By popular request I am offering a mosaic jewelry class!

I could not be more excited to share this technique with you.

Student will be creating one pair of mosaic earrings

and one mosaic pendant with chain. Students
will be able to choose between different colors of itsy bitsy tiles and create
their own design. I will also have ideas for other patterns if you would like.
Reservations must be made with payment before class.
You may pay with Visa, cash, check or PayPal and yes I accept Debit cards!

Saturday September 21 11:00 - 12:00 $50 all supplies included
Saturday October 19 11:00 - 12:00 $50 all supplies included

First two classes will reflect a special rate of $25 as a new class price.

Greenville has a new store, well sort of...

I could not be prouder of our new ANTHROPOLOGIE in downtown Greenville, SC. Take a closer

look at the photos above that I captured while shopping right after their grand opening. Notice the peach tree and the orange dress. I loved this gesture since we are noted for our peaches in the area. Another thing that I was impressed with is their lighting. Maybe I am crazy but this is some of the best display lighting I have ever seen. It looks like the real sun coming through!

Did you know they also use local artists artwork, and local antique stores to shop for display items?

"Fine Arts Center student Sierra Snipes' design concept and proposal was chosen and accepted for the 20 feet wide by 8 feet tall mural project. The completed artwork will stand until construction of the store and plaza is completed; afterward the mural will be deconstructed

for inclusion in the store's interior displays."

So go ahead, take a look in the our new ANTHROPOLOGIE and

I promise you will not come out empty handed,

from cookbooks to door knobs, and clothing to candles they have it all.

Custom Mosaic Brand

Today I am very stoked (as they say) to share with you my latest

custom mosaic commission.

I had mentioned the project when I first started back in the fall,
so now I want to share the end results. This is my favorite part.

The clients are organic beef ranchers, thus the name, in Texas.
The project was designed and created in my Greenville, SC
studio and then shipped to her in Texas, to make a long story short.
There it was installed by tile professionals and now you see the beautiful results.
I must say I would love to have one in my home!

By the way isn't her door to die for?

I was looking in Hobby Lobby yesterday for material to make a banner.
I found exactly what I was looking for and then...

out of the corner of my eye I spotted this delicious fabric. Look at those rich colors!

I could just swim in that. One thing I don't see are the teals.

You know I gotta have my teals or turquoise!

My husband and I were out Sunday afternoon for our routine

located behind Bucky's BBQ in Greenville.

This is my third week homework in Holly Becker's Blog Boss e-course. It took me much longer to design than I ever thought. I have been a member of Polyvore for two years but haven't given it much time. I kept getting frusterated. Now I love it! My goal is to start offering more styleboards so that you can see how to wear mosaic jewelry that's handcreated in Greenville, SC and other creative desigin ideas. I am so excited!
