There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Salma Hayek is a beautiful Latina and now that she is married to one of the richest men in the world, she has it all, but why would she have such low self esteem about her looks. She tells Parade magazine, "I won a 'Best Body Award' from Fitness Magazine and I was too embarrassed to accept it. I actually don't have a good body, but if everybody thinks so, I guess it means I'm a good actress. I have acted the part of the girl who has a very good body. If you know how to dress, there's some tricks you can pull."

Not so for Salma Hayek, who had a rather simple wedding at the City Hall in Paris on Valentine's Day. And that is it. Unlike Eva Longoria who had a lavish wedding with Tony Parker in Paris, Salma is sticking to entertaining close family members and friends.

She tells People that, "I think a wedding is about love, friends, family and fun. I think spending millions of dollars on a wedding is ridiculous and it has never been my dream. I would never do that."

I think since plastic surgery is safe and viable option for anyone to change their appearance, why should anyone have a problem with it? But should we disclose it? Well, celebrities definitely should, since they are public figures, and if they don't volunteer that information, the tabloids will find out anyway.

I had a family member who had a "secret" tummy tuck but had to disclose it to her mother once she got quite sick during recovery and had to disclose it to her sisters and mother so that they could watch the kids while she recovered.

Salma Hayek, the mother of Paloma Valentina, and ex of Francois-Henri Pinault, has some sagely advice for moms about losing weight after pregnancy.

Yes, as doctors suggest, breastfeeding has many benefits for the child, but it does not guarantee that you will lose weight. According to Salma, "the myth that says you lose all this weight when you breast-feed? That is sooo not true."

I know it sure does help your body work harder but if you continue to overeat and not watch your calories, the weight will not come off. Even worse, you might even gain a few pounds.

In the end losing weight is all about maintaining a healthy balance between calories consumed and burned. So I am back to repeating that working out and low calorie diet are keys to losing weight.

So Is he or Is he not? From all the Latinas that I have met or have written to me, they would marry Ricky Martin in a heartbeat. Some say that they will do so even he is gay.

So why is they guy still single, or to the best of my knowledge, almost never seen with a female?

I don't think that it implies he is not interested in women, but his latest step to become a dad using a surrogate mother, makes me feel more inclined to believe that there is some substance to the rumors about his homosexuality.

It is awesome that Ricky Martin has chosen to be a dad and I am advising all my Latina fans to join to relaunch their dating efforts so as they do not spend the rest of their lives single.

Pregnancy can be very hard on a woman's body. Weight gain, stretch marks, and sagging our almost universal. Even Salma Hayek, a Latin celeb that I admire a lot, has changed since her daughter Valentina was born.

Now, as is very clear from this photo, pregnancy has been a blessing to Christina Aguilera. She confessed in one interview that her breasts became as big as E cups and it seems that there is no going back for her. She is definitely proud of her chest and is not afraid to show it. Hot mama, indeed.

OK I thought that Eva Longoria was a desperate housewife but in this photo she looks like a femme fatale (I guess I can use French expressions to describe her considering that she is married to a French and has learned to speak some) rather than desperate.

I always get amazed when celebs show off their bodies after childbirth as if they just walked out of a plastic surgeon's office. Well, some of them do when they undergo the so-called "mommy makeovers" that typically include liposuction, tummy tuck, and breast lift, but in the case of Jennifer Lopez, to the best of my knowledge, it was all through hard work.

As we know, like Madonna, J Lo is a fitness fanatic, and while she may be training for a triathlon supposedly because of inspiration she received from her kids, but in reality, she just wants to be fit. So how did she do it?

Many moms report that breastfeeding is one of the best things you can do for your body. The other step that you can do is to adjust your diet since you are no longer pregnant. The dietary changes are even more important if you are not nursing. And finally, you might want to fool yourself that just caring for the baby keeps you on your toes and is enough exercise, the reality is that unless you have a proper workout regimen, you are not going to lose those pregnancy pounds right away.
