phone household head. What phone will win the battle Lite Tocco vs Cookie?
Physically, the two devices are exactly the same size, mm! The screens are identical in type, size, color and pixel definition. With a good sized screen (3 inches) high resolution Samsung Tocco Touch Wiz interface works fine on the Lite. Touch Wiz can now be considered a mature technology, and seems to be more or less universally popular. mobile widgets allow you to home screen and easy access to applications such as adjust forecasts the Clock, etc. There are also widgets for popular websites such as MySpace, Facebook and YouTube. The sensor automatically rotates the screen, accelerometer, when you turn the phone sideways, you can switch between vertical and horizontal. The virtual QWERTY keyboard is easy to use, and we have no problems with the touchscreen. To call the addition of "real", send, and select it even easier to use than a full touch phone. The user interface also supports handwriting recognition and blocking effect.
The Web browser is very good, excellent use of what the big screen and easy access to RSS feeds, Gmail, Google Search and Google Maps. The lack of 3G is a barrier to the Web browser, but in terms of download speed.
A minority of users have problems with the audio cutting every few seconds so that you can not hear the caller reported. We can say this is only in O2. Mike B is a possible solution to this problem for users of O2: Try to go menu - Applications - O2 - settings. Install sent the parameters and restart the phone. As I did, and get the distribution parameters O2 I have no problems with calls (at least for the last 2 days.) Hope it helps! Many thanks to Mike B, and if they have, write a comment to let us know how it worked. Please also see this problem if the other network. John L has a workaround for users of O2: go to settings, network settings and select the GSM 900/1800.

Blackberry 8520 review : New smart phone by blackberry

2010-11-26T18:33:00.000-08:00

Invented to replace an entry-level BlackBerry Curve with a new trackpad painful scroll wheel on earlier models of the curve. The BlackBerry 8520 features a full QWERTY keyboard, mobile email, a basic camera and a media player and a good memory and connectivity. But cutting corners with the screen, the camera and the lack of premium features, which in many smartphones.

The BlackBerry 8520 is a touch trackpad. Good work, but somehow went the keyboard and the keyboard is very well published in 8900 was one that has not simply replaced the same sense of security. What a shame! However, the combination of the QWERTY keyboard, trackpad not bad, and certainly a hard time winning writing an e-mail with a conventional alphanumeric keyboard! As budget BlackBerry, the 8520 a place in the lineup, but the savings compared to 8900 is not much.

    * 2-megapixel camera with 5x digital zoom

NOKIA 5230 reviews : New NOKIA Phone

2010-11-26T18:12:00.000-08:00

The NOKIA 5230 is an entry-level smart phone with a touchscreen. Its main characteristics are its large touch screen, A-GPS with Google Maps Ovi, 3G, downloadable applications Ovi and excellent battery life. On the other hand, has a poor camera, a mono speaker, no WiFi or video calls.

Physically the NOKIA 5230 phone looks almost exactly like the Nokia 5800, is the father of this type of handset. It's a good thing because it means you get a large 3.2-inch screen with high resolution of 640 x 360 pixels. There is no duty of the iPhone 3G, but more pixels, so you can tell your fellow iPhone owners! It's a resistive touch screen that is not as smooth as capacitive, but it works very well and has the advantage of coming with a pencil. The screen is ideal for Web browsing, multimedia work and easy with the menus. It is a cell phone more than 5530, but only because the battery from the larger screen and bigger in it is.
The phone has a respectable 70MB of memory that can be expanded to 16 GB with a microSD memory card. Unfortunately, this is not one of these in the box, so be ready to pay a few pounds for one of these. You may need to buy a USB cable, which is not included.
The Nokia 5230 specification :

    * Smartphone Symbian S60 5th Edition
    * 2-megapixel camera with 3x digital zoom
    * Video up to VGA resolution at 30 frames per second recording, 4x digital
        zoom video
    * Display: Touchscreen, 16.7 million colors, 640 x 360 pixels (3.2 inches)
       automatic screen rotation and proximity sensor
    * Nokia Ovi player (MP3, AAC, AAC, eAAC, WMA)
   FM *
    * Ringtones: MP3 ringtones Polyphonic 64 voices video, Vibration
    * A-GPS with Maps 3.0 Ovi
    * Voice commands: voice commands, speaker independent
      Voice Recorder
    * Built-in handsfree
