SRK-Gauri skips Arjun Rampal's party

2012-04-01T03:48:00.000-07:00

Arjun Rampal and Shahrukh Khan used to be close buddies at one point of time but now things are not so fine between the two. Arjun and Shahrukh stands by one another in every occasion. In every celebration, Arjun and his wife Mehr used to be the first to visit Mannat. But things were not the same today. On Wednesday, Arjun threw a party to celebrate his business partnership with designer Rohit Bahl and all of his close pals were spotted at the bash except Shahrukh and Gauri Khan.

SRK’s absence from Arjun’s party clearly throws a signal that all is not well between them. Says a source, "Arjun invited all his close friends from the industry which includes Shahrukh and Gauri. In fact, Mehr and Gauri have almost been inseparable all these years. But neither of them came."

Recently, there has been news of some tension between the two actors. At Daboo Ratnani's calendar launch in January, Arjun and Hrithik avoided SRK. Their families spend time together almost every year but this year they went for vacation separately.

Says a source, "SRK and Arjun apparently used to have fights on the sets of RA.One. Also, at the party we heard that Gauri was upset because SRK had invited Priyanka Chopra and Mehr had a huge fight with Khan about the same."

Gauri and Mehr also used to be thick friends like their husbands. They used to socialize together but off late, there was nothing as such.

SRK quickly came forward and shielded her from the crowd, physically keeping people away from her. He kept his arms around the actress and escorted her till her car. He made sure that no one could come close to the actress."

The eyewitness also adds, "Shah Rukh has a habit of escorting all his leading ladies to their cars at the airport but in this case, he also played Katrina's bodyguard."

John Abraham engaged with Priya Runchal in April 2012

2011-12-19T07:24:00.000-08:00

Bollywood hunk John Abraham is contemplating engagement in April 2012 most probably with his alleged girlfriend Priya Runchal, a financial analyst. John has not yet divulged who his ladylove is but it is highly speculated that Priya is the lady in question.

Couple of months back, John was spotted with Priya and played a very protective boyfriend. He escorted Priya to the event. It is heard that John and Bipasha broke up over marriage issue. Bips wanted to settle down but John was not ready for commitment then. If Priya is John’s ladylove then she deserves credit, Bips being John’s eight years long girlfriend failed to convince John for marriage and Priya has been able to convince Priya in a few months of friendship.

John is thinking about getting engaged to his supposed girlfriend in April and later this year, he will enter into matrimony.
