Synopsis

The Hangover Part 2 takes place a few years after the first and centers around Stu's wedding in Thailand. After the unforgettable bachelor party in Las Vegas, Stu is taking no chances and has opted for a safe, subdued pre-wedding brunch. However, things don't always go as planned. What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what happens in Bangkok can't even be imagined. Still traumatized by memories of the Las Vegas fiasco, Stu (Ed Helms) vows to keep his pre-wedding partying to the bare minimum. But when Phil (Bradley Cooper), Doug (Justin Bartha), and Alan (Zach Galifianakis) show up, Stu's low-key brunch makes their previous Vegas fiasco look like a family trip to Disneyland. This time around, right after the bachelor party in Las Vegas, Phil, Stu, Alan, and Doug jet to Thailand. Stu’s plan for a subdued bachelor party, however, goes seriously awry when they wake up the next morning. Bangkok, Thailand in a hotel.

Of course, out-of-this-world revelations are discovered throughout the movie, such as face tattoos and missing body parts. Funny things happen. People die. But the film is almost exactly the same as the first; they wake up, someone is missing, they try to find him, then funny things happen.

After getting drunk, drugged, stealing a tiger, a police car and a small Asian man – and misplacing their best friend in the process – you would think Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms) and Alan (Zach Galifianakis) would have learned their lesson about having 'one last night out with the guys.' But apparently not because when it's Stu's turn at the altar, the members of the 'Wolfpack' find themselves living Santayana's famous aphorism as literally possible. Take a look the full movie..

Synopsis

"Mr Popper's Penguins" is an adaptation by an author Richard Atwater's of the beloved 1938 children's book. Mr. Popper is a high-powered, New York businessman who suddenly inherits six penguins. Shortly after penning a letter to a team of Arctic explorers, Mr. Popper is surprised to receive a penguin in the mail. Later, after making his mischievous new pal a cozy new home in the freezer, the hapless Mr. Popper comes into possession of a playful female penguin as well.

Taking care of the animals is no easy matter, and he quickly hits major hurdles, both at home and at work. But along the way, he learns the value of family and friendship with human or otherwise.

Tom Popper (Jim Carrey), who plays a divorced but driven realtor who grew up most of his life with his father constantly travelling.

He trying to make amends with his family and winning over the elderly owner of Tavern on the Green (Angela Lansbury) for a business deal. Tom is then thrown out of his comfort zone when he has to suddenly take care of not one, but six penguins left for him by his late father. Throw in miscommunications, troubled relationships, adorable animals, and underlying moral values.

The penguins when computerised came off looking real, and Carrey with his natural way with animals works out brilliantly. It gives us uncomplicated laughs to keep us entertained.

"Mr Popper's Penguin" promises to be entertaining and it does live up to certain expectations. It wasn't thoroughly bad, but it could have been better. Carrey's antics can never get old but a plot like this does. Still proving he has his Carrey charm, this movie will surely get laughs out of everyone. Perhaps we will have wait for another Carrey hit that's better - minus the penguins.

Synopsis

Lee Shin is a university student majoring in modern music.
