Simply Adorable

6 months is probably one of my most favorite ages to capture. They typically have such a cute little personality! This little man was no different. He was ALL smiles!

Even though he is a Packers fan he was too adorable to hold that against him!

His Daddy used to be in a local band. He can play the guitar so well! I wanted him to keep playing while we finished up the Session. He was pretty awesome!

I so adore how he's looking up at his Daddy!!

Maybe if I start using the new Spring backdrops the weather will break for good?!

It's worth a try, right?!

Remember the newborn about 3 months ago with the beautiful eyelashes and hair!? He's already 3 months old! I can't believe it.

I think it's safe to say that his Mommy and Daddy are pretty smitten over him.

Since it's Valentine's 'Week', we had to sneak in a little Valentine shot!

Miss Adileigh is turning 9 so she and her Mom and Grandma made the 2+ hour trip up for a session. She was so fun to work with. Then at the very end of the session I could tell she wanted one more picture. She sweetly asked if she could have a picture with her Grandma!

Little man Reid, Big Sister Aubrey, Mommy and Grandma came to the Studio today for Reid's newborn photos. He's so lucky to have such a sweet big sister! His Mommy brought lots of props and clothes, we had so much fun!

Mama of 3 Beautiful Girls

This family traveled from Decatur for a photo session. They drove up for the Santa Sessions and decided to make another trip for this little Miss' 6 month session. She wore this adorable monkey hat in and I knew we had to incorporate it into at least one photo!! I'm always so happy when the Mama will be in at least one photo. We tend to always be the ones snapping the pictures and sometimes forget to include ourselves!

This is why I will be having some Mommy and Me Sessions in the Spring! I can't wait to capture all the Mommy's with this little ones!

Hello Mr. Beautiful

This little man was visiting his Grandma in Illinois. He's from Virginia and is the sleepiest little 3 month old. He was born a little early and when Grandma called and really wanted to get him in for a 3 month session, I wasn't expecting to get this! He was so sleepy so we took it and ran with it. I posed and treated him just like a new baby. I finally had to make myself stop because I could have snuggled and photographed him all day. He is just the sweetest little man. I can't wait until he comes back this Fall!

Mr. Colton is 8

This big guy is our neighbor! I've been photographing him for several years now. He's turning 8!! How this is possible...I'm really not sure!? His Mama let him pick out his outfit and props. He wanted a big sports picture for his bedroom. He always gets into the session and comes up with poses and different ideas. He's such a joy to work with!

Leap Year Baby

Mr. Garrett is a leap year baby! He's such a handsome dude. I just love his big chocolate brown eyes! His Mama let him pick his attire. He loves to dress up in collared button down shirts. It's the cutest thing. He got the bow tie for Christmas and wanted it included in the shoot. Happy Birthday Mr. Garrett. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

It's a Baby Weekend!

This weekend we had a Studio full of very important milestone sessions! Mr. Liam is 6 months! He's apart of our milestone collection. He's so happy all the time. It's never hard to get the cutest smile from him! Little Michael is such a happy baby too! His Daddy drives big John Deere tractors and he came dressed in his John Deere clothing, adorable! Little Sadie Bug was up bright and early to make the 2 1/2 hour trip up to see us. Her Mommy had a fun idea to take the same photo with her brother that we did at her newborn session. They are so cute!

Grandma Sarah brought her 2 daughters and 8 out of 13 (I think) grandkiddos with her! They are so fun to see! They were up bright and early as they live about 2 1/2 hours away! Sarah is a retired photographer! She enjoys keeping up with her grandkids now and letting me capture their sweet faces! She bought these adorable outfits for the girls and wanted them photographed in them! They are all so sweet! I know it takes a lot of effort to get 1, 2 or 3 kids ready and to the Studio when you live nearby. I can't imagine all 8 and traveling early in the morning with them all! They are amazing and had it all together upon arrival! I truly appreciate your efforts!

New Beginnings

2013, Bring it!! So excited to see what is in store for 2013! Here is another attempt in keeping this blog updated! You have to start somewhere, right?

My first session of 2013 took place on January 2nd. She was a tiny and perfect little bundle of love, that didn't want to miss a thing! She remained awake for the majority of the session. :)

She does, have the best name...same as our new baby, Finley Jean!

Mr. 'A' is ONE

I have had the pleasure of photographing Mr. A for one entire year! He makes the over 2 hour trek every 3 months to see me. He's the happiest little guy. He fell asleep at the exit and his Mommy was worried since he didn't get his typical nap that he would be crabby. He sure fooled her. He was the happiest little dude!

Valentine Sessions on the 28th

We are currently booked solid for the Easter Mini Sessions. I'm waiting payment from a few. These spots will either open up or I will plan on opening up Friday, as I have a growing waiting list! I sure hope these baby bunnies are ready!!

Miss V is 9 months

Miss 'V' is part of my baby collection. She's the prettiest, happiest little girl around! She's got the most beautiful blue eyes! We had a blast today! She's SO BIG in this one!

Valentine Sessions on the 21st

I got to see some new faces today! Everyone was so sweet and we had so much fun with the 'paint'. This first little dude has 'super hero hearts'. It was the cutest thing!

This little man looked like a model. He had the most beautiful blonde hair and blue eyes.

Little 'L' turn ONE!

This little one year old came to visit me yesterday. He's so sweet! He's the little brother to 3 other beautiful children. I finally figured out his word that makes him laugh or smile. It was 'uh-oh'. He laughed and smiled so much.

Sometimes you have to act pretty goofy to get the best smiles. I love this one. He was cracking up!

I can't believe that little 'L' is already ONE! This year has flown by. He's apart of my Sweet Baby Collection. I was able to photograph him for his 1st year. I really enjoy looking back over the year to see how they change and grow.

New Year and New Resolution!

My goal this year is to stay on top of this blog!! So here's to my 1st Newborn of the year. I introduce to you Miss Baby Abigail. Isn't she so beautiful!!??

I was so excited to get my mail yesterday because this lovely hat arrived from Twiddlebits. If you need a baby hat, check her out. This is my favorite (I say this a lot) hat that she was sent to date. It's a new style that I love!!

She has the most beautiful lips!

I just love baby feet!

She absolutely loved this basket. She was content to stay and sleep all afternoon in this!

Thank you Abigail's Mommy and Grandma for spending the afternoon with me. It was great to get to know you both better. I hope to see you again soon!
